For someone with an attitude most people would describe as ‘cold’, Itoshi Rin’s hands are really warm.

Such thought was a truth you were not scared to speak of. “I love holding your hand,” you said, standing beside him with you head leaning against his shoulder. With both of your fingers intertwined, it felt like home despite the two of you being away in the cold snow of a foreign country. “It’s really warm. Like a heater.”

Rin didn’t reply you for a moment, unsurprisingly. But in his silence, he tightened his hold around your hands. “Sure.”

You chuckled for a moment before nuzzling your face against his shoulder, “I love you, Rin.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Rin replied with a tone mixing between dismissal and embarrassment. Yet, he still pressed himself closer to you.

“Say it back,” you nudged him slightly.

Rin stayed silent for another minute. Then, a soft whisper landed along with a pair of lips on the crown of your head, “You are noisy.”

You let out another happy laugh and even if Rin didn’t smile, you knew his heart is warm too at that moment.

A few steps away in the back, Chigiri Hyoma made a face whilst Karasu Tabito recorded everything in his phone. “They are disgusting,” the redhead muttered under his breath.

“I know right,” his companion replied with a smirk, fully intending to spread the video to the group chat later.
