Pretty please

You were tired. To be fair everyone was. A tour is a great achievement and it's super fun but it's also a lot of responsability, a lot of running around, some techinal difficulties that need to be fixed on the spot... It's just a LOT. And of course who knew that better than WEi themselves.

Excitment took over as soon as you knew you got to tag along, to be able to go to places you've never been before with some of your closest friends and your sweet boyfriend. Obviously you volunteered to help out in any way possible, you felt horrible just by the thought of becoming a dead weight. Sure this is leasure but you don't intend to push any boundaries it would be disrespectful to say the least.

But so far so good, putting aside all the stress of course, you couldn't have asked for better. Seeing them on stage was somehow very rewarding, even if you weren't apart of the official team, even if you don't work for them or with them, you've always admired how passionate and dedicated the guys were. And it translates on stage, it's crystal clear that they were born to be on stage.

Another day, another city, another killer show. Paired with amazing outfits, it's not like they're not always amazing but these are new ones. As in they will be wearing them to promote the b-side of their next album, but they decided to surprise RUi by performing it for them. Well them and you.

Daehyeon hadn't mentioned any of this to you, intentionally, because you're a RUi after all, but also his girlfriend. Your brain simply could not function once he stepped out of the changing room, the transparent mesh fabric was giving you a lot to think about. Everyone in the room could see your drooling, some laughed, some scoffed but you had completely blacked out.

After a good few seconds you came back to earth, realizing the man you so desired was looking at you with that smug face you so "hate". He didn't approach you, didn't talk to you, nothing. He was leaving you to suffer all alone, pretending he knows nothing. Typical Daehyeon.

One of the many perks of this tour is you had a room all to yourselves and that meant privacy for once. But with the shows Daehyeon was exhausted and when he wasn't he would decide to work on unfinished projects. There was always time for cuddling because he can't fall asleep without you in his arms, however that was it, which you're not complaining about but your body is. You crave him so bad and apart of you feels guilty about it, he's about to step on stage to finalize another successeful concert and you can't stop thinking about kissing him all over.

They went back up while you stood on the sidelines watching them give everything they got left. But someone looked renergized, like they hadn't just performed for a whole hour. He was enjoying your suffering while giving you the silence treatment and you know what that means. He only does this when he wants you to make the first move, he wants you to tell him you want him. That you need him.

Usually your dynamic consists of the "push and pull" which makes things very exciting and fun for the both of you, but given the fact you were completely blindsided there was no way you could win whatever was going on.

Ending ment came around which meant it was time to get things ready to leave, you made yourself busy trying to keep your mind distracted. As you were packing up their clothes someone pulled you out of the room, dragging you into the changing rooms.

"What are you doing?", your body was completely laid flat against the mirror, the cold surface making your skin tingle slightly.

"I don't know, what do you think I'm doing?" His words were smooth and seductive making you feel dizzy so much so you almost let out whimper. He noticed and decided to use it to his advantage.

"See, you can't lie to me, every part of you wants me as much as I want you."

"Daehyeon do you want to get caught??!!! Cause I don't!!"

"Then why are you pressing your thighs together, hmmm? Be a doll for me and turn around."

You didn't want to, merely for the sake of being a brat, but you couldn't deny you needed his touch. Arms around your waist, he was looking at you through the mirror, slowly making it's way to your hair placing it on your left side. He was so close to your ear you could hear him breath.

"Do you see that ?", his hands go down again to play with your nipples, "Do you want me?"

You let your head fall on his shoulder, making direct eye contact with him.

only a week has passed ever since you've found out that junseo, your boyfriend of three years, had been seeing someone else behind your back for two months. a deep exhale left your lips as your eyes stared blankly through the window. were you really that bad of a partner? did you not satisfy him enough that he had to look elsewhere? there had to be a reason on why the person you've sworn your life to, has ended up betraying you in the worst way ever.

"still thinking about that idiot?" the voice of your roommate rang through your ears, seemingly snapping you out of your thoughts for a split of a second. you turned around, your eyes meeting the figure of seokhwa, who had been standing by the doorframe and watching you. "he doesn't deserve your tears," the male hummed gently as he sat hinself besides you, his slender fingers reaching out to brush through your hair.

"but what if i did something wrong?" was the only thing you blurted in response as your head turned back to the window. junseo should've told you instead of sneaking behind your back, you thought. all that you were met with was seokhwa's sigh, as he settled himself down to sit besides you. "you did nothing wrong. you're incredible, honest and a fighter. i admire you a lot, you cannot give up that easily."

he remembered the eventful night you've found out, the way you came home soaking wet from the rain, a ruined bouquet of flowers in your hands and your beautiful eyes shining from the tears that had spilled out. he remembered dropping whatever he was doing and rushing to your side, his slender arms snaking their way around your figure. and then he remembered when you told him. it was your third year anniversary with junseo so you went to his home to surprise him, only to find him shamelessly on the couch with a stunning woman you've never seen before.

and junseo remembered it too. the week after the breakup was the toughest time he had ever went through, but he had no one to blame but himself. being stressed due to his job brought him to a state of what seemed like losing a touch with reality for a split moment, seeing as he ended up betraying you, the person whom he had loved the most. he had hated the woman for seducing him, he hated you for finding out — but he mostly hated himself for hurting and losing you. you deserved better, he knew it; and yet he refused to let go. what if he'd try to get a second chance? no, you'd probably think he is crazy and kick him out.

but he wanted you to hear him out, so now he stood outside of your apartment building, hopeful gaze in his eyes. but soon it has vanished once he looked up, seeing you and seokhwa sharing a tender kiss by the window. he knew seokhwa had feelings for you, you two were practically inseperable. but he never acted on his own feelings due to the fact that you were dating junseo. but now he guessed that the other had finally confessed, and that you slipped out of his life forever.

You glance up from your phone, not surprised to see Daehyeon still glued to his computer screen. His glasses were practically touching the screen—hand dancing around the desk with the mouse under it. You didn’t mind the constant clicks or the music leaking from his headphones. You enjoyed just being in the same room with him. However, it had been hours since words were exchanged between the two of you.

You sighed, pushing yourself up—away from the fluffy pillows that decorated the gray couch. You brought yourself behind his cushioned chair, wrapping your arms around it and his chest, pulling him away from his work.

“As much as I appreciate your work ethic, I think it’s time you pay attention to your boyfriend~ and take a break.” Finally, he spun his chair around to face you, offering a nod and a smile.

The two of you settled into the couch—this time you opted to lay your head on his lap instead of the pillows. Letting your legs hang off the couch, you looked up at him, a little shy now that he was so close. He played with your hair, explaining the concept of the music he was producing now. You enjoyed moments like these. Late night conversations in his studio were memories only the two of you shared together.

Daehyeon stared down at you, his eyes going from the top of your face to the very bottom—almost like he was trying to memorize every detail of it. You flushed under his stare, pushing him away playfully.

“You never finished what you were saying.” He chuckled at your dodging, pulling you even closer to him.

“You just distract me. You’ve rendered me speechless, I forgot what I was saying.” He watched as you brought your hands to your face, smiling when you shook your head in embarrassment. “I love when you spend time here, (Y/n). Really. Just knowing you’re here and feeling your presence makes me work with ease.”

Your (e/c) eyes meet his. He offers knowing look, telling you wordlessly that you didn’t have to answer. Instead, you bury your head into his side, muttering a small “I love you.”

your focus was on your phone while your boyfriend sat beside you. every now and then he’d be uttering a string of apologies to which you’d only respond with a hum. a simple mistake of him forgetting to buy an item you asked him to buy that day led to a sulky mood that had been going on and on for almost an hour. he couldn’t do one final run for it as the store that sells it was already closed by that time.

“i’ll buy it tomorrow,” daehyeon said, scooting closer to you as he clung to your arm to which he earned a glare. it seemed like he didn’t mind it though since he still had himself close to you.

another wave of silence dropped by the room, with you continuously ignoring the other while daehyeon just settled to be sitting beside you, his head now resting on your shoulder.

such didn’t last for so long. as your stomach had the silliest way to break it. it rumbled and daehyeon would have probably chuckled, only if you weren’t in such a sulky mood.

but that wasn’t enough to stop him from lifting your arm and placing it over his shoulder. his hand wrapped around your waist, something that caused you to be dragged up when he stood.

“let’s eat outside,” daehyeon said. “i’ll buy you food.”

even with a frown evident in your countenance, you followed him. well, you weren’t exactly the type to be able to hold such a mood around your boyfriend— daehyeon knew ways to melt it away. “anything?”

daehyeon nodded as a reply before verbally confirming. “yes, anything you want.”

“okay.” you dropped your hand down and daehyeon was quick to catch it, his fingers soon interlaced with yours as he peppered your cheek with kisses. a little ticklish that it made a faint smile break out of your visage. you turned to look at him, feigning yet again another frown. “i’m still mad at you though.”

but it probably wasn’t as convincing as you wished it to be.

“sure you are.” his eyes curved into crescents as chuckles slipped past through his lips. unable to hold it, a soft kiss was planted on your lips.

summary: you watch the boy who should not be able to physically run on all-nighters and energy drinks spend his night on music production, and notice there's still an unexpected light left in his eyes. and you realize, that the same one resides in yours too.

You sat quietly on the couch of the recording studio, occasionally glancing upwards from the book you were reading to look up at the absolute madman that was Jang Daehyeon, who paused for one second to take a sip of Sprite. It was a privilege to be able to stay in the studio, you attributed it to the fact that you were relatively quiet, and usually there for support.

It's been a long night for both of you, and the thought of sleep was probably enticing him, but you were well aware of how busy he was.

But you definitely could not chastise him for being a workaholic—today you had finished a presentation for your computer science course, clocked in for your shift at the local cafe, and began to review some new choreography for your college's upcoming talent festival. At this point, you considered rereading Marie Lu books your idea of relaxation. Hey, what works, works.

The two of you were one and the same in your habit (and largely a necessity for Daehyeon) to spend the long hours of the night doing whatever the hell it was you had to do. Finish up a dance you were having trouble with before sleeping? You'd do it, and if he was in your position, he would do the same.

You looked at Daehyeon again, eyes softening as you thought about the extra burden he had to carry as a leader, producer and member of an idol group. There were indeed many things he had to do, at times without thanks. I'll be sure to tell him that he's doing well later.

Later, he turned to you and played the demo he was presumably working on for the night, an exhausted but evident smile on his face. "I mean, I'll probably revise it soon."

You returned it easily, genuinely impressed at how he could do so much. "Your melodies never fail."

He turns away slightly, with a slightly embarrassed look. "Every time I make a song, I always wonder if it'll work out. If I've worked hard enough and my efforts will be recognized—" he pauses, "—but I'm just grateful to do what I love."

Damn, if there was someone who you rooted for no matter what, it was him. You hoped he was going to understand what you're about to say already, but regardless, you wanted to reiterate it.

"You film so much stuff during the day and then work so damn hard for all these nights. Who knows, shit may not work out, but there's no denying that you put a lot of effort into what you do, and seeing you has inspired me too. I hope you know I'm here, even when I have crazy hours at the dance studio, I promise there's time for us."

Daehyeon watches you talking with the most determined look on your face. It was the look of someone who would stand on his side through whatever happened in life.

He chuckled slightly. "Is someone actually being sentimental? But really, you know I appreciate you and your support. Thank you for being there to encourage me. I see you too, always determined to do more, practicing and practicing. You practically glow when you dance. You work as hard as I do."

Even just standing in a room with him gave you both encouragement, and it was like this from the day you met him and helped him with a new choreography, two sparks lighting a fire that burned bright enough to ignite the world.

You heard a soft knock at the door and opened it. The delivery food you had ordered earlier finally arrived.

"Shall we?" You said, double-checking the receipt one last time to make sure everything was there. He nodded, grabbing almost all the noodles first.

The two of you grinned and sat down on the couch to eat. For him, there was still work to be done, but it was okay to enjoy this moment of relaxation, with the light and laughter in both of your eyes illuminating the studio.

So this was an idea bouncing in my head for a little while, I sat down to actually write it at night. Not going to lie, it was a little quick and might not be my best, but thank you to whomever reads it. I remember the producer of Fuze posted about how hardworking Daehyeon is and his dedication to idol life + music production. It reminded me of the people I've seen around me, and how we drive each other to work hard each day, and yet remind ourselves to rest a little. I thought of sparks (because I really enjoy Fuze as a song), so the concept is there. I'm still not satisfied with the title but the idea is there.

Sleepless nights

You can't lie, being this long without hugging or kissing your boyfriend was starting to drive you a little bit crazy. You're both very good at long distance when the time comes but it doesn't mean it's easy.

Fortunately he always made some time to talk to you whether that be early morning or late night. You honestly don't care if he calls you and wakes you up you're more than glad to pick up, his voice making your heart beat a little bit faster, his sweet words causing a slight pink tint to crawl up your cheeks.

He loves to see you like that, messy hair, glassy eyes, slightly bloated face. His heart aches a little every time you pick up the call and he can't just kiss you all over your beautiful face. He just wished you could come with him to every single concert because falling asleep without you keeps getting worse each night, he doesn't know if he's starting to develop insomnias or his heart just refuses to work without his other half.

Another day passes and your busy life finally stops for a while giving you some free time to check up on Daehyeon.

a/n: a short break from the fic i’m writing bcs . jang daehyeon 

it’s just daehyeon’s family. you thought to yourself, heart beating rather too uncontrollably in your chest as if at any moment it will run away. the idea was not much of a help, because well, it was daehyeon’s family that you were meeting. what if they ended up not liking you? what if they suddenly ask their son to break up with you? what if—

a hand crawled on your skin, daehyeon interlaced his fingers with yours and gave your hand a gentle squeeze. “they will love you,” he reassured, a smile appearing on his countenance. “i’m here, so don’t worry, okay?”

his words worked like magic, easing you a little, though not completely. it was your first time to meet his family, none of them having an idea that you were dating him. it wasn’t like the two of you were keeping your relationship a secret. the only reason was that you just started being in an official relationship with him a few days ago following how your office mates had pushed the two of you to finally confess to each other after a long time of having mutual feelings with only the other party unaware. it was a little embarrassing at first, but there was no regret in voicing out your feelings as now, you get to be with daehyeon as much as you liked.

daehyeon led you inside. he’d been eager to introduce you to his parents, telling you how they would like you, how his mom would probably relate with some of your interests, and so on. 

as you stepped inside the house, instead of his parents, you were welcomed by one of his younger cousins. it seemed like some of his other relatives were there as well. something that swiftly dragged back the worry in your senses, your thoughts slightly tensing you up.

“guide y/n to the living room, please?” he asked his cousin and gave the kid a pat on the head before going upstairs to prepare your evening accommodation.

you’d ask daehyeon to stay only if your own voice didn’t decide to betray you at the last moment. with a thumping heart, daehyeon’s cousin who was around five as you assumed, held your hand with his own tiny ones and walked you to the living room which revealed a middle-aged couple and an old couple who you supposed were daehyeon’s parents and grandparents. all of them sitting on the couch, your arrival seemingly stopped them from their chats. his younger cousin left you to play with the other kids in the backyard.

the house wasn’t that big, but it was spacious enough to have a few people inside. the walls were painted beige, the floor wooden. picture frames decorating the shelves to which you guessed photographs of young daehyeon were displayed along with some family pictures.

“you must be the person daehyeon was talking about,” daehyeon’s mother said, her voice welcoming. a little aid to brush away the growing stiffness you had out of anxiousness. 

“are you perhaps, daehyeon’s girlfriend?” the elderly woman asked, gesturing you to sit down on an empty space on the sofa.

before you could answer the question, a hand braced yours. daehyeon standing proud next to you, his visage decorated with a radiant smile. “yes, meet y/n, my girlfriend.” his lips soft on your cheek as he punctuated his sentence with a light peck that opened the cage of butterflies in your stomach. 

“it’s a pleasure to meet you, y/n.” daehyeon’s mother said, approaching you to give you a short hug, an act which was followed by the other parently figure of your boyfriend. “feel at home.”

the two of you sat on the couch, daehyeon’s hand not leaving yours. it wasn’t that hard to go along with the conversation that began since most of it revolved around how you and daehyeon met and how you ended up dating. his parents would remark how it was kind of the same as theirs. 

halfway his mother musing about some kind of story from daehyeon’s childhood, daehyeon rested his head on your shoulder, whispering an “i told you, they’ll love you.”

and the warm welcome you received from his family was enough proof.

You were a little nervous for tonight, it was a big moment. WEi are having a company dinner and you got to tag along with your boyfriend. It was so cold you had no idea what to wear and you needed advice. So the only logical thing to do was call Daehyeon.

Knowing what he was gonna wear did indeed make it better for you. So the move was a 2 piece set, you’ve been styling it in your head for a couple of weeks now but never actually wore it. Now it was the perfect time, you were sure the dark grey set would match with the one your boyfriend is wearing. You were also certain he would love the sight provided by the skirt part of the set, he’s always very vocal about how much he loves your legs.

You had done your hair already so you quickly got dressed. Looking in the mirror you couldn’t not congratulate yourself for this purchase. The smokey eye look was definetly the right choice but it’s always a “trust the process moment”. 

Putting your favourite boots on you quickly open the texts to send a quick “omw” to Daehyeon, you weren’t late or anything but your outfit was incomplete. You needed a tie to finish it off but you didn’t own one and obviously a house full of guys has to have one hiding somewhere.

You made your way to the nearest subway station with your headphones in, playing your favourite artist. The subway didn’t take long and when it stopped you could see your reflection in the door windows, you lightly chuckled knowing you looked good. The whole way to the dorms you kept thinking how your boyfriend would react if there’s something you love doing is make him speechless.

After a 5 minute ride you were off to their place, giddy, thrilled to say the least. You had never felt like this before maybe all this time apart from each other was giving you butterflies again. Like you were meeting again for the first time. Still walking you pulled your phone out your winter jacket double texting Daehyeon to let you in, there’s no way you’d wait outside for him to open the door. Thankfully he saw it in the moment and opened the door for you. 

The walk up the stairs had your legs weak and you couldn’t tell if it was because you were nervous, out of shape or both. You shook any anxious thoughts out your head and proceeded to make your way to their apartment door. And lucky you someone was already waiting for you. You were still a little far away but from a previous call you could tell who it was given the description of their outfit. The closer you got the better you could see his face and by the end of your journey you could tell someone was drooling indeed. 

You once again chuckled expecting the expression but not being able to take it fully due to shyness.

Y/N: Did the cat get your tongue?

Daehyeon: Dalli is a very good girl we raised her right, she wouldn’t do such thing! But you would...

His words exued lust and playfulness and all of the sudden you were no longer the one laughing. Any time he makes such remarks it leaves you distraut and nervous in a good way. He loves you so much he never hesitates to make it clear.

Y/N: Are you going to let me in or not? I still need to borrow a tie from you.

Daehyeon: A tie? we have places to be no time to play around.

You lightly slapped his arm as a way of shushing him and he gave you that beautiful smile of his. If you weren’t admant on getting the last accessory you’d let yourself melt in his arms. With his hand on your lower back both of you made your way inside and since you still had a little bit of time everyone was in the process of getting ready. You took you shoes and jakcet off leaving it at the entrance and on a mission you were.

Scared someone was in the room you knocked making sure Seokhwa wasn’t dressing himself in the room and after getting no response you opened the door. To your surprise someone was in the room your favourite person in the world, Dalli. She meowed as a little “hello” and you swore you probably missed her more than anyone in this place, she was always your napping partner you never forget those. 

Dismissing your child for a while you searched for the hot issue of today and you did find many of them, black, red even bow ties, however the hard part wasn’t chosing one but actually tying it. But Daehyeon came to the rescue, letting Dalli escape to find someone to play with.

Daehyeon: So do you need me or...?

Y/N: Why do I feel like that can mean 2 very different things?

Approaching you, slowly grabbing the black tie from your hands, he had his eyes on yours.

Daehyeon: I always knew my pretty girl was smart so you tell me.

Y/N: I knew you’d like the clothes but this much? even I’m surprised.

Daehyeon: More than the clothes I like you.

You could’ve sworn someone had turned the heating on, because the mix of his honey laced words and his actions, making the tie tighter and tigher with every single breath was making your legs squeez together. You mentally cursed yourself and this stupid formal dinner because if it was for you’d stay in the comfort of your lover’s touch.

Daehyeon: I see someone flew over to dreamland, do I really have this much affect on you?

Y/N: Don’t ask questions you already know the answer to.

Daehyeon: But what if I want to hear it from you, what if I want to hear my angel say it?

Since he was done with the tie his hands were on your hips squeezing little by little, knowing damn well you were hanging by a thin thread. If there’s someone that knows what buttons to push it’s him. At this point you were ready to give in.

And with your silence he took it upon himself to make you speak or at least moan, lowly. His lips on your neck and your hands on his chest you were both getting lost in the moment so much so you hadn’t been paying attention to the time leaving someone to interrupt this little taste of paradise. A simple knock and you were yelling “JUST A MINUTE”.

Your much loved boyfriend laughed and made eye contact with you once again.

Daehyeon: I’ll leave you to yourself for a few minutes, but I’ll be thinking about you... in the car, during dinner, and every moment inbetween. Can’t wait to have you all by myself by the end of this.

With that he left the room, leaving you shocked and deseperate, craving for more and very excited for what the night had waiting for you.

Author’s Note: This will tie in with the scenario I wrote on how WEi members are in this same situation. It’s gonna end in a very happy note ;).

Today was an exciting day, it was finally your birthday. Most people don’t do anything, neither do you but today was a big day you’re turning 25. You can’t let time pass by you and not enjoy it so after much thinking you invited some of your favourite friends out to a club. It’s not your number 1 choice but you know it’s a place where most people like to go and it’s not like you’re staying the entire night. 

There was a dress code for everyone, fancy attire only. The whole country needs to know this is a special occasion. And because you’re the birthday girl you told everyone to not wear black cause that’s what you’re wearing.

Music was playing in the background to set the mood, while you sat on the ground using your full lenght mirror to assist you in the process of you doing your makeup. “Got me in chains” was currently on and the mood was already building, tonight was going to be a good one. In the midst of you doing a smokey eye your doorbell rings, you look at the clock above your mirror and realise it must be your beloved boyfriend.

You walked to the front door wearing nothing more than an oversized hoodie, one that so happened to belong to the person waiting for someone to let him in. You opened the door slowly making sure it was exactly who you were thinking about and it was. Daehyeon showed up to your door already dressed up in his suit, it was a sight to see truly, you almost drooled looking him up and down. And you weren’t slick either, he definetly noticed.

Daehyeon: So are you gonna let me in or keep staring?

Y/N: I don’t know I just might admire you for a little longer after all it’s not every day I get to my really hot boyfriend become hotter in a suit.

Your tone was a playful one and anyone could tell by the smirk you had on. Daehyeon knew how much you loved to see him in a suit and especially one with a vest underneath. It’s his princesses birthday he wanted to look his best and knowing your looks he definetly needs to be on the same level as you.

Daehyeon: I’m glad you like it but it’s really cold actually just let me in ahah.

You let him in and close the door right after, you turned around to face your guest and you can tell he hadn’t seen your lounging outfit yet. You smiled to yourself and decided to mess with him.

Y/N: Looks like I’m not the only one who likes to stare.

Daehyeon: In my defense I haven’t seen you in my things in a while.

Y/N: I know we’ve been so busy lately buuuut now that you’re here you get to see me finish my make up c’mon.

You grabbed him by the end and proceeded to walk back to your room, you sat on the floor right where you were and he sat himself on your bed. He never told you this but he absolutely loves seeing you do your make up. There’s somethig about seeing you so concentrated and getting all dolled up, it gets harder for him to resist you, not that he wants to.

After a few minutes you finish your look and since your hair is already straightened the next step was your outfit. You got up and walked to your closet to pull out your dress and shoes. You left your room to go to the bathroom to finish getting ready but in the end you needed help so you went back to your boyfriend to rescue you.

Y/N: Daehyeon can you zip me up?

He was on your phone playing dj so when he looked at you his jaw dropped, damn did you look stunning. He did what you asked him to, followed by his hand tracing lines on top of your arm.

Daehyeon: I can’t get enough of you.

That little comment made you blush and those times are rare, not with him of course. Every comment he gives you hits you right in the heart. You wrapped your arms around his waist and kissed him softly.

Y/N: Good I’d like it to stay that way.

As you finished your sentence he pulled a box from underneath the bed. You were confused to where that came from.

Y/N: When did you put that there?? I cleaned not to long ago that wasn’t there.

Daehyeon: I asked Seokhwa to leave it here next time he came over ahaah It’s your birthday gift, here I hope you like it.

He handed you the box the bright red box, you stared at him while undoing the ribbon not believing you didn’t suspect a thing. You were definetly gonna talk to Seokhwa about this. You opened the box to reveal a pretty and sparkly tiara, you chuckled not believing what’s infront of you. You had mentioned in a conversation that you wanted a tiara for your bday but it was more of a joking thing. You’re still in awe when Daehyeon grabs the tiara to place it on you, he very carefully puts it on your head while fixing your hair. He turned you around so you could face the mirror and appreciate how good you look.

Daehyeon: Now my princess has what’s been missing all this time.

Y/N: It’s so pretty thank you really.

Daehyeon: I’m glad you like it but it’s not over.

He reached for his pocket and handed you a tiny pink box, you were in pure shock that you’re being spoiled by the love of your life. Sure it’s your birthday but having him with you it’s enough of a gift. You opened the box and almost immediately became teary eyed. It was a necklace, one that fits your style. It was a chain but on the thinner side with a heart in the middle and about the size of a choker.

You turned back around to look at your boyfriend, words pilling up on your threat and tears threatning to ruin your full face. He grabbed the necklace and put it on you being cautious to not pull any of your hairs.

Daehyeon: It looks better than I thought it would. Now we’re matching.

He roled up his sleeve to show his new bracelet on his wrist. it was the exact same as your necklace. It was so much to process but you were so thankful to have someone like him love you.

Y/N: You really left me speechless, I can’t thank you enough. I love you.

Daehyeon: I love you too, now hurry we’re late.

Y/N: You mean fashionably late ahah.

You giggled and Daehyeon kissed the top of your head. You both headed off to the restaurant still in time and since the drive was 10 minutes there was nothing to be worried about.

After two and a half hours the dinner ended, with everyone more than satisfied and excited for what’s to come. The mood was truly pefect and you couldn’t be happier, cloud 9 was just around the corner. You suggested leaving since it was already midnight and you knew no one wanted to leave the club later than 3am. The ride there was really fun, you and Daehyeon were commenting on some funny moments that have been happening through out the night one being yohan spilling water on himself.

You reached your destination while putting your heels back on, you opened the door and Daehyeon helped you out of the car. You were indeed being treated like royalty but it’s not like he isn’t always a gentleman with you. If you don’t know him he really comes across as intimidating and cold but you're so lucky to know all his other sides. 

Time was currently 2am, you were having the greatest time of your life, dancing around, taking pictures, even making new friends. You stopped counting how many girls wished you a happy birthday, drunk or sober every single one of them made sure to congratulate you.

The bar was less busy so you decided to go get another drink, you told everyone in case anyone would look for you and off you were to quench your thirst. You ordered a rum and coke and the bartender even gave you a free tequila shot after realising by your tiara that was a special day. You were laughing with her and getting to know each other when another guy jumped in the convo. You love meeting new people and since you were in such a good mood the more the merrier. The convo kept going but now without the bartender since she had to go back to work, you wouldn’t say this is the most intriguing talk you’ve ever had but you also didn’t want to be rude since he wasn’t doing anything wrong. Until he did.

He put his arm around your shoulders and you kindly took it off, stating you were in a relationship and a really happy one. He became defensive calling you names and stating that if you really had a boyfriend he’d be next to you.

Your boyfriend was wondering what was taking so long, probably another drunk person was congratulating you, but he thought it was best to go find you. And that’s when he found you accompanied by a dude. He saw him trying to make moves on you and the jealousy took the best of him.

Blood was boiling and the alcohol made you even more blunt than ususal, you were about to insult the living shit out of that man when Daehyeon showed up.

Daehyeon: Is there a problem?

Y/N: There is, this douchebag really thinks he can just insult whoever the fuck he wants.

Daehyeon: I think you should apologise to my girlfriend.

Immediately the guy became more silent, realising you weren’t just giving an excuse cause you weren’t into him and scared for his life due to the look daehyeon was giving him. He apologised and ran away as fast as he could. You sighed thinking men are just pathetic.

Y/N: I had it under control but thank you for stepping in.

Daehyeon: I can’t just not do anything, I trust you I just don’t trust other guys.

Y/N: Well that’s something we have in common.

Daehyeon: I knew everyone was gonna be begging for your attention but doesn’t mean I like that idea.

Y/N: Oh someone is jealous!! 

The music playing was setting the perfect mood for what you had in mind. Since your lover was feeling this way... might as well take advantage of it. You kissed him on the cheek and gave him a devilish smirk while you went back to the dance floor. He stayed back knowing exactly what was about to go down, while rolling his eyes someone tapped his shoulder.

Bartender: Here you go it’s on the house, she can’t be easy ahah.

He laughed knowing she had talked to you enough to understand how palyful you were. He downed the shot not even thinking twice while staring back at you dancing. The dress became shorter and shorter as you moved and he was sure you knew this too. He couldn’t take it anymore so he went up to you and whispered in your ear:

“I know you’re having fun but I want to take you home and continue the celebration”

That’s all you needed to hear, in a matter of seconds you said goodbye to everyone asking fo them to warn you when they got home. The night wasn’t over it was actually about to begin.

Monday morning

The clock marked 2:30pm, so you had once again slept through all your alarms. You hit yourself mentally because you told yourself you were gonna get up earlier than your boyfriend so you could bring him breakfast in bed, do something nice for him since he’s been working really hard.

You kept rumbling to yourself as you went down the stairs, lecturing your own brain to jump start you bright and early tomorrow but as you started to make a very strict night routine for today someone interrupted your thoughts.

Daehyeon was at the end of the stairs with a tray full of food.

Daehyeon: I take you don’t want breakfast in bed then?

Y/N: WHAT?! That was my idea!! I was gonna do that!!

Daehyeon: I’m sorry i stole your idea but I’ve been awake for 5 hours now ahah.

You grabbed the tray and went back to your room followed by your very smiley boyfriend. He just couldn’t hide how cute he thought you were, trying so hard to break your own habits to do something nice for him. He knows you always sleep late and he never dared to even think about waking you up, he doesn’t mind waking up hours earlier because he knows you're getting your much deserved rest. You’re both night owls but he tends to fall asleep way faster than you, most times he can feel you tossing and turning and he feels bad so he tries to cuddle you as a way of comforting and pushing all worries away. 

You set the food next to your nightstand and made Daehyeon lay beside you under the covers. Everything was 100000x times better when you had him around, he always gives you space when you need it cause he knows you can feel a little overwhelmed, he takes care of you when you stress over your issues, loves to make himself helpful even with little things like drying your hair after the shower. You loved him with every cell of your being even if he’d laugh at such remark, he’d believe you. He knows how much he means to you even if you think you’re horrible at letting it show, he reads right through you and you're thankful for that, thankful that he loves you for all that you are.

Time was passing while the both of you just shared little smiles and compliments to each other, making such a generic monday morning seem as special as the moment you both confessed to one another.

Daehyeon: Aren’t you gonna eat?? the coffee is getting cold.

Y/N: What if I have no interest in eating when I have you all tangled like this with me?!

Daehyeon: You know the faster you eat the faster we get to cuddle right? and I made that cup of coffee with such love I’d love it if you still had it while it’s warm.

Y/N: Okay no need to convince me I’m sold, this better be the best cup I’ve ever had or I’m gonna be upset ahah.

Daehyeon: Come on you don’t think your beautiful and talented boyfriend lacks anything now do you?!

Y/N: Don’t like you didn’t almost burn the house once ahah.

Today was just another boring day in your life, classes all day and you were exhausted as usual. The only thing keeping a smile on your face was the fact that you were going to spend the night with your boyfriend. After a really long time apart you guys were able to find a little time to for each other.

 He texted you asking how long you’d take and you replied with a short “2 minutes”. Nothing could ruin your mood you were so excited for this, the day felt dreadfully long but you still didn’t mind cause you’d be joined by your favourite person in the world in a few hours.

You got to his studio and called him as a sign to open door, he did and up the stairs you were, after a few turns you saw light coming from his personal room meaning he left the door slightly ajar for you. With a soft push you entered and silently shut the door, trying to surprise the very focused boy in front of you. A soft approach, hands on his shoulders and a scream was all it took.

Y/N: BOO!!

Daehyeon: YAAAAAA!! DON’T DO THAT, AAAAH MY HEART.

You were on the floor laughing, every time you do this he gets scared and the enjoyment is the same as the first time you did it.

Y/N: You should be used to it by now, don’t you know your girlfriend likes to see you as cute as you look right now ahah.

Daehyeon: BUT YOU STILL CANT DO THIS TO ME. You know I can’t take it well aaah.

You love when he gets a little whinny, it’s a rare sight and because of that you always make the most out of it.

Y/N: Is my baby sulking right now?? Aaawww I wish you’d see how adorable you look right now.

Daehyeon: Since you so clearly love your boyfriend being starteld don’t I get a kiss as reward?

Y/N: Should you?! I don’t know your last reaction was better than this one...

Daehyeon: Oh c’mon I’ve been waiting for this moment all day.

Y/N: OH?! Is my baby begging right now??? How could you, my weak spot.

You sat yourself on his laps and cupped his cheeks with both your hands. Looking at his eyes was looking at a starry night sky, probably more beautiful than that, you can’t resist him and it’s not like you want to eaither. After a few seconds of admiration you finally locked lips with your lover, making him wrap his arms around your waist. He broke the kiss first and looked you directly in your full of love eyes.

Daehyeon: Do you know how lucky I am to have such a loving and caring girlfriend?? 

His words made you blush, another rare occasion and this was his favourite. Both of you are pretty bold at flirting with one another but when he becomes soft and honest you never know how to handle it. And he doesn’t face your reaction as disrespectful, he knows you love the much deserved praised and it’s only fair since he receives a lot from you and because he always wants you to feel loved and appreciated. You tried to hide your face on the crook of his neck, hands on his chest and little whines coming from you. He let you stay there, he knows this is your way of tahnking him for his words.

The bond you both have is one many wish to find throughout their lives and you were lucky enough to have found it this soon. Love really is a beautiful thing.
