It wasn't a situation unfamiliar to the two of them despite being halfway across the world. Yet again they found themselves making their hasty exit out of a bar before a proper crowd could gather, and now they found themselves walking down the relatively quiet Paris street back toward the hotel. James hardly registers the dull ache in his hand, the adrenaline from the fight still coursing through his veins and leaving a bounce in his step despite his inebriated state. "I bought his girl a shot," he answers, eyes flicking quickly toward the dark haired boy before returning to the street in front of them, a small laugh sounding from him as he runs his tongue over the split in his lower lip. "He didn't like it too much." He shrugs, careless. "And here I thought the French were pacifists."

The first night Mickey had a panic attack after one of the La Pierre triplets attacked him, he wasn't sure how to deal with anything. It was 3 AM, and he felt guilty about it, but Jax had been the one to clean him up when he showed up bloody and bruised, he wanted Jax to be the one to talk him down back to reality as well. He had no idea how the Vargas boy could understand anything he said when he called him, words coming out in sobs and a muffled mess, but in less than 10 minutes, Jax was climbing in through Mickey's window, cautiously comforting Mickey until he was relaxed again. Jax spent the next few days at the Scott-Michael residence, making sure Mickey would be alright on his own until he finally went back to his own home. Even then, he called Mickey, just to make sure everything was alright.
