Final Flash Update: an actual review
Tumblr media
The DCEU has always been very hit or miss for me, but it has a special place in my heart. When Man of Steel came out, my dad was OBSESSED with it (still is), and it became the first superhero movie I ever watched. Despite the mediocre scores internet-wide (and how the terraforming scared the shit out of me as a kid), I cannot help but love that film to death. It really sparked my interest with superheroes and just ‘nerdier’ stuff in general.
While the DCEU opened me up to the whole world of superheroes, it also became part of what made me so weary of comic book movies. While there were good movies like Wonder Woman (2017) and (hot take) Black Adam, and great ones like the Snydercut, there were also huge disappointments that left me feeling pissed off when the theater lights turned back on. It’s not like all of these movies are downright horrible in every way (exception being 2016’s Suicide Squad), but each seemed to have its own form of kryptonite. The Justice League (2017)’s being its lack of character development; Wonder Woman 1984’s forgettable plot; and of course, Batman v. Superman’s Martha scene.
With the DCEU’s track record, the over saturation of superhero media, and with Ezra Miller being… Ezra Miller, my hopes for this movie were extremely low. But I actually left the theater feeling pretty.. decent?
Here are my main takeaways. Spoilers ahead:
Plot + Characters
As of now, I haven’t noticed any critical plot holes, which is pretty great, especially considering it’s a multiverse movie and all. Everything that blew up in Barry’s face was tied up nicely. But I am sorta curious to see how moving the tomato can caused Ben Affleck to become George Clooney.
The time mechanics were also pretty neat, like how a new future creates a new past.
I kinda like Barry a lot. He’s wicked awkward but it’s funny to watch.
Younger Barry too! He was such an airhead in the beginning that I was shocked to find out he was the guy that our Barry kept seeing when he time travelled.
I found Keaton’s Batman entertaining too. But the whole time Keaton didn’t really seem like he was trying to act. He just looked happy to be Batman again, which I can’t blame him for. On that note, I wish Bale’s Batman made a cameo somehow.
I was underwhelmed with the Zod plot. I was ready to watch him totally kick Flash’s ass. I didn’t mind Kara, but again she was a bit underwhelming too.
I got excited when Zod mentioned discovering Clark in his pod somewhere in space. I was like “Oh shit, did they take him in and train him to fight for them?” Seeing an evil Superman would’ve been crazy, but nah, they just killed him instead. Lame-os.
Effects / CGI
Oh man, I did not enjoy some of the choices made here.
First of all, the deep fake cameos. And also, deepfaking people like Adam West and all, who are dead, is a little odd. However Nicholas Cage showing up was very funny.
Then there was the CGI in the Speedverse (?? correct me if that’s the wrong name). It was video-game level. I felt like I was watching a skyrim-inspired acid trip.
Even outside of speedverse, the quality was really spotty.
Action
Oh my god, it’s so refreshing when there’s even the tiniest ounce of creativity in fight scenes (Looking at you, MCU).
Diving deeper into Barry’s powers was cool and seeing him fight with (and then against) himself was neat!
Then there was also pretty standard Batman stuff that I’m a sucker for
NEEDED a better Kara v. Zod fight. I wanted lasers. I wanted them to go to space. ANYTHING
Overall Emotional Reaction
Both Barrys hit hard a few times. The desperation to fix everything. Having to let go of their mom and accept their fate(s?). The scene when he said goodbye to her for the last time was pretty sad.
The themes were simple: accept your past; pain makes us who we are; etc etc. But there’s nothing really wrong with that.
The jokes landed! I laughed with, not at, most things
…Okay, I did laugh out loud at some things, like the deepfakes and when the Barrys phased for the first time.
But yeah, it was really enjoyable to watch. The runtime wasn’t an issue at all. Dull moments were rare (though I didn’t give a single shit about Barry’s dating life at all)
Final Score:
Characters: 7/10
Plot: 7/10
CGI: 4/10
Action: 7/10
Tumblr media
6.3 / 10
If I had to rank: above Black Adam, below Wonder Woman
but seriously can they just recast flash already. I wish ezra miller all the best on rehabbing themselves, and they really do a great job with the character, but it’s like they’re trying to get a jail sentence with everything they’ve done

I played Dead Man’s Phone.  It’s an interactive story of the ‘found phone’ style; in this case, you play as a detective given a teenager’s phone after he was found dead.  There’s quite a diverse cast of characters, all very grounded (nothing over the top here), from the boy’s group of friends, his family, and your supporting staff. The game spends a lot of time letting you get to know these people, but most importantly, the victim, Jerome, which has the intended result of making you feel very, very invested in finding out who was responsible.  At one point, I started thinking of these “characters” as real people and responding emotionally in kind, so kudos on the devs on making sure there was a lot of empathy involved with the interactions with the cast.  (Like, I got seriously attached to Jerome’s immediate circle of friends, especially as they start learning the limits of the world; I just wanted to protect them all haha.)
I can’t talk too much about the plot without spoilers; it’s a murder-mystery/crime drama at heart set in London, which starts off seemingly open-and-shut before revealing itself to be a tangled web. The game also does quite a bit of social commentary in its story; some of it like a bullhorn, some of it more subtle, but most quite on the nose.  It gets a bit real at times, so to speak.  Without divulging too much, I do think the big reveal is treated rather... naively? Is probably the most good-faith way of putting it.  But I’m just cynical, I guess.  The first ending though, was on point—very frustrating and I got really distraught over “my sons.”  There’s an alternate chapter with a more positive outcome though.
The gameplay is fairly bare-bones as an interactive story; you switch between Jerome’s phone, looking through his history or talking with his friends, and your Scotland Yard OS, where you can interrogate people or have your team look through forensic evidence.  There doesn’t seem to be any branching paths despite the dialogue trees; I don’t think the game is ‘failable’ since it’s more concerned with telling a story through a unique medium than gameplay.  The game does have weird timers that initiate to indicate the passage of time after you send someone off to look up a clue or wait for something new to develop, but these are skippable.  I don’t know why they’re in here, unless the devs originally wanted, or will plan to in the future, add IAP to skip the timers or insert ads to watch if you want to skip.  But as they are of this review, the game is f2p with no ads or forced waiting periods between actions or episodes.
Acting is really great, with some pretty natural dialogue in the text, and the music is pretty solid if it’s your sort of thing.  The game takes a while to load at game launch, and each episode is downloaded individually.  There are no supernatural elements involved; this is all about people and the consequences of their actions, and the game doesn’t feature any blood or gore.
Overall, it was worth the play, especially since I did enjoy the cast, which really helped carry a lot of the emotional aspects to make the commentary more personal.  As a side note, you only have to check the privacy policy on initial startup to enter the game; you can opt out of the data collection.

Discussing the good and bad of Pokémon Journeys: Part “Rocket Gang”
It is no secret that the handling of Rocket Gang in Journeys is quite different from how the fans and audience have come to know them. Even I have tons to say about how I feel about Rockets in this series, so let's get started!
Tumblr media
TLDR; Their handling in this series isn't exactly the best kind as it has removed one of the beloved aspects of them (having own Pokémon they bond very closely with) and is showing less often how they are RIGHTEUS evil, not evil evil. More under the cut, Journeys abverted to JN.
So. How do I begin. Let's start with saying: I am a Rocket Fan. A huge one. Ever since I started watching Pokémon couple years ago during Sun & Moon's first year, I fell in love with these buffoons, and I absolutely adored how the two bonded with their Pokémon and showcased that they're not that different from the brats, just on the villainnous side. Kojiro is a loving and caring man, Musashi has gone through lots of stuff and Nyarth has deep understanding over Pokémon's feelings due to his past experiences. Oh, Sonansu's there too, I love that blue blop so much. Honestly, the main reason I love these four so much is because they're such lovable villains who tend know what is right for their Pokémon, or other Pokémon they manage to bond with. And it was shown really well pre-SM as well.
Tumblr media
Like, one of my favourite episodes of all time for Rockets is actually JN019, and it's because of how the Rockets end up helping a Ditto/Metamon who wants to be a proper actor, but thus far tended to fail in transforming into Pokémon perfectly. Musashi, as a actress herself, really bonds with this Metamon, managed to help it perfect the transformation with the help of Kojiro, Nyarth and Sonansu, and despite having the job to pokenap Pokémon... they actually end up helping Metamon to get back its job, to make sure it doesn't have a reputation of a Rocket 'mon. And they do SUCH a good job at acting like they're not intending it.
Like, during this acting performance, they really want to get blasted off! They don't even hide it. They keep provoking Satoshi to use Pikachu's Thunderbolt to blast them off and save Metamon that way. And I just fricking love them for this asjhgsjhgfs.
But aside from this episode, there really hasn't been that many episodes focusing on this aspect of Rockets. Another good episode for them JN is JN024 thou, where Rockets are on vacation and, are NOT on their villainous acts.
Tumblr media
They're mere citizens in that episode, enjoying their free time in Sinnoh's Resort Area. And even when the brats come around, they fully ignore their need to capture Pikachu. For Sakaki-sama's orders. Akjhksajfh I just, really love how this ep managed to show that, even if they are part of Rocket Gang, it's merely their job, not who they are fully. They're not like Matori, they're not like Yamato and Kosanji- oh it's Kosaburo. They're merely doing the villainous stuff because they believe it to help make the world better. And when they're not working? They're good citizens. This was such a good episode for them because of this because it really showed that they could easily just be friends with the brats if they weren't on the opposite sides.
Tumblr media
They even helped foil Matori's team's plans on kidnapping every single Pokémon in the Resort Area and sajghsjhgf. These four really hate Matori now do they. They're on her side, but they also keep foiling her plans. Even in Sun & Moon they foiled Matori's plans to pokenap Nuikoguma, because they knew their lovely Kiteruguma mom bear would be upset. As I said before: They're villains, but they're not evil evil. They do the evil stuff for their own rightful reasons.
Now that I've discussed the reasons I love Rockets and what I've loved in JN, let's talk about what it is that makes me feel iffy about their handling in JN, one of them being the lack of own permament poketeam.
Tumblr media
In the past seasons, Rockets would always catch themselves one of their own 'mon that would willingly join their causes, and end up bonding with them deeply. In JN, this is... pretty much non-existant. We have the recurring 'mon of Kamukame/Chewtle and Morpeko, but the first one appears in such a rare rate, and latter one has been used as a... abuse comedy. When the Morpeko started following Rockets, I had hoped that it would end up bonding with the Rockets and they'd find some common ground, but so far, there's no sign of it, and Morpeko is more like a leech in their base instead of a powerful asset, and like. I feel like this was the show's way of trying to recreate Kiteruguma but with an opposite twist of it eating their rations instead of feeding them like Kiteruguma did, but it's not working as well as Mama Bear's gimmick did. At least in my opinion.
Now let me just say that, I don't really mind the Rocket Gacha machine. I feel like the concept it has is pretty cool, and seeing what kind of Pokémon Rocket Gang has managed to capture for using is super cool to witness. They also have been able to switch up it's results in unique and fun ways and seeing it sometimes fail is kinda fun and relatable to anyone who's played gacha games, sajhgfs. However, it feels like the Gacha completely replaced Rocket Quatret's ability to capture Pokémon of their own and, it hurts my soul to say it.
Tumblr media
I think one of the reasons they did this route was due to how in Sun & Moon, Musashi and Kojiro ended up leaving their 'mon behind, due to knowing that they won't like it at the Rocket Head Quarters and leaving the cozy family that is Kiteruguma and Nuikoguma. So, maybe the writers felt like the Quatret would now feel bad about capturing 'mon they would bond closely with after this, and then ending up having to send them to HQ. So in a way, I get the possible intention behind this decision. Yet it still hurts. And I feel like most Rocket Fans feel the same way.
Their writing is pretty much the same throughout the show (which imo is kind of an average, as it doesn't hit the nail the same way I came to love them in Sun & Moon or OS to DP era, or even XY and Best Wishes DA! Arc), so it doesn't make sense for me to recite every single appearance of theirs, but I really have to discuss what irritated me a lot:
So. JN059.
Tumblr media
I'll just say it straight away: I did not like how Rockets were written in this episode. At all. While their personality was spot on, their motives and actions weren't. Like... the fact that Grookey/Sarunori was a Rocket 'mon is a unique concept and I honestly like it. However, the way Sarunori ended up switching sides was so bad for me. So bad.
No. I am not one of those who think that Gou stole Sarunori from them and doesn't deserve it. No. That ain't my problem. It's more like the issue in how Rockets weren't allowed to learn more about Sarunori, bond with it, learn that it's not the one to want to join the villanous side and feels happier with Gou. The idea of the story for Rocket 'mon to switch sides is great. Excecution however is not.
Tumblr media
Like... this line where Musashi says that Sarunori needs to be sent back to HQ to be re-educated specifically ticks me off in bad way and I hate to feel ticked off like this. And this line is all because they weren't allowed to learn more about Sarunori's motives. Because the plot had to be in one episode. I feel like the motives, Rocket Gang's handling and side switching would have worked better for me, if it was a longer built arc. Sort of like how Mijumaru/Oshawott, Hikozaru/Chimchar and the likes of them were done.
And this hurts more because of JN019 where they WERE allowed to bond and perform an act of helping Metamon get back its job. These buffoons KNOW when the 'mon deserves to go to the non-villainous side. And it's all because of JN019 that I feel so strongly ticked off for this line. "We'll... ...have you re-educated". That's not what they were gonna do with Metamon. Like. God damn it.
Rockets were there when Hikozaru switched teams from Shinji to Satoshi. They came to care for the lil monkey before this switch and after this switch. They KNEW it would be better off with Satoshi, and they kept rooting for it from afar, despite constantly trying to steal it. That's their job. Same with how Nyarth comes to like the Honcho Nyabby, due to its background, and finds peace with knowing that Nyabby will find a happy life with Satoshi. All of these examples are exactly why I strongly dislike how Jn059 handled Rockets, and I so god damn wish they would have ACCEPTED that Saruroni should join Gou, but make it so that they'd have to rescue Sarunori instead of giving it to them just like that. They're not heartless.
Tumblr media
Unless this was an act from them. Which I doubt since Nyarth learns about Sarunori wanting to go with Gou late into the episode and then trying to deny it having been said??? Uuuugh. This episode really could have used more build up and different handling with Rockets.
Another option that would have made me like Sarunori's capture was if it had been some other Rockets it escaped from, like Matori Matrix or sudden return of Yamato and Kosaburo, or something else. I LIKE the idea of Sarunori being a Rocket 'mon, so I wouldn't change it. I just don't like that it was OUR beloved Rockets that had to be treating it this way.
Sigh. Now that that's out of the way. What else is there to say. Well. How would I try improving Rockets in JN? Simple: give them their own Pokémon to care for. Make them bond with more than just Chewtle. Let them have Pokémon they can bond with and show their loving side with. It's severely lacking right now and I feel like most Rocket fans are really missing this aspect a lot. Also please don't make them act like they don't understand Pokémon's feelings. They do. I'm glad that Satoshi still knows that Rockets care for Pokémon of their own and wouldn't treat them badly, but it still isn't showcased that well in JN. So I wish it would improve on that. I would also seriously love it if some of their old 'mon from past shows would come up from the Gacha Machine, as I'd imagine them being put inside there as well. It did have tons of Gulpin inside for some reason.... Sakaki, wtf.
Well. I guess there's not much else to talk about regarding Rockets. In short, I love Rockets, but I'm not happy with how they're handled in JN fully and despite there being couple really good episodes for them, and some of the episodes have excellent usage with them (like JN038 where Musashi just casually says "Evening" to Satoshi when he discovers them hiding in bushes, sajhgshfsghjf forever love that moment). I just want better handling with their righteus evil.
So. What's up next? I'm thinking about compiling a post of COTDs and supporting cast next time, which would include the likes of Kikuna, Renji, Sakuragi, family casts etc.
Tumblr media
So, thanks for reading if you got this far, hope you enjoyed it despite possibly disagreeing with me, and I hope you'll all have a fantastic day.
Til next time! Aleira, aka Smiling Performer, signing out!

Do Shadow and Bone & Six of Crows Work as One Story?
https://ift.tt/3dL3rrm
This SHADOW AND BONE feature contains spoilers for Season 1.
Though Netflix’s new fantasy series Shadow and Bone is based on the bestselling Grishaverse novels of author Leigh Bardugo, it’s not a straightforward adaptation of the book series that shares its name. In addition to the Shadow and Bone trilogy, the series also incorporates elements from Six of Crows, a duology that is set in the same world, but focused on a very different set of characters.
Set two years after the events of Shadow and Bone, Six of Crows is a dramatic heist story set in a different country (Kerch)  and starring a set of characters who really don’t take part in the events of the first trilogy. Until now. Shadow and Bone attempts to create what are essentially prequel storylines for the major characters of Six of Crows: criminal mastermind Kaz Brekker, assassin Inej Ghafa, gunslinger Jesper Fahey, and spy Nina Zenik.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
How these figures would fit into the series’ existing storyline of the discovery of a legendary  Sun Summoner with the power to destroy the Shadow Fold was a question that every book fan was wondering prior to the series debut. And now that Shadow and Bone is here, it’s time to dig into whether this fusion of these two separate-but-related series worked or not.
Den of Geek editor Kayti Burt and Den of Geek contributor Lacy Baugher dig into the specifics of the good, the bad, and the somewhere in between when it comes to incorporating the Six of Crows characters into Shadow and Bone. Welcome to our discussion, and feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments below…
Question: Going into this series, what did you think about Netflix’s choice to integrate Six of Crows into Shadow and Bone? Did you think it would work?
Kayti: As someone who has only read the first book in the Shadow and Bone series and neither of the Six of Crows duology, I was intrigued.
As a viewer of adaptation, I tend to hold my opinions until I’ve at least seen the trailer and… well, the first teaser (which is the only trailer I watched before binging the screeners) didn’t give much away. That being said, there’s nothing that frustrates me more than an adaptation that is overly faithful to the plot without being faithful to the tone, characters, and themes of the source material, so I think I am much more tolerant of major plot changes when it comes to adaptation than the average viewer?
Lacy: I will admit that I was extremely apprehensive about it. I mean, I get the impetus to combine both sets of characters into a single story if only to allow Six of Crows fans the chance to see favorites like Kaz and Jesper onscreen. (There are no guarantees that Shadow and Bone would be successful enough to even get a second season, let alone a sequel/spin-off about a completely different cast, after all.)
But the thing is, Six of Crows is a very different story from Shadow and Bone – from setting and characters, to the time it takes place. (It’s actually set two full years after the events in the final Shadow and Bone novel, Ruin and Rising.) Furthermore, it’s also a very different kind of story. Six of Crows is very much a heist drama and one that’s not concerned so much with things like love triangles or larger Ravkan politics. And the characters are, of necessity, much darker and more morally gray than Alina and her friends. I worried that the two worlds of these stories wouldn’t mesh well, or that there simply wouldn’t be anything for the Six of Crows crew to do.
Kayti: Yeah, these are such valid concerns! Even as someone who had never read Six of Crows, I knew that these series, while set in the same world, were doing very different things.
Reading your response, Lacy, I also think I saw it as a way to incorporate the more popular Six of Crows material into the slightly less popular Shadow and Bone, which did make me a bit nervous, as it seemed to be a marketing decision more than a story one. That being said, with good storytellers, those two motivations do not have to be mutually exclusive!
Question: Now that you’ve seen the show, what do you think works with the strategy?
Lacy: Shadow and Bone does, I think, pull off the inclusion of the Six of Crows crew fairly well. Much better than I expected it to if I’m honest.
There are certainly problems – for the first four episodes, it generally feels like the Crows cast exists in an entirely different show that has very little to do with the stuff happening in Os Alta. Shadow and Bone is also generally terrible as a series at drawing any sort of distinctions about what makes life in Kerch different from that in Ravka and how that might have shaped these people.
But the character work is honestly great, and the addition of this Six of Crows prequel plot adds some really interesting layers to Inej and Jesper especially. The show is really clear that the latter obviously has Grisha power in a way that the books are not, and Kit Young steals almost every scene he’s in. (Milo the goat! I cannot! Protect him!)
I also love the way that the show fleshes out Inej, both in terms of her past and how the overhanging threat of returning to the Menagerie impacts her choices, as well as the way her religious beliefs shape who she is. (There’s something honestly wonderful about the fact that she gets to meet and know Alina, who is – and will become even more fully – revered as a saint by her faith, and I just love that for her.)
Kayti: I agree! For the first half of the season, I wasn’t sure if it worked, and I do think that has something to do with the weakness of setting in this adaptation. For parallel storylines to work well, they need to have a strong sense of world-building. In that way, even if there aren’t explicit plot or character connections between the two (or more!) storylines, then each storyline still adds something to the other(s) by virtue of telling us something about the larger world they share. Game of Thrones did this famously well, as does The Expanse. In Shadow and Bone, the articulation of setting is one of the adaptation’s weakest elements—the world and its cultures don’t truly feel real or lived in to me—and I think that hurts the integration of these two book series.
That being said, once the characters and plot collide in the second half of the season, this integration works incredibly well for me. I loved the final episode for so many reasons, but one of the big ones was for how integral the Six of Crows characters (or at least Jesper, Inej, and Kaz) felt to this climax—I mean, Inej throws a dagger into The Darkling! By the end of this season, it didn’t matter to me that the world-building didn’t quite work because I was so invested in these characters. (And I loved the Inej/Alina stuff, as well.)
And then, of course, we have Nina and Matthias off on their own, little subplot, giving me the Jon Snow/Ygritte vibes. Again, this subplot picked up steam for me. At the beginning, I didn’t know why we should care, but these actors really brought their “A” game when it came to their Enemies to Friends to (Almost) Lovers journey, complete with There Is Only One Bed and Huddling For Warmth. I never stood a chance.
Lacy: There is Only One Bed!!! Truly, the best romantic trope there is. Heart eyes emoji.
You’re really right about Shadow and Bone and how it articulates setting. On some level, the fact that the Shadow Fold is the most fully realized location in the show makes a lot of sense – it’s huge, monstrous, and terrifying. But this focus has the downside of making almost everywhere else look and seem exactly the same. (I really would like to know how many viewers didn’t/haven’t yet realized that Kerch is an entirely separate country with different laws about Grisha.)
The utter destruction of the West Ravkan city of Novokribirsk at the end of the season is supposed to be really shocking and underline how depraved the Darkling is, but I don’t think it hits as hard as it should – part of the reason is that the show has plenty of other opportunities to show us the Darkling’s flaws, but it’s also because there’s no real attempt to give West Ravka any real sense of place or identity.

Shadow & Bone: Ranking the Ships
By Kayti Burt and 1 other
Question: What do you think doesn’t work?
Kayti: I think that some of the supporting characters from Shadow and Bone get lost in the shuffle here, as does the Ravka world-building, and I think that is partially because we spend so much time with the Six of Crows gang. There’s nothing to say that, even if Six of Crows hadn’t been incorporated into this adaptation, we would have had more Os Alta or that more would have been better. In both the source material and the adaptation, the Os Alta stuff feels perfunctory rather than inspired. I would have loved to see the adaptation breathe new life into it, similar to what they did with Mal in the translation, who is a much fuller character in the Netflix series than he is in the book.
Lacy: Kaz Brekker, unfortunately. I mean, I think part of this is because there are aspects of who Kaz is and what he’s been through that you just can’t find out right now because of the story that’s still to come in Six of Crows and how that all plays into things there.
This is probably the right decision, but it has the really annoying side effect of making Kaz the least interesting character in Shadow and Bone for me. And if you’ve read the books, you know that’s the furthest thing from the truth. But here, Kaz is basically just a dude with a cool walking stick who’s kind of super into Inej for some reason and hates a man named Pekka Rollins. There’s almost no sense of who he is on his own terms or why he behaves the way he does.
Kayti: As someone who has yet to read Six of Crows, the degree of mystery around Kaz’s character worked for me. The character performance was strong enough that, even though I wanted answers about his backstory now, it felt more in a “I am getting what I need, not what I want” sort of viewing experience—though I get how this could be different if you already know and love his character.
As a non-book reader, I love the tension of not knowing what the heck is up with Kaz because it seems so in line with who he is as a character—jaded, angry, and prone to pushing people away. Of course, if he didn’t have enough sense to be friends (or whatever) with Inej and Jesper, I probably wouldn’t have as much time for his bullshit. The fact that these two seem to vouch for him as a person worth standing by goes a long way for me, and makes his character all the more intriguing.
Question: Do you foresee any problems with this strategy moving forward?
Lacy: Where do they go from here? The end of Shadow and Bone Season 1 sort of puts all the pieces in place for what feels like it’s about to become the first novel in the Six of Crows series. The Crows gang is on a boat heading back to Ketterdam, Nina is on the same ship with them, clearly about to join their crew with her own Matthias-related agenda. Alina and Mal are heading off on their own journey, which will take them on a completely different path. (Both figuratively and literally speaking.)
Is Shadow and Bone just going to move up the timeline of Six of Crows and put the rest of that story as a sort of B plot to the elements of Siege and Storm that will inevitably drive any Season 2? Season 1 successfully managed to use these characters by basically inventing a backstory for them that wasn’t present anywhere else. (Though it should be noted that Nina’s does come from the books.) I’m not sure that I think they can successfully do that again. But if they do adapt Six of Crows, how does that story fit here – especially if it means they can’t easily cross back into the main narrative?
I’m nervous, is what I’m saying. But the show has pleasantly surprised me thus far, so I live in hope.
Kayti: As someone who hasn’t read the books, I am blissfully ignorant, though, as our two main groups of characters are heading in different directions (both figuratively and literally, as you say, Lacy), I’m not sure what Season 2 is going to look like. Are these characters going to be in completely different stories? Because that doesn’t sound like the best idea. Or is the world-changing stakes of The Darkling and his pet shadows big enough that it will pull all of our main characters in?
Whatever happens in terms of the Shadow and Bone/Six of Crows division, I am very excited to see Nina and Matthias fully engage with Inej, Jesper, and Kaz. Maybe they will spend Season 2 together, with the events of the Six of Crows plot, and come back together somehow with Alina & co. for Season 3?
Lacy: You know, I actually don’t mind that idea at all – sort of letting everyone be free to do their own specific series-mandated things next season and then come back together again in Season 3. Because I think what bugs me is the idea that we might have been sort of gifted this really nifty blending of the book narratives and then have it taken away with nary a mention again. (I also just really want Nina to meet Alina, sue me.)
The more I think about it, the more I don’t necessarily see why we couldn’t have some of the Six of Crows plot here – yes, technically it takes place later on, chronologically speaking, but the show itself has already moved up the timeline of Matthias’ impending imprisonment in Hellgate, which is a big initial mission the Crows crew has to sort of undertake. I don’t think he deserves to stay in prison for what is essentially two more books before they get him out. Maybe that’s a place Season 2 can easily start.

Shadow and Bone Review: Netflix Adaptation Brings the Magic
By Lacy Baugher
Question: Final thoughts.
Kayti: I can’t get over how well this integration worked for me in the second half of the season. This isn’t Stan Lee popping up as a random member of the First Army; Inej, Kaz, and Jesper are the ones to drive Alina out of the palace, and they get to be a small part of that final fight with The Darkling (while not taking away from Alina’s agency and power in that climax). Then, we get a family campfire at the end of the season that straight-up feels like fanfiction (which coming from me is not a dismissal, but rather the ultimate compliment).
Lacy: I can’t wait to really see Nina incorporated with the rest of the Six of Crows cast. She spends most of this season off in her own storyline, which is necessary and gives us a lot of great moments (Nina + Matthias 4-ever), but I am very much looking forward to seeing her friendship with Inej develop.
Also, if we’re going to keep the Six of Crows crew around for any sort of Season 2, which I think they’ll want to do to some extent, I really hope we spend some serious time in Ketterdam, exploring what Kerch is like and how it’s different from Ravka and Fjerda. The Ketterdam set looks amazing and we should get some use out of it.
Kayti: Yes to more Kerch! I am hoping that what we saw in Season 1 was just the tip of the iceberg for what they have planned in terms of the culture and world and that Ketterdam feels more lived-in in Season 2. Overall, the season finale definitely left me eager for more. More than after watching the first episode, after watching the eighth episode, I felt like this story was just getting started.
Looking back on this first season, I think one of the reasons why this show works so well is because it isn’t just a “Chosen One” narrative, and I think that is because it incorporates the Six of Crows’ heist-driven structure. The heist is, by its nature, an ensemble story, while the YA “Chosen One” structure is usually a first-person narrative, which doesn’t always translate so well to the screen. In addition to its amazing characters, this multiple POV, non-Chosen One sensibility is the most important thing Six of Crows brings to Shadow and Bone, and I don’t know if the adaptation would work half as well without it.

kamen rider OOO review
a young man, having dozed off a night on security guard detail, awakens to find an odd red coin engraved with a bird motif. assuming the coin is payment for his work, he goes to change into his civilian clothes and oh fuck there’s a giant hole in the wall.
Tumblr media
after a quick police interview revealing that our hero 1. is thoroughly naive and 2. has an unusual fixation with underwear, he puts his clothes on and goes to spend his “payment” in a vending machine and--whoops, dropped the coin under the machine. fortunately, a very strong (and CUTE) young lady is nearby to help lift up the machine...and nearly drops it when they see the monstrous disembodied arm crawling out from beneath! then the arm, who can talk and has a terrible personality, starts giving underwear boy orders. oh yeah, and i totally forgot to mention the opera rendition of “happy birthday” played over a bunch of weird monsters terrorizing civilians as a snappily dressed executive decorates a birthday cake on his office desk.
welcome to the world of kamen rider OOO! (pronounced “ohs”--like cheeri”os”.)
Tumblr media
^ oh, the sexual tension.
plot: there’s two other fictional worlds that OOO has brought to mind for me multiple times. the worldbuilding and unique magical elements of OOO combined with a heaping cupful of absurdity and a pinch of homoeroticism reminded me quite a bit of jojo’s bizarre adventure--crazy and ridiculous stuff happens, but it’s built up in such a way that you generally understand enough of what’s going on that it isn’t too confusing. furthermore, the themes of desire, evolution, beginnings, endings, and nihilism bring to mind the dilemmas at play in the shin megami tensei games--many of the platitudes expressed in OOO could’ve easily been quoted from lucifer...and others from smtiv’s white. you’ll want to learn the truths. you’ll want to see what happens next.
characters: despite what ankh may claim, this show is not about him, as evidenced by the fact that its title is not bird greed ankh. he sure is a Character, though. heisei kamen rider is great at giving its viewers morally iffy or outright bastardy characters so unique and interesting that you wind up cheering for as much as if not more than for the heroes, and ankh is a primo example of this.
Tumblr media
i love him, but also fuck that guy.
eiji hino definitely fits into the tradition of himbo tokusatsu protagonists. he’s not a complete dumbass so much as he is a pollyanna. like others in said tradition, he’s endearing, and i believe in him. you learn a lot about him over the course of the story, and how you see him closer to the end may surprise you.
the cast is colorful and fun. hina izumi, the super strong girl from earlier, becomes inexorably entwined in this drama of medals and monsters when her beloved older brother shingo winds up possessed. shintaro gotou, a former police officer, now works on behalf of the mysterious kougami foundation with the aim of fighting evil and protecting the innocent--but isn’t so sure how he’s going to do so. akira date, a roguish bad boy doctor and self-professed slave to desire, takes on a very special job to fulfill his goal of earning 100,000,000 yen. more oddballs can be found in service of the kougami foundation as the story continues...
oh, and the greed. or greeed. i’ve seen it both ways. i believe i’ve said a bunch of times before that i like a toku series with good fucking villains--you learn who they are and what drives them, you get how what they’re doing fulfills those goals, and you see how they relate to those around them beyond the customary shit-talking of the heroes. not only that, but the greed are a novel concept with fascinating aesthetics. i greatly enjoyed learning their secrets.
Tumblr media
fights: instrumental to every battle is the abilities OOO has access to, which are determined by the medals he has in his possession--ancient coins which act as the DNA of the greed, and grant OOO different animal-themed powers. he equips the cheetah medal, and he can move at great speeds. he equips the hawk medal, and he can see great distances. naturally, such powerful artifacts are in high demand--OOO and the greed are constantly stealing them from each other, meaning what he’s capable of can vary greatly from episode to episode. only being able to switch out different hands is so 1980.
Tumblr media
abilities that change again and again throughout the series make for some awesomely unique fights. mix that up with the various greed and the unique monsters they create using the power of human desire--yummies--and the fights don’t get dull.
visuals: the fact that i started watching kamen rider w with @shylax while still watching OOO made me notice something interesting: OOO appears to be the point that neo-heisei kamen rider became the bright shiny lightshow we see today in zi-o. w, while not visually lacking, still has the sort of drab, overcast quality to it that i’ve also noticed in ryuki and decade. i don’t know the technical terms needed to describe this phenomenon more accurately--just that something changed in 2011, and kamen rider really brightened up.
OOO’s suit forms are colorful and bold. many of the characters are associated with color motifs. cous coussier, the eccentric costume cafe that becomes eiji’s base of operations, is constantly switching up its theme and outfits. and as always, toei provides lots of visually striking sets.
music: the unusual opening theme, “anything goes”, will definitely make an impression; i initially found it weird, but damn, it gets me fired up now. strong inserts and moving incidentals are included too. “anything goes”, along with inserts “time judged all” and “reverse re;birth” have their own music videos, the latter two featuring the characters singing.
Tumblr media
if you actually read all that, it should come as no surprise that i had a blast watching kamen rider OOO and highly recommend it. kobayashi knocks it out of the goddamn park once again!
as for my next series...i’m looking at a few possibilities. kamen rider 555 is one, as it’s a series @shylax definitely enjoyed. i’m also curious about other yasuko kobayashi series, seeing as they’ve proven great investments of my time so far. i’ve also grown curious about metal hero after seeing the new space sheriff gavan on kyuranger, though i’m at a loss for where i’d start with it. in the meantime, however, i’m going to watch the OOO movies!

Rambling
You know, the UAF writers really SUCKED at their jobs.
This is not a new or uncommon opinion, I know, but I just recently remembered just how astonishingly bad they were at continuity and consistency - not just between their show and the OS, but even within their own show!  Charmcaster’s episodes displayed this perfectly. There was absolutely no rhyme and reason, no cause and effect, between most of them.
First, let’s remember the OS: in “Tough Luck” Charmcaster debuts and first meets the Tennysons during a plan of Hex’s that she ends up hijacking, betraying her uncle and establishing her own villainous independence. “A Change of Face” is the natural follow-up with Charm now having and exercising that independence, and now that she’s met Ben and knows what his watch can do, she naturally goes after it. In that episode, she learns that Gwen has a magical aura, and then is defeated and imprisoned by Gwen, who takes her spell book. The natural follow-up to this is in “Ben 10 vs. the Negative 10″, where Charm wants to both get revenge on Gwen for being imprisoned (even making a reference to the “Princess” nickname Gwen had inadvertently gotten while in Charm’s body) and genuinely wants to see how Gwen has fared learning from her spell book, since the prospect of a good magical rival to fight (and defeat, boosting her ego in doing so) excites her.
See? A very natural, organic progression.
It’s the same with OV: Charmcaster is doing fine ruling Ledgerdomain and getting high off the Alpha Rune’s magic in peace for the first half of the show, but then in “Mystery Incorporeal”, Darkstar tries to drain Ledgerdomain’s magic at Friedkin University, so she goes out and punishes him by turning him into a totem.  Meanwhile, Zs’Skayr steals the Alpha Rune while she’s away, leading to “Charmed, I’m Sure” where Charm goes to Anur Transyl to reclaim it. Most of its power is drained by Zs’Skayr and Charm wastes the last of it on Adwaita’s advice to turn on Ben, and now in need of a replacement power source, Darkstar suggests one he knows is at Friedkin, leading into “Charm School” where Charm tries to get the Staff of Ages from Hex but fails due to Gwen, only obtaining a totemified Hex. This naturally leads to “Third Time’s a Charm” where Charm lures Gwen into a trap so that she can be out of the picture when she returns to Friedkin for the staff, but when she does she hears about Bezel and his power being present and shifts gears toward claiming that. She gets trapped in her own bag and kept at Friedkin for rehab by Gwen and Hex, which already seems to have made progress in “Most Dangerous Game Show” and would continue into the Lucky Girl spin-off.
Again, totally consistent development.
But between those two shows, we have UAF.  “In Charm’s Way” immediately makes no sense as a progression from Charmcaster in the OS - she decides to get revenge on Gwen five years later, totally at random, and it’s said to be revenge for Gwen stealing her spell book, which was something Charm in the OS very explicitly did NOT hold a grudge against her for - in fact, she actually had hoped that she would use it to get better at magic!  But no, suddenly she’s jealous of Gwen being good at magic because it all comes easy to her due to her being an Anodite who is “made of mana” - again, not consistent with the OS, since there Gwen was struggling with learning magic the whole way through. How she was able to use magic was something we sadly never found out, but it clearly did not come easy to her.
In “Time Heals”, what happened in the previous Charmcaster episode doesn’t matter in the slightest!  Not only is Kevin back to boo-hooing about how Gwen must not love him because he’s so hideous, but Charmcaster is apparently now out for world domination, alongside Hex?  And then in “Hit ‘Em Where They Live”, she’s now teaming up with Zombozo and Vulkanus in order to get revenge on Gwen by...targeting Ben’s parents?  Whaaaaaaat?
Then we reach “Where the Magic Happens”, where we get Charmcaster’s tragic backstory and noble motivations to free her realm’s people with no prior foreshadowing whatsoever.  It comes completely out of left field, just when Ben, Gwen and Kevin so conveniently need to enter Ledgerdomain in pursuit of Aggregor. If this was her goal all along, then where were the clues in the previous episodes? Why didn’t she just ask the heroes for help? And what was world domination or killing Gwen going to accomplish in terms of that goal? It’s ridiculous!
And “Enemy of My Frenemy” pretty famously has no consistency with the previous episode at all.  The promise to return to help Charm ASAP was forgotten about for a whole year until it’s suddenly remembered this episode.  Kevin is suddenly hateful and distrustful of Charm despite him agreeing that they’d return for her at the end of the previous episode. Charm has suddenly brushed aside the bond she’d formed with Gwen, is suddenly evil again and is suddenly now claiming that her goal along has been to resurrect her father - again, not at all foreshadowed, and makes even less sense when considering all of her previous actions.
Irritatingly, the ONLY UAF Charmcaster episode to keep any consistency with the previous one is “Couples Retreat”. Charm is still ruling Ledgerdomain even though she doesn’t like it because she wants to atone for her great sin against its inhabitants, and she desperately wants a loving man in her life to fill the hole left by her dead father (just typing that makes me want to scream, btw.)  And yet its still written in a way where this isn’t made entirely clear for anyone who didn’t watch the previous episode. Charm never actually mentions her father at all, and the only reference to her momentary genocide is a brief line from Kevin. (Another inconsistency - the end of last episode had Kevin empathizing with Charm. Not anymore!)
There is no consistent development or progress being made.  If I recall, it was confirmed that the writers didn’t actually keep in contact with one another or show each other their scripts, so this lack of communication is a big reason behind the problem. But more blame should be assigned to the late, usually great but not this time, Dwayne McDuffie.  He was the story editor, it was literally part of his job to make sure plot and character development stayed consistent, and yet he just didn’t seem to care about this particular series enough to do that.
Anyone else remember any other frustrating inconsistent plot and/or character progressions across the series and want to vent about it?  I’d be glad to hear them in reblogs of this post.

From a gameplay point ofview, there's hardly any else directly. You arrive, tap several times, collect your rewards for the pursuits obtainable, and then touch much more. You haven't any type of real control over characters, and also the thing it is feasible to affect may be the design of your college. That's all great though as that's whatever you ought to expect from a gambling establishment video game in this category. Would certainly it not have been great for TinyCo to implement additional interactivity for gamers? Sure. As it though stands, this kind or sort of city-building video game remains to find significant success, so there is no genuine reason behind TinyCo to deviate way too much off the ruined route. Exactly what will conserve you Marvel Avengers Academy from being yet one more building game might be the story and also the identities merely. Marvel Avengers Academy isn't really all it appears to be, and also the Black Widow does her better to convince her classmates that Nick Fierceness is hiding lots of secrets. It isn't really hard on her behalf to encourage Iron Person, Wasp as well as the others of her pals that there definitely is much more taking place, in particular when adequate time haze (Marvel Avengers Academy's approach to wall off the general game world) discloses things such as a smashed Iron Gentleman helmet from the near future. Trainees begin to question specifically just how they all finished up at Marvel Avengers Academy and also simply why they're all so teenage. For his part, Nick Fierceness isn't really declaring significantly, however tips are gone down periodically that there's a more considerable danger and also secret at occupy past HYDRA coming to be jerks.
Including this in-depth story to a portable video game in this category is virtually unusual. While other video game titles in this style have obtained provided simplistic overarching plots as well as more compact, anecdotal stories, Marvel Avengers Academy's toughest match is its limited and constantly-expanding narrative. Additionally, that it excels. The slowly-developing tale is just what put us returning and enhancing missions for each one of these characters. Without that large storyline connecting everyone collectively, the selling point of Marvel Avengers Academy will be only linked with the certificate itself. That's not often sufficient to keep players committed to returning time and again. Discovering more in just what Nick Fury is usually concealing and exactly what HYDRA is extremely as much as at its rival academy was additional addictive compared to opening the overall game for just a few even more faucets. Both personality style as well as characterization are incredibly solid too. The hipper, more youthful variations of the personalities all remain reasonably near their comics equivalent's looks, yet provide a fresh undertake each character's famous styles. If you play enough time, you could open the initial clothing Iron Man, Battle Wasp as well as Devices use in the comics themselves.

Mothers & Fathers Of Advanced Consciousness
***Warning: This post is NOT for children under 30! This post contains raw messages of the truest spirit & divine SOLutions that MUST be implemented. READ ON YOUR OWN ACCOUNT! Avoid Distractions as much as possible!***
Ight…no pussyfooting in this message about how our current socioeconomic system is depleting in viable resources OR what we should do on a individual level pertaining to solving it. Nah! It’s going to take collective effort on constructing our own economy gaining access to tools & resources WITHOUT MONETARY CURRENCIES. How??? The answer is You, I & Us.
The truth is, we’re living in a fuckin mockery - a well-thought out game of spirit cookers keeping collective consciousness from mastering themselves. It was created by heads of planets abroad who manipulated & controlled those wealthy oligarchs in upper echelon places to capture souls of the ancestors and harness energy from their vessels’ blood. (Again…if you’re not ready to take this work then leave this post NOW because your life will be dramatically change regardless if you’re aware of it or not.)
See…most people follow frivolousness and they have no desire on changing. They love living off government. They love having products created for them. They love having educational curriculums encode fraudulent information in our textbooks, social media accounts, and motion pictures. These people are called civil citizens. If you’re a civil citizen, you are being spiritually cooked to obey or perish. Your vessel is expendable. Your life is considered collateral damage. Every single military personnel from low ranking privates to special ranking privateers is considered expendable. Why??? They consented to give their life as Knights to the “royal courts” and combat in the name of “freedom”. But, whose freedom???
The question is, are you free??? Are you free to learn & apply information that will design & architect your own consciousness & skill? Are you free to acquire resources that will construct your own livelihoods so your children become raised on foundations created by you? Are you free to work when you want without oppressive legislation reprimanding you to pay for someone else’s material wealth going further into debt to this illusion of money? Man, better question…Are you free to live without debt? Debt – by itself – is a systemic stronghold on progressive freedom, PERIOD! In other words, if you have cash, paper assets, or fiat currency then YOU’RE IN DEBT Debt to who??? Debt to the ones who print it into existence. Monopoly magicians and corporate tricksters misled you to think cash was king. If that’s true, why does it take less money to create one dollar bill? It takes almost 2¢ to create a 50 dollar bill. Why is that? Do your own research and see if I’m accurate on this.
The bottom line is we’re being hoodwinked into believing in a socioeconomic system that is based on perjurious knowledge. We think we’re being informed, but we’re not! We’ve always been in the dark regarding what’s REALLY GOING ON. There are a lot of people in on it too. These people are stringently supporting oligarchs’ plan of Divide & Conquer; foolishly working against themselves and their children.
Oh!!! I haven’t even touched on what our children will endure regarding the spiritual & mental stress of dealing w/ automated cities. (Again, if you’ve read this far you know I’m not going to care about being PC about info because MF’s need to wake up to this shit.)
Ok…since day one, we’ve been RULERS OF OUR OWN DESTINY. Meaning, we were conceived by father’s space-time consciousness (thought) and then transported through our mother’s mortal portals (wombs) to manifest in flesh as Wombman/Man. When we are born, our thoughts are as ancient as the Sun, but our brains are fresh like a brand new OS in a computer. In other words, you are born pre-installed w/ programs inside your DNA that must be awoken so our hard drives (brains) can store & secure its data. Our children’s brains, eyes, ears, basically their whole entire bodies are free & clear of “worldly” information. So, if you train that child’s brain at an early age to engage & love his worldly life, which is this physical realm, then one will stray away from tapping in the totality of creation which is source code - where your children’s true self is waiting to be activated. Source code is hidden deep within your genetic algorithms and can only be awoken in ALKALINE ENVIRONMENTS OR AWOKEN PARENTS. Parents that have instilled divine principles through practicing ancient laws of the Universe. Now, are you your child’s PRIMARY producer? Are you gathering materials for food shelter and clothing on your own account? Does your child learn foundational skills (how to grow nourishing edibles, produce clothing material, architect their own skill sets) from you or your counter-part? If you answered NO on any question, your children are pawns in this chess game rigged to keep them subordinate vessels forever swimming in perpetual fear (debt). Due UR Research!
The truth is, no one cares because WE DON’T CARE as a collective. How can you say you care when millions of vessels are destroyed every month and WE DO NOTHING! We have allowed murders, assassinations, poisoned attacks, and engineered genocides control our collective responsibility to our children’s future because of fear. Our ancestors ( great grandparents, grandparents ) fought and transitioned just to keep us together spiritually & financially. Yes!!! You are able to enjoy luxuries of materializations because a vessel has sacrificed his/her physical prowess to simplify your acquisitions of wealth. To many people choose sides when every religion, spiritual system, culture, indoctrinations, etc., are derived from Source. Our ancestors believe & did things ignorantly so we can learn from them and upgrade in consciousness because no matter what… they are still apart of Us. They suffered extreme psychological damage from their time in this physical realm from oppression than we today could ever imagine. They travailed. They persevered. They transferred their prosperous synergies to Us - bio genetically. Now, we must implement what our ancestors risked their vessels to manifest, which is OPERATIONAL UNITY. All the buck dancing, buffoonery, pseudo agencies, dysfunctional relationships NEED TO STOP! We are too grown to be fighting each other, in the physical, while others from private militias plot on destroying you and your family’s prosperity in the spiritual. Remember, the more people stay asleep (calcified pineal gland), the less likely you are to activate your God particle that lies dormant within.
When opening up your pineal gland and awaken dormant genetic material in your DNA, you start seeing way beyond this physical realm called reality. When you see things, for the first time shit is confusing as hell - literally. It’s like your mind starts experiencing a conceptualized reality that doesn’t resonate with your core frequency of what you consider as “normal”. So, you vibrate higher. Everything around you becomes amplified. You start to slow time down by separating vibrational wavelengths (Megahertz) having light illuminate hidden messages within Source Code. Your relationships with others become uncomfortable and perturbed. Why? Because your vibrational frequency is no longer radiating on lower levels. Information you receive from your awoken state is now contrary to popular belief which causes you to become a solitary sol-doer - proving with every fiber of your BEing who you REALLY ARE. Why??? Because you finally SEE what your inner child has felt all your life. Your visual focus is no longer impaired and everything, everywhere you see is all apart of YOU. How? Well, when you’ve mediated you gain access to dimensions on other realms. If you give yourself to this Existence and clear your consciousness on what you think is real, answers will come to you ONLY if you’re willing to listen. When you embrace this and accept its extraordinary power over you, you then EMBODY its forces narrowing it down to 2 forces which is spirit & soul/negative & positive/minus & plus/up & down/left & right - the subatomic force in each active particle.
What we’ve been taught though is a false paradigm of this which is God Or devil/Black Or white/Bad Or Good - the choice between who you are.
We’ve been programmed to see or feel good or evil/God or Devil/heaven or hell when the truth is one can’t and will not exist without the other. Having to choose between your mother or father is a false reality forever creating divisions within self causing you to vicariously live through others’ visual focus. This is why wars, combustibilities, and acts of violence happen…because we’ve been programmed to follow one or the other. Not knowing that they BOTH ARE APART OF YOU. The best advice to give someone constantly fighting a war within self and projecting that war onto others in this physical realm is win the battle within self first then use that experience to unify the forces in you to manifest balance in this physical realm. Some of you maybe wondering why I refer to our so called reality as a physical realm…well, because it’s an Plane Of Existence that materializes your thoughts, ideas, imaginations i.e. Childbirth, skill sets, businesses, responsive relationships into fruition. This physical realm is of low vibrational frequencies that are able to crystallize themselves into elemental form of matter. That’s why it’s considered MIND OVER MATTER because of the ability to take sound & symbols and create materialized products through an alchemical prowess.
Most entities can’t access this physical realm without a living host. So, that’s why we have pharmaceutical companies manufacturing solutions to tap into your mind and use You against Yourself. These chemists are disingenuous in the grand scheme of things. They know it’s their job to formulate data based on clinical trials and process this data in a pharmaceutical drug to keep you distracted. It’s becoming to the point that our organically grown food are compromised with anti-antigens that slowly kill off vital nutrients in the produce which is why vessels grow their own food. About time their organics gets to your plate, it’s been stripped from its enriched contents making it half as potent than when it was first produced. This is why we need to grow our own SEEDS, but again private interests will label you as criminal because they’ve patented the subatomic formula and will apprehend you, concentrate you, or worst assassinate you. If we don’t realize monetary currencies of ANY SORT i.e. cash, digital, or liquidated precious metals is the ultimate problem, then gluttony will inevitably imprison us all.
