REUNITING HC’S:

Connor had dropped the relationship rather randomly

It was like way too sudden I mean, he legit sent you a text stating that he could no longer be with you and then ceased to respond to any messages you sent. It hurt like a lot

Part of you wanted to go over to the station and chew him out for being so vague and not even discussing what happened, but with some calm talks with your friend you opted not too

It had been at least three weeks after, till one day he came over to your house uninvited, roses in hand and a stuffed animal in another. You couldn’t help but ask him to leave and nearly tossed a cup of coffee at him till you heard his next words.

“I caught the killer.”

Cue you shoving him out of the house, mostly betrayal and anger being the strength behind you shoving him

Connor is confused™, is this normal to humans? Were u angry that he caught the killer?

Why would u be the killer after all targeted police lovers? Killed a couple of the cops spouse/boy-girl friends. He only dropped you to protect you from the same faint some cops had

The door is slammed in his face, and he can hear your sniffles he finds himself researching what was wrong with his approach

He sees that significant others don’t enjoy a) being dumped via text message and b) not being told why they broke up and just lose contact and finally c) reappearing like you didn’t just rip out there heart

Connor feels something in him, guilt is the conclusion he comes to

Gut wrenching guilt, and soon Connor finds himself begging to be let in. His LED is red and he’s panicking realizing he messed up

You won’t answer and Connor feels his mechanical heart nearly drop at the sound of you running away from the locked door

So he jumps in through a window, making note to pay for the damages before looking for you

He finds you curled up in bed, along with a mug and a television program, he remembered the show right away. You had after all submitted him to endless hours of friends one date night

As he sets his hand on your shoulder you shove it off, shifting away from him. Connor backs up unsure how to approach this

“Can I just say something?”

“You just did.” Is the harsh reply and Connor is once again rendered to utter silence

But he crawled into bed with you, wrapping arms around you as you attempt to remove him from your grip

Your attempts become pathetic, your own anger and frustration ceasing as he holds you against his chest

And then you break down, asking him why hes here, how could he do that to you. It causes the guilt in Connor to sore to new heights

He keeps forgetting that humans had feelings to certain actions, he should’ve know but he can’t catch everything bc he’s still new to emotions

So he explains himself slowly, watching as you still face away from him, expressing numerous amounts of emotions bout how he was scared.

So scared to loose you like the other cops, didn’t want to deal with the fact that it could’ve been you that was killed. He had to drop contact to save you, he’s so sorry but he needed you safe

You’re a bit hesitant, he left you without warning and despite how warming it is to hear that he just wanted to protect you, he could’ve have trusted you

So with a newly built relationship, you accept him back warning him that you’ll try to forgive and forget

Connor apologies furiously all the while

The trust between the two of you and to be rebuilt, but it’s worth it in the long run bc you two learn to become better partners

Connor expressed his deep regrets to you once in awhile, sometimes saying that you deserve a human partner who could understand

You tell him that even a human would’ve done it too, this just proves that he’s as human as it comes

Connor bathes you in a love after that, bringing in flowers and taking you to dates to make up for the misunderstanding and heartbreak he’s caused

Your trust in each other becomes stronger than it had been. With Connor being more willing to admit and talk out things in the relationship like it should be

Healthy relationships boyssss, just commitment and communication all that good shit

You’re a bit wary sometimes but Connor understands, he does all he can to show that the situation was horrible for him to do and that he’ll be better!!!

Overall just Connor learning to be a better person and you along with him!!
