#my awareness of myself and my feelings & experiences is to the point where i#can feel and be aware of when my prefrontal cortex shuts down in a trauma response or i go numb or i dissociate#and removing that shame from it and allowing myself to just be has been HUGE for my healing#its seriously like breathing fresh air for the first time. the fog has gradually lifted and i feel so much more#capable in myself and love myself. freakin 3.2 gpa babyyyyy ❣️ i am so proud of myself & how much i've improved#like this is coming from a former 1.2 gpa ass student. i was severely traumatized as a child throughout my entire young-adult life &#i hadn't been letting myself feel. for a long long time.#that got in the way of school & my parents just kept enforcing no sense of self in me to keep me under their control#i experienced ego death at 15. not on anything but severe depression#it has been a heartbreaking journey full of ambiguous grief & pain but i did it. i worked hard#and im just so thankful.#im me again.#❤️🩹
