Frankly i think abt 90% of people who talk abt how they love the smell of old books would gag if you gave them a book from the fifties
#like that shit Smells#anything older than like the eighties if it hasnt been like encased in like some vacuum stinks#50% of the reason why i wear my n95 while shopping is bc of the smells#is the smell nostalgic for me bc ive been going to church sales since i was prenatal? yeah so i do have a fondness#but that doesnt change the reek
