ok only if you want but can yuppie give me a rundown of the les mis fandom/ characters? Like who is enjolras and why do people ship him with the guy whose name starts with g and ends with taire? Idk I remember the plot of valjean stealing bread then taking care of a dead lady's daughter while running from the worst cop ever add the daughter like falls in love with eddie redmayne but i remember none of the freedom guys lol.

I don’t feel super qualified to answer this cuz I haven’t read all of the book yet, but I LOVE the musical and thank you for indulging me cuz this musical has my heart, body, and soul

So your first question is about Enjolras and Grantaire. One of the storylines in Les Mis is about the June Rebellion, which was an anti-monarchist uprising (that actually happened irl but that’s besides the point.) In the show, Enjolras is the intense and passionate leader of this revolution. He has a bunch of friends who have joined in his cause. One of them is Marius (played by Eddie Redmayne in the 2012 movie) who falls in love with this girl (Cosette) who happens to be the adoptive daughter of a known convict. But we’ll get to that later. So Marius comes in being all “I’M IN LOVE” and Enjolras is like “NO WTF I DONT CARE STICK TO THE PROGRAM WE ARE TRYING TO REVOLT 👏 AGAINST 👏 THE 👏MONARCHS 👏 AND FREE 👏 THE 👏 PEOPLE”

So Enjolras is all revolution, no nonsense. And all the other schoolboys (the barricade boys) are on his side. But then there’s Grantaire, who believes in nothing and is constantly drunk. Depending on the version, but in the book especially, it’s pretty clear that he is hopelessly in love with Enjolras. Again, Enjolras is taking none of that cuz he’s in love with France. In the book, there’s an interaction between them where Enjolras says “You don’t believe in anything.” And Grantaire says “I believe in you.”

So the rebellion culminates in the boys building a massive barricade, waiting there to fight the soldiers that oppose them, for the freedom of the people. No matter how passionate and strong-willed the boys of the revolution are, it is sadly hopeless. The soldiers and policeman kill them. The last one to die is Enjolras, triumphant till the end. But wait! While the guards are closing in on Enjolras, who pops up, drunk and out-of-it but GRANTAIRE HIMSELF. He goes over and asks if he can stand by Enjolras (“Permets-tu?” in the original French book. Which roughly means “Do you permit it?”) They take each other’s hands and DIE TOGETHER so no wonder ppl ship them.

As for Marius and the girl he likes. The girl is Cosette, whose mother was a woman living in poverty and fending for herself named Fantine. She could not take care of Cosette, so a kind man named Jean Valjean took her as his own. And Fantine passes :(

But a lil thing about Jean Valjean is that he stole some bread to save his sister’s child but was CAUGHT so he spent 19 years imprisoned. After that, his porale began but it WASNT ENOUGH cuz the guy who oversaw those prisoners was INSPECTOR JAVERT, a man who made it his life mission (he thinks it was God-ordained as well) to track down and capture Jean Valjean. So Jean Valjean has been relentlessly pursued by Javert ever since. And when Valjean finally gets the chance to end Javert’s life and end this chase, he spares him, shows him mercy. Javert, in his dedication to the law and his ONE mission, cannot take this mercy, and throws himself off a bridge. :{

The barricade boys have fallen, Javert has fallen. And eventually, Valjean will be taken from the world as well.

Then his first was there sometimes but was always super busy and when he was there he let Iza literally cling on his pant leg as he walked around? And he carried iza a lot. Then he “”abandoned”” or that’s how iza saw it because he felt really betrayed when he was given to his second but like, that only happened because his first was blackmailed and his business was in danger and he couldn’t keep himself afloat again like, he was about to be homeless and he was just “I hate to do this but this and I hate that I have to ruin my cat so he’ll take him but he has so much dirt on me that I don’t want to have gotten out to the public.” So oop then yeah his second. V bad. Much hurt iza. Like the history with his first is important I swear lol cause it literally shaped Iza //cry I think iza cried a lot when he was little too because he didn’t like being alone/without his first because big giant apartment. Which is ironic because now Iza has a big giant apartment that feels empty :^)

A Nightmare Turned Out To Be a Blessing (Drabble)

It was midnight, and everything had calmed down finally. The detective prince Naoto Shirogane and the assassin Luna Ortinna were having a small sleepover at Luna’s estate. However….

———Blood. Blood is everywhere. The bones and guts of many criminals surrounded a smaller figure, who was covered in the scarlet substance. The person had no expression besides false pity, for she truly felt no regrets about what she has done. “So, are ya gonna tell me what I wish to know? Or,” The voice is clearly feminine, as the silver glint of a blade flickers before the only remaining criminal alive. “-do I have to play with you more?” The figure, now identifiable as a female, asks in a sickeningly sweet voice, malice laced in her threat. The criminal glared at her, before spitting on her person. The fake pity went away from her expression, and disgust and anger took place.

“Such a shame, I was willing to let you leave without having too many body parts missing~. Oh well~” The female grins, stepping on his chest with her sharp heel of her boot. There was a now a long thin sharp bladed weapon, the knife in her other hand as she laughed, however to him it was dark and full of murderous intent. “I got the information anyway from one of your dead, mutilated, friends~. Better get on your knees and beg for mercy~!” Her words were cold and very sadistic, and it didn’t help that the female’s cheeks were dusted in red, since her face was devoid of blood. it was like she was getting aroused from dishing out pain.———

The hybrid’s eyes shot open and she sat up, holding her chest where her heart was. The furious beating of the organ that was  responsible for keeping her alive rang in her ears. Her breathing was heavy and uneven. The girl’s vision was blurred with tears, and her other hand was over her mouth to try and silence her oncoming sobs that began to rack her body as she curled in on herself.

“Luna? Are you okay?” A soft, tired voice snapped her out of her scared daze. Feeling movement on her bed, (since they both were in the guest room, and the room had two separate beds that could hold up to two people), along with the lamp turning on. Naoto’s face held concern. Seems she was up before the other had woke up from her nightmare.

“Y-Yeah….Don-Don’t worry about it.” The Moon lied, a weak smile on her face.

“No you aren’t. You were thrashing in your sleep. Wanna talk about it? It might help.” Luna looked at her, before her strong mask crumpled and fell as she began to sob, her cat ears had twisted back and went flat on her head. Naoto was surprised. From the year and a half that she’s known the feline hybrid, not once has she seen this girl before her so….broken. So now, the detective decided that for now she would simply do something that she was still unsure of: she hugged her.

Once Luna was able to calm down, she had explained her past times doing interrogations and she what she had to do when she got in the enemy’s hold. It was like a different side of the assassin that Naoto realized that she’s seen only possibly a tenth of while in the TV World. So did Yu, but now only she knew the whole truth.

“I don’t want to hurt you if somehow that side of me comes out again like that…” The assassin whispered hoarsely.

“Look at me—you’re safe. And I know you won’t Luna. Even if that happens again, I’ll be there to save you. You’re someone that stands into importance of someone like my grandfather and my job.” Naoto blushed a bit as she found herself admitting her feeling without much problems as she wiped away a stray tear.

“N-Nao-Nao…?” Luna managed to say, her cheeks also pink as the two closed the distance between their lips.

“I-I guess what I’m try-trying to say is….I love you Luna.” When said female didn’t answer after a few minutes the detective thought that maybe the feelings were not mutual before feeling a soft pair of lips on her pale ones briefly before pulling away.

“I-I love you too Naoto. C-Could you just sleep with m-me? I don’t want to be alone….” This time, Naoto kissed her first this time.

“I don’t mind.”
