#is it bad that I'm legit disappointed that Bernard isn't evil lol#like as soon as I saw the spoiler panels I perked up like - omg he's going to be interesting now??#they're going to have to flesh out his backstory and his personality??#Tim is going to have a first-boyfriend turned psycho-obsessed-nemesis who he may get to have tension and battles with#over potentially years?? what a goldmine of character interaction!#and then I went to read issues 4-5 and no#it was a fakeout#Bernard seemed so potentially sinister in issue 4 too!!#now it seems like it's just more foreshadowing that he knows Tim = Robin but dammit I was invested in the villain thing lol#that would've fucked Tim UP and it would have been awesome#instead Bernard gets to be a damsel in distress#yaaaaayyyy.....#ah well#at least there were Dick & Tim interactions in this issue#and in issue 4 Bernard legit succeeded in snagging Tim's attention by going 'Tim! - Tim? - Superboy's biggest fan!'#snerk#I will take my tidbits where I can#Cam reads comics#dcu#Cam posts
