listen someone on the bird hellsite mentioned WoL primals once and I haven’t known peace since
#the horror they could represent regardless of summoning! the intention warped by lack of understanding#it’s a bit like….not dunking on shiva but to make a primal out of the mythos of this woman from the past is a bit horrifying#it falls in line with thordan. with ga bu’s version of Titan.#intention and will made manifest into a creature born of horror or reverence#the horror of something twisted made in the image of yourself to inspire or to bring about ruin#feels a bit like….I dunno the horror of being worshiped#would it be frightening to the WoL? would it be disgusting? would it be rage inducing?#i dunno! but the idea of a simlarcrum of one’s self being made into that which only you are capable of killing is…something#would it be like killing part of yourself? killing that which inspired such reverence to create such a being?#gives me monster complex vibes which is definitely a direction to take the WoL into if Thad’s#*that’s your bag. i love a good monster complex in a game where power creep is inevitable#brief EW spoilers here so go away if you don’t have that yet!#the whole what happens in UT and beyond the stars and the prayers of the scions#being both that which fuels the fight. but the potential therein of fervent belief + dynamis creating Some form of primal#that rattles around in my head#owen plays ffxiv#what is playing a little bit of a mmorpg if you don’t cram some of your favorite tropes into it
