“Flynn? You failed to mention the artifact we are looking for is on an island full of dinosaurs!”

“Well there were rumors but I didn’t think they were real!”

“Great! So now we are stranded in a Guardian’s worst nightmare because you failed to research something for the first time in your life!”

“Pish posh. Jenkins will-“

“Will what? You mean the same Jenkins that we were separated from when we got here? The one who is also stranded on this dinosaur infested island with us? That Jenkins?”

“I see you are upset.”

Y’all have no idea how insufferable I will be when I get to see Jacob Stone on screen again.

My brain: what if Jacob Stone got possessed and had to deal with the fallout of his actions even when he wasn’t in control but he still feels responsible for what he did or even better it’s a situation where he cannot be unpossessed and can only lock it away in his own body and it’s a metaphor for his emot-

Me: this is why we can’t sleep

I am speechless. I never thought about this before. I-wow-I never thought of this and yet it seems so obvious. Especially with the undertones in the show with Autism. Wow. You got me anon. You got me. (Honestly everyone in the show could be on the spectrum when you get around to dissecting the show)

Okay I don’t know if anyone else has said it yet but like, I watched shadow and bone and it would take minimal effort to insert the leverage team in this universe.

So I promise I’m working on those edits but like I also started Almost Paradise and like...I’m not feeling it so far? I just...don’t have the instant serotonin I get from The Librarians? Idk maybe I need to watch more episodes, but Alex isn’t as endearing as Eliot. And no where near Jacob level serotonin. What do y’all think?

I was tagged by @fantastikitty7 to list my top ten favorite characters and I must say it’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these so thanks for the tag! (Also since the Librarians characters will take up the whole list I’m going to branch out on my fandoms this time)

Don’t get me wrong, I love that Leverage is coming back, but I really miss not having new episodes of The Librarians.

Oh okay, so I didn’t post that Umbrella Academy and Librarians au idea.

A Leverage reboot...with Noah Wyle...um...as someone running a Librarians fan blog I cannot ignore the fact that this is just coming full circle in Leverage and The Librarians being the same show/taking place in the same universe.

Another shapeshifter of some kind that instead of mimicking people it switches shapes with its victim. The slower shifting is compensated for by not risking being interrupted by the original who is stuck in the shifters original form. Of course, when the clippings book sends them to investigate, the librarians split up while looking for the (as yet unidentified) being… (I'm sure you can guess where this is heading.)

!!!!! Yes tell me more!!!! I love this idea!!! Very good fic idea!!! How would it go? Would the shapeshifter have time to replace themselves before they met back up? Or would they wait and switch when the person went home or was alone for the night? And when would that person realize they either weren’t looking or weren’t feeling right? Like let’s say the shapeshifter looked extra noticeably different, like Mystique from XMen or something, so they are working and then realize, “hey my hand has scales now so that’s not normal.” Plus it would be interesting who it was and how they dealt with it, especially since the shapeshifter would probably kidnap them to switch places. But if they didn’t kidnap them first then I think they each would have interesting reactions to the situation. Like Eve would handle it well I think. She would freak out at first but then calmly assess the situation and go to Jenkins for help if she had the chance. Flynn would probably be fascinated and would want to study himself tbh before he told anyone. I think Ezekiel would casually bring it up in conversation like, “so I have scales on my hands and we should probably address that.” I think ever since the werewolf incident he would be honest about this stuff. Cassandra would be in between Flynn and Eve on reaction, I believe. She would want to study herself but would also realize she needed help from Jenkins. And Jacob, well, I’m not sure. He seems to handle magical transformation well when he is mind controlled, but once he breaks the mental fog of it, seems a little stressed (example being Tears of a Clown). He’d probably freak out quite a bit and immediately want a cure, but would try frantically looking for one himself until he had to go to Jenkins. And if Jenkins had it happen to him then he would just be done and probably know exactly what was happening, and if he didn’t would somehow figure out how to fix it because he’s Jenkins. And what if the shapeshifter saw them before the clippings book went off and they investigated? What if they slowly started the process before then when it was least noticeable? Ah As you can see a very exciting concept!!! Anyways I guess I rambled! Sorry! But this is such a good idea and let me know if you ever write it because it sounds lovely!!! Thank you!!!!

Idk if I mentioned it before but That moment when you dream that Cassandra and Jacob were possessed by Greek gods that want to rule the world. Except that those gods were Ares and Aphrodite and that they accidentally possessed the wrong ones. So Cassandra was possessed by the god of war and Jacob by the goddess of love. They eventually switched towards the end of the dream but I def won’t underestimate Aphrodite’s cunning and ruthlessness. Anyways it was a weird dream.
