The heterogenous alliance of a pure concrete observable and a mode of rational contentation is merely an image without thought. If there is science, then it is demonstration through and through, which is to say, it is logic.
...
There is a twofold difficulty in Bolzano' s solution: it may avoid subordination to either an existing historical moment or an absolute of consciousness, but it must itself posit a totality of what it attains so as then to discern, if it can, the essential permanent element of that which is mobilised by it.

Found in Wonderland- Lukadrien June Day 14
I’m seeing a trend of where I fall asleep when working on a fic and it just does not look as good as I’d like it. I got the idea from a fluff generator and they mentioned Problematic Punks as a bonus au, though both me and I guess most of the internet has no clue what that means since googling it was no help. But I made Adrien a pastel punk cause I could. This could of been better but guess who has to go to work tomorrow and may not be able to post then? God I hope I do better. @lukadrien-june Lost
Luka walked back home, music drowning into his ears through his headphones. Usually he’d ride on his bike anywhere but a flat tire and procrastination had him walking this time. It was a holiday and most stores were closed. He’d been lucky to just reach the small grocery not far from their loft before it closed. Adrien would no doubt be either tired, hungry or both once he got back, so thankfully he now had something in the fridge for him.
He’d been so in his head, he didn’t see the small brown ball of fur until it crashed into his feet, causing him to almost trip. He took his headphones off and looked down, seeing the small puppy staring up at him from where it’d fallen. The pup was black and tan, markings similar to a rottweiler with wavy almost curly hair. He kneeled down, which the pup took as a sign to spring back up and run around him.
“What are you doing here?” he was able to grab the pup as it passed by him and held it up. The eyes said King Cavailer, but the fur didn’t match. He also checked and found the pup to be a girl. He also noticed the black collar around her neck, but no tags. “Are you microchipped?” he wondered out loud. Then he remembered, the closest vet place would be closed due to the holiday except for emergencies. He stood up with the pup in hand “Well, I guess Alice couldn’t say no to letting you stay the night.”
While he continued his walk home, he looked up what puppies could eat, hoping Adrien didn’t get too upset. He was more of a cat person than dog, mostly cause of a photographer’s dog that startled him when he was young, but Luka was sure Adrien wouldn’t be able to say no once he saw something in need. It would tug at his heartstrings.
                                                     _______________
The pup seemed full of energy once they arrived home. He’d offered her water and piece of plain chicken, which she accepted, before she went running around the loft. He was grossly underprepared for this, but he made do with what he could. Towel that would be thrown out anyway for a mock pad, he quickly pulled anything she could get to, like amp wires and laptop chargers off the floor and closed the doors to the home studio and office. The loft was pretty open, the door to the bedroom always open and the large living room offering enough space for her to explore. Once she started to calm down, he picked her up and took her over to one of the shelves, pointing to a picture.
“That’s Adrien. I call him Alice sometimes because he reminded me a lot of Alice from Alice in Wonderland when we meet, a bit lost and looking for an escape. And he feel in love with the Tim Burton version. He’s a model but dresses in pastel punk clothes cause he knows it annoys his dad. He’s my boyfriend and a nerd and I’m sure you’ll love him as much as I do. Seafoam green hair and all.”
The pup was starting to doze off when Luka heard a key in the door.
“Hatter! I’m home!”
Leaving the pup asleep on the floor, he went to go greet his boyfriend. He’d left early that morning and Luka only remembered a dreary kiss before falling back asleep. But there he was, in a black leather jacket, faded dyed hair and ripped matching jeans, his boyfriend.
“Hi Alice.” he greeted before pressing a kiss to his lips. “photo shoot go ok?” he asked, taking the cat eared helmet out of Adrien’s hands so he could pull off his shoes.
“Oh the usual, dad was there with his usual disappointed look, me having to remind him that while I’m living in a place paid by him, modelling was the only thing he asked for in exchange, Vincent yelling something about momma’s spaghetti?”
“Still not happy you moved out huh?”
“Or that I’m dating you or that I dress like this, but hey, can’t please everyone.” Adrien said, taking the helmet back, since it lived in their room. “I’m happy and that’s all that matters.”
Then they heard whimpering coming from the living room, tiny barks following as the pup started to look for Luka.
Adrien looked very lost. “What’s that noise?”
“Ok, I know you’re not the biggest fan of dogs, but hear me out.” Luka started as he walked back to the living room.
“I really hope this isn’t your way of saying you adopted a dog.”
“More like we’re gonna house it for the night. Little thing went crashing into my feet on the way home and while she has a collar, no tags and come on,” he said picking the whimpering pup up and holding up to Adrien’s face, “can you really say no to a face like that?”
Adrien stared the dog down before she decided to incite him by licking him, causing the seafoam haired model to giggle.
“Alright.” he said, taking the pup from Luka’s hands, already an expert on cradling it. “I guess she can stay. Did you get any supplies?”
“Well most stores where closing so I’m improvising.”
Adrien blinked at his boyfriend, “You do remember that Alya’s family fostered animals most of her life and she does the same now? They don’t live that far, you could of asked if they had anything.”
“Oh. Don’t laugh at me, I don’t have my bike, it would of taken forever.”
“Look at him pup, he might look like he has his life together but he’s the laziest out of everyone I know. So what are we gonna call her?” Adrien asked, already showering her in love.
“Um, how about Persephone? From the translations you like that don’t involve kidnapping. She got a little lost and was taken care of and we’ll have to give her back.”
“As long as you promise not to have her eat pomegranate seeds. Speaking of food, I’m hungry.”
                                                      _______________
Persephone followed Adrien around, even as Luka moaned about how they bonded before Adrien came home. She came running over when Luka decided to bring out his guitar to work on a song, dancing around his feet as he strummed a tune. Once she was asleep again, she laid across Adrien’s lap as the two cuddled on the couch.
“Wait, she’s a what?”
“Cavapoo. Cavalier and a Poodle mix. Chloe wanted one growing up but she’s not big on picked up poop so.” Adrien explained.
“Interesting.”
“So I’m a little curious about something. Not that you would of turned her away, but what made you bring Persephone back here? You don’t have experience with pets from what you told me.”
“I don’t, but I don’t know. She was lost and she should have been scared but she looked happy and I guess it kinda reminded me of you. You welcomed any excuse to get away from your dad and get into trouble and I know if I didn’t offer my help to you then, who knows what would of happened and I guess I didn’t want to see that with her.”
Adrien remembered how much he rebled against his father, almost always looking to get in trouble. He felt like Alice, lost in reality and not happy with what she had. Then his Hatter came, stopped him from destroying his life and helped him experience his own version of Wonderland. If Luka didn’t come into his life, Adrien didn’t know what he’d be doing, but he knew he wouldn’t be nearly as happy as he was now.
The next morning, they found Persephone’s family, who’d rushed over to the vet to collect her.
“We named her Alice, like Alice in Wonderland.”
“Well, isn’t that interesting.” Luka said, sharing a look with Adrien.

Second detour of the day was in Paris for an incredible organ concert at Notre Dame, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Cavaille Coll organ. Highlights of the evening were: Latry's moving rendition of Franck's Deuxième Choral. Castagnet' exuberant Final to Widor's 8th. Vincent Dubois' technically flawless playing on the Prokofiev Toccata And although not entirely pleasant to listen to, yet still memorable, Jean-Pierre Leguay playing serialism for 20 minutes.

Jean Cavaille 2016 “Cep Noir Vielles Vignes” Apremont, Savoie
Jean Cavaille 2016 Cep Noir Vielles Vignes Apremont, Savoie
Sometimes you find a great bottle using a wine heuristic.  Sometimes is simply picking up a bottle from a beloved-but-obscure wine region. The Apremont region in the Savoie department in France makes delicious light wines, pretty as a filigree of sunlight on a glacier. Very little of it is imported into America. When I see a bottle, I buy a bottle.
This producer isn’t well known in the states. Jean Cavaille is a negotiant and wine promoter based in Savoie. They bottle a few wines under their own label, but they mostly work with other wineries around France and Italy. Despite that, they’ve been around since 1949, and one of the few companies to promote wines from Apremont.
The grape here is Jacquère which can make elegant and ethereal white wines when sourced from older vineyards, like this bottle. A pretty nose of lemongrass and  Lily of the Valley. A touch of spice on the palate, with light and supple orchard fruit flavors. An expressive style with rich notes and a fine length.
Pan-seared sea scallops with a lobster-chorizo sauce is a perfect pairing.
