He traced his fingers around the frame of the door, they danced above the chestnut finish and creeped it's way down to the cold steel knob. He took a second to listen, to hear the calming tides of your breathing and a peaceful thump of your heart from behind your door. 

He wanted to turn and run but his legs were too tired, tired of the months he spent running from his feelings. He couldn't turn back now all the love and desire he had for you was too much to bear. It was spilling out from him, seeping through his cracks and encasing every part of his day.

When he woke up he'd remember the gentle feel of your skin and the soft tint of your lips. In the evening he'd think of the radiant gleam of your hair and light blush of your cheeks. Most of all at night he'd imagine warm still of your body and the melody of your voice lulling him to sleep.

It was now or never he had to tell you how he felt, so he mustered up all the courage he could and placed three firm knocks on your door. A few seconds had passed and he heard your light footsteps pitter patter across the cold floor. You opened the door wiping the heaviness of sleep off of your eyes. 

"Chris wh- what are you doing here?" You asked a bit shocked by this sudden visit. Chris pushed past you walking into your living room and pacing nervously around.

"What's going on?" You asked closing the door in front of you.

"Listen Joann there's something I have to tell you" Chris blurted out holding both of your hands and guiding you to the nearest chair. 

"I've been afraid to tell you because I didn't know what you would say or if you'd even care but I have to get this off of my chest" Chris breathed out nervously.

" what is it Chris your scaring me" you said as your head raced thinking about every possibility of what he might say next 

" It's nothing bad I promise, it's..it's  just that I'm in love with you Joann I have been for a few months and I can't take it anymore i can't spend another day with you not knowing" he said, kneeling in front of you still holding onto both your hands.

You stood quiet in total shook, his words bleeding into your chest making it heavy and hard to breath.

" please say something" Chris begged as he stared straight into your eyes. 

" I love you too" you said smiling from ear to ear. 

You lunged forward wrapping your arms around his neck, your sudden embrace knocking him off his feet and the both of you tumbled to the floor. You laughed out, eyes crinkling together and glowing from happiness.

Without thought Chris placed his hand on your cheek and crashed his lips to yours. He let go of every bit of love and longing he had and purred it into that kiss. He finally felt weightless that you were finally and completely his.

" Cass " he said a velvet name flicking off his tongue. " Cass " he said twice this time with more strength. His head pushed back slightly off the feathery pillow. His nose twitched and crinkled.

The sneaky slivers of sunlight that managed to creep through the blinds laid upon his golden soft skin warming from the gentle rays. He rolled and stretched his smooth arm out, searching for your sleeping form.

When his slick long fingers reached your resting skin it left small goosebumps in its wake. He felt around for a moment or two till his hand found it's way to your hip. 

He grasped you hard with a steady strength, pulling you closer towards his body. Scooting forward he embraced you fully. It was bliss to be encaged in his arms. Tight toned muscles pulling on his thin skin all around you.

 "Mmm" he hummed out a smile forming on his face. Oh how he loved to feel your body against his. He welcomed every chance he could to feel your heat and smell your sweet aroma. 

"Good Morning" he said with a low raspy voice, sleep rolling off every word, the hint of a smile almost audible in his tone. 

"You seem to be in a good mood this morning" you whispered 

"I'm always in a good mood waking up beside" you replied placing long drawn out kisses on every inch of your exposed skin

his heart beating was April rain, Soft and slow. Like the tune that played on the small old radio. It filled the room with its steady beat.

His breath was just like May flowers sweet and divine like the subtle smell of lavender that followed his every step.

His eyes were June sky's, deep and warm like the fiery feeling that rises from his touch as he sways you around. 

He twisted, dipped and turned, feeling the low music in the sheen of his bones. His body hummed close to yours. "Kelsey" he said, You could feel the vibration of his words as it slipped from his tongue.

The tune was like wine getting better as the time passed. His chest pressed firmly on yours, and his arm wrapped delicately at your waist. " Yes" you whispered as you moved with him. 

"You look so beautiful" he said, caressing the small of your back and smiling widely. A similar smile danced on your lips. He was a master at that, able to conjure smiles from you so easily.

" you don't look so bad yourself Bucky " you said pushing yourself away from him, your hand still in his as you spun back into his arms. 

" I told you one little dance wouldn't hurt" he said his lips ghosting on the smooth skin of your neck. 

" well it's cause you're such a good partner" you replied.

The music slowly started dying down. The silence so loud as you stared into his eyes. He spun you back around so you were facing him, pressed his hand further up your back and dipped you low. He pressed a soft kiss on your lips as a new song started to play.
