thank god the hanks of 0/11 seed beads i need to make my decorative ren faire chain mail are only $4.50 each bc I just had to buy the rest of their stock to make sure I’d have enough
#i think i might have enough time to make a ‘chain mail’ overskirt of a beaded netting i just need to make sure i have ENOUGH#i’m going through them so quickly and i’m only partway through with one of the arm covers!! and i’ll need more for the chest plate!#zoe stuff#i need to figure out a tag for this stuff bc i’m literally teaching myself how to make the idea that’s in my head#it’s 4 different kinds of visible beads (and 1 invisible/for structure)#it’s figuring out that i need to prioritize glass beads bc they won’t heat up to the same extent as other materials#(for the weather)#it’s scouring the internet for paillette sequins that look like stamped metal for scale armor so it’s not heavy like real metal#it’s using jewelry wire of different gages to reinforce and get things to hold their shape#i’m having SO much fun but wow if i were going to sell what i’m making it would be $600 easy#i don’t want to talk about how much money i’ve spent on the materials#ren tag#okay good enough
