it’s basically any blog i find that ships them because i want to avoid interaction. i find the ship pedophilic and creepy, and i know it’s fictional but if people say that’s why it’s okay that still means part of them is willing to excuse pedophila. as someone who was assaulted by a “creepy old guy” when i was younger (keep in mind i’m 16 so yeah even younger than that) i don’t fw that. also a guy from another country tried to convince me to marry him and deadass was ready to talk to my parents. but that’s a story for another day lmao. also most of the blogs are ran by adults who play the victim and attack teenagers for asking them to not interact; because we’re uncomfortable with seeing a teenager shipped with an adult. even if she’s aged up— if a character must be aged up for something to be acceptable that’s a big red flag and still says the shipper has looked at someone who’s underage being friends with an adult and thought “that’d be a cute couple”

it’s gross. i love the characters so much!! and i think they’re great being best friends and so close that beej is like a Chaotic Uncle to lydia but that’s it
