yeah, i dont really feel anything about the death of ofmd, if im being completely honest, my enjoyment of the canon of this show died a long time ago.

am i sad about what this says about queer media in general? yeah of course- if a show this popular and palatable can get cancelled like that, then no show is safe. but i cant say i personally would have watched a season 3 if it did get it either.

nothings changed for me. im gonna keep enjoying it the exact same way i have been for months, bouncing ideas with my friends, appreciating all the art everyone makes, discussing all the endless possibilities the show gave us from the start.

the show has always belonged to the fans at heart, its just ours entirely now.

how   embarrassing.   even   as   an   aspiring   actor   ,   mason   manages   to   let   that   mask   of   emotion   spill   out   for   all   to   see   ,   his   life   a   stage   where   people   constantly   watch   &   stare , waiting   to catch   his   every   movement.   this   trip   was   meant   to   be   a   treat   ━━   a   getaway   from   all   the   stress   &   fallback   that   came   from   his   break   -   up   with   brad   ,   but   somehow   ,   brad   managed   to   find   out   about   this   trip   &   follow   him   ,   regardless   of   how   clear   mason   made   it   to   him   about   their   relationship   being   over.   it   is   over   ━━   it's   been   over   for   a   while , even before they officially separated from each other.   so   then   why   is   it   when   he   sees   his   ex   making   out   with   some   random   girl   on   their   tour ,   it still manages   to   tear   at   mason's   heart   ?   the   act   of   it   was   an   offensive   sight   enough   ,   but   it's   how   brad's   eyes   met   his   the   moment   he   walked   in   ,   continuing   his   actions   despite   knowing   there   was   someone   there   ,   the   poor   woman   he   was   with   unaware.   he   set   this   up   for   mason   to   find   &   the   sight   left   mason feeling uneasy in his stomach  ,   but   also   sad   ━━   mourning   the   relationship   they   once   had.

with   a   wine   glass   still   in   hand   ,   mason   finds   a   quiet   space   away   from   their   tour   group   , desperate to allow those budding tears to spill.   he   can't   help   it   ━━   can't   help   but   allow   those   emotions   to   finally   spill   over   ,   those   feelings   building   up   for   the   past   six   months   now.   it's   not   fair.   he   was   the   one   who   ended   it   ,   he   was   the   one   who   was   finally   moving   on.   &   now   ?   now   brad   is   yanking   him   back   in   with   all   these   conflicting   emotions   &   feelings   , &   he   despises   it   so   much   ,   despises   him   too.   he   keeps   his   cries   silent   despite   his   body   aching   to   scream   ,   shaking   as   he   runs   a   hand   down   his   face   ,   the   wine   glass   still   in   his   hand   ,   splashing   around   in   his   glass. he's so distraught over everything , he doesn't even notice @gunbash approaching him , his tears slowly subsiding after a moment , doing all he can to keep his breathing even.

I just think it’s silly that so many people complain about Villain Amaya as “wasted potential” and that “we were robbed” like-

My pals, post canon fan fiction is right there. The desire to free her husband is right there. Either by touching an evil book while being too eager to remember the obsidian oil, or being possessed by contact (ie what she believes is true loves kiss) when trying to reason with him in the dungeon.

We don’t need a rewrite, we can have a continuation. Both can be true. Amaya is a complex character, she can handle it.
