#i might've discoverde something new writing my thesis. which im happy about but#IT MAKES ME SO ANXIOUS im not an academic w a doctorate i just by chance found a thing#im not ready for the academics to jump on me and either prove me wrong or quote me#like idk do not perceive me do not congratulate im shy i just fact check so much that i found a possible lost verse of an ancient greek poet#in a 1500 book quoting it#ive checked over 20 versions ni 3 languages written during a 300yr period and NONE mention those eoight verses#so like im p sure it mightve been lost to time but also i gaslight myself like 'no this cant be'
