#forgot ho w much i despise the 4th of july...#its 11pm and some asshole just went firing off some sort of firework#hopefully probably fireworks anyway they had the whistling sound#anyway point is i WAS peacefully reading before bed w/ my cats cuddled up w/ me#then the lound BANGBANG ANGS started and me and my cats all got to enjoy a few moments of pure panic#also im suddenly realizing that this is my first 4th of july living alone nd#well i live closer to the 'city' not in the quiet suburban/rural where i grew up#i grew up in like the epitome of a quiet small town trye family nd retirement home vibes#so in all honestly living in a place thats more active w/ more crime does in fact make me mildly nervous
