Okay first off, this is legitimately the funniest ask I’ve ever gotten. I can’t stop laughing at these puns. It’s a shame you’re on anon because the world needs to give you credit for that.

Secondly, it’s been a while since I played SMT IV + Apocalypse so my memory is a bit fuzzy. ( •᷄⌓•᷅ )

How I feel about this character: I like her a lot! I mean, she isn’t my favorite SMT IV character, but she’s definitely a cutie and a very good girl.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Gonna give a basic-ass answer, but Flynn!! I just want her to be happy and for her crush to reciprocate her feelings.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Okay, maybe a weird answer, but ghost Navarre. Honestly, this is less about her dynamic with ghost Navarre, and more about me wanting ghost Navarre to meet up with the SMT IV crew again. I mean, it took literal death to turn Navarre into a likable character for me LOOOL. I just think that the SMT IV crew all getting together again, but this time with the new and improved Navarre, would be so precious.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Despite liking her as a character, I do think that she’s a pretty weak neutral rep. Although, this may be more of a complaint with SMT IV’s writing as opposed to an issue with her actual character. I do think her weakness as an alignment rep is probably why I liked her character a lot more in Apocalypse than in SMT IV.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I guess tying back into my previous point, I kind of wish Isabeau had a bit more… initiative (? I’m not sure if that’s the right word) in SMT IV. But pretty much everything Isabeau did as an alignment rep was as a reaction to Walter or Jonathan’s actions. It felt like there would be this insane idea thrown out there, and then Isabeau would point out that Flynn should choose a more moderate approach. I guess it would have been nice for Isabeau to really take charge and push for her own ideas (basically how desu handles neutrality) without any prompting.

İsmi bilinmemektedir. Öylesine dikkat çekici ve özgün bir uslubu vardır ki, Katalunya, Navarre, Languedoc, Toskana bölgelerinde inşa edilen kiliselerde yapıtları saptanmıştır (bu bölgeler Batı İspanya’dan Kuzey İtalya’ya uzanan bir coğrafyayı işaret etmektedir).

Bahsettiğim plakada tarzının bir çeşit dışavurumcu güce sahip olduğu yazar. Bu tabir bana ilginç geldi; Dışavurumculuğun estetik ontolojisini açıp dökeceksek önümüze, bir çeşit, standard(lar)a, taşkınlık göstermeyen logosa, denge, sayılabilir ve çoğaltılabilir ölçülere işaret eden bir üretim alanından da bahsetmemiz gerekir elbette. Acaba 12.yy’da Avrupa’daki Roma kültür mirasının görsellik deposu ne oranda alımlanabilir durumdadır?:

İsa ayakta bir figür olarak havarilerle beraber kompozisyonda denge oluşturmaktadır; aralarında balıkların göründüğü göl suları ise deterministik bir amaç için oyulmuş bir dokudan fazlası değildir. Acaba Dışavurumculuk, Sanat, Sahneleme ve dolayısıyla Barok kavramları bizleri nereye götürecek?

So it seems that in one of the novels on KoA, Isabella has to protect Juana from Ferdinand's wrath because he clearly dislikes her all the way. It is not the first time in English novels, or in any novels on KoA or any other member of this family, for that matter, when this happens. I agree Ferdinand could be a bastard but I am sick of assuming he always disliked his daughters and his wife, where there is no evidence to back it up. It is still better than this weird spiece of a novel where he violates and rapes his own daughter though... And yeah, he did not think woman was capable to rule but Isa, pious and precious, great politician with balls, showed him! Yes, of course, Ferdinand was the man of his times and as such wanted power for himself (Isabella did not want to share either, btw.) and it should not surprise anyone. But I don't think I would say Ferdinand did not believe woman was capable to rule, in the sense of exercising political powers, effectively conducting negotiations, etc. Ferdinand's aunt Maria of Castile was regent for his uncle Alfonso V of Aragon, his mother served as regent in Cataluña and Navarre for him and his father, who entrusted her with political negotiations. It is not like Isabella was the first in this sense, not to mention the first Queen of Castile to exercise sole power was Urraca I of León, centuries before, and she did it successfully, even though many people forget that. @darkwinterblossom
