1 & 2: Zelda is pretty pissed off that the only soldier she cannot fire does not have any formal training (straight outta the forest) AND can't even read (nor speak, took her a while to actually ask for his opinions and notice lmao). Frustrated (and secretly compassionate), she took the matter into her own hands and started teaching him to read, at night. A princess in pajamas spending time with you is pretty out of protocol and privileged, but Link couldn't care less. Also does not like that letters and signs don't match. (To cope, Zelda daydreams with just dropping Link at Ganondorf's door. To her chagrin, she know he'd be a more patient teacher.)

3. The reason why she's so serious, disciplined and annoyed at Link's lack of training is, of course, because as Sheik she's some sort of spy, led by Impa. More strong and scarred than you'd imagine, cannot safely wear short sleeved dresses anymore.

4. They spend a lot of time together, which has led to a circumstantial bond. This is the worst job Link has ever had, despite Zelda saving him from shoveling horse manure. Link would tell her his thoughts if Zelda knew enough sign language, or if she ever stopped talking.

On behalf of my family trapped in the Waste Late dystopia of Gaza, I would like to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for donating to my family EVACUATION campaign.

Sadly, the situation in Gaza continues to worsen, especially with plans to invade the center of Gaza and to displace a million people to the south again in such harsh conditions.

We have extended our goal to cover food, water, and basic essentials while my family remains trapped in these catastrophic conditions.

Took me a bit of engineering to make the pieces work. It has been a challenge but turned out ok :D. If someone's interested I could put it up for sale, but I'm not too optimistic 🤔

"Cursed garlic seller" - Character design speedpaint #1

Made a lil speedpaint to practise character design.

He’s a castaway sailor with a cursed item (bag of garlic) and he’s desperately trying to get rid of it. Heavily inspired by the most dramatic seller I saw at the street bazaar this morning (”Take this away from me!!! Save me from the garlic!!”) of course, I had to buy the cursed item. +🧄

I've been playing Valheim nonstop and I had to doodle what I saw. There's something about being in kind of a purgatory land being the lone human surrounded by beasts and one night you see a cloaked figure in the distance just watching you. And that's Odin. And you're wondering why did he put me here, and why does he show up now that I finally settled down and I'm fine with existing alone?

hey, do you have any advice for selling traditional artwork, especialy paintings? ive been creating lots of (quite large) oil paintings for fun and to share online but im now looking into selling tham and it all seems rather intimidating. do you have any tips for how to advertise/ set the price/ for shipping?

Hii! Thanks for reaching out ^^ I'll try to be helpful:

It heavily depends on your situation. I live in Spain, where less than 1M€ is spent yearly on art (we study this in sociology of art haha).

That means that I've never managed to sell anything more expensive than original watercolours.

What I have sold is small oil paintings (max 30×30cm), I've shipped them to the USA in bubble mailers even. I include the shipping costs in the price too, it's not as noticeable as when buying any other kind of item. (The luxury of selling a luxury item, if you'll allow a pun)

I've also sold digital prints of my biggest artworks because friends and acquaintances from abroad wanted it on a custom size for their homes. That might be an interesting option for you.

The only way I've sold a big piece (I'm talking 80×60cms) was in exhibitions I've set up myself in community centers. (And abroad, with the cost of taking it there)

If you paint on canvas you could try rolling it and asking for shipping prices on the tube, it would be way cheaper than my case since I paint on wood BUT requires the buyer to set up the canvas or pay for someone to do it.

Please let me know your experiences too and what you paint, I'm always happy to meet other artists :D
