Undoubtedly, Java comes with many unique features. Java is Object oriented programming language. Its platform independence and neutral structure helped in the growth of the language. Java is simple yet very safe and secure to use. This is evident from the trust that the developers are showing towards the programming language. Programs built on Java will work effectively on both desktop and mobile devices. The language is strong, robust and supports multiple threads. Other unique features of Java include its dynamic performance and portability.

2) Identifiers in Java:

Identifier is the term that refers to all the program components like variables, class, methods and objects. These form the four basic components of Java programming. Objects include behaviors of the states. For example, a car has states like model and colorwhereas behavior includes speed and mileage. Class serves as a blue print that describes the states and behavior of the objects. Syntax of the Java is incomplete if any of the four components are absent from the code.

3) Case Sensitiveness of Java:

A point to note is that Java is a case sensitive language. So, the interpretation of the identifiers (variables, class, methods and objects) depends on the case used. Thus the upper and lower case of the identifiers should be treated as differently and has to be taken care of in coding. Therefore, “welcome” and “Welcome” would have different meaning in Java programming. A letter (K or k), $ sign and underscore can be used at the beginning of the identifier. Never think of using keyword as an identifier.
