“Oh no, I’m not working with Colt!” You exclaimed as Colt nodded furiously. Your professor gave you a dissatisfied look as she watched the two of you looking at each other with hatred. “I will literally do any other person but just not Colt.” 

Your professor sighed. “No. I’ve had these partner chosen to since before the semester began. Unless it’s detrimental and the two of you have any legal problems, the pair stays as is.” Both Colt and you figured that the two of you weren’t getting out of this. “Now unless the two of you have any other questions, you may leave.” 

You growled as you and Colt walked out of the office. “We need to figure out the schedule to meet up to do this project but we can save that for tomorrow, I’ve had enough for today.” Colt shrugged as the two of you walked in separate directions. You seen Mikasa waiting for you along with Eren. 

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Eren asked as he noticed the scowl on your face. “You look like you’re ready to murder someone.” 

You sighed knowing if you didn’t take a breath, you’d get angry at poor Eren. “For Philosophy, I got paired up with Colt for a presentation that’s worth 25% of our grade. Out of the 40 kids in the classroom, it was Grice.” Eren and Mikasa shook their heads understandingly. “I’m so upset.”

“Don’t sweat about it, you get nothing from being upset.” Mikasa mumbled as she realized her classroom was coming up. “Just distract yourself.” 

You shrugged as Mikasa waved both you and Eren off. “I have a free period so if you want to catch lunch with Connie and I.” You nodded as you followed Eren to the campus lunch area. “Just hope that Colt isn’t in there.” 

The two of you grabbed lunch and quickly met everyone in one of the big circular tables. You set your bag down and sat between Eren and Jean which was bold within itself. 

“Guys, she got paired up in a project with Colt Grice.” Eren said as everyone besides Sasha were shocked. “What’s wrong with that?” Sasha asked as she looked at everyone extremely confused. 

“The two of them dated and we all honestly thought they were going to be together forever but for whatever reason, they broke up and he never gave her a reason why. They dated for three years and he just dumped her.” Eren explained as Sasha seen you grip your fork with extreme force. “Not even Reiner gave her a reason and they’re pretty close.” 

Sasha gave you a small sad smile. “You know men fucking suck sometimes.” Connie gave Sasha a pretend hurtful look as she squeezed his hand to signify that she was just joking. “But really, that sucks. Don’t worry, there’s a lot of men in this school.” 

“Yeah but none of them are Colt.” You mumbled as you changed the topic before you got any more sad or angry. Just as all of you were finally getting off the topic, you noticed Colt and his gang of friends with him. 

You growled and sunk into your seat. Jean being the quick thinker he was put his arm around you and whispered in your ear to follow along. You felt yourself tense up and once you realized what he was talking about, you tried to relax. 

“I’ll pretend to be your boyfriend for as long as you need me too.” Jean whispered as you shrugged nervously. “What made you Captain Save-A-Hoe all of a sudden?” 

Jean shrugged which clarified that the conversation was over. 

Colt walked by your table along with his brother Falco and made it no secret that he was looking at you and Jean. Jean gave Colt the infamous smirk that made anyone want to punch Jean in the face. 

“When’s the next time you have class with him?” Jean asked. “Tomorrow. We have to meet up to schedule some meetings for our project.” Jean chuckled as the two of you started to conjure up a plan.

You woke up the next morning to lazily put yourself together. You wore a black and brown plaid dress with a white long sleeve underneath. For you, it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary but to others it was. 

“Wow, you look cute.” Mikasa said as Eren agreed. “Dressing up for Jean, are we?” 

You faked gagged as the three of you walked into the main campus. The two of them continuing to pester you about Jean until you reached the man himself. He was dressed in slacks and a button up shirt. 

“Did the two of you coordinate or something?” Eren joked as he promptly got a punch on the arm by Mikasa. “I never said that it was a bad thing.” 

“I have to meet up with Colt in a few minutes so what’s your plan, Kirschtein?” You asked as the two of you walked up to get coffee. “Please tell me you have a plan.” 

Jean chuckled. “Just follow along. You just have to make sure to act normal as possible.” 

You gave Jean a weirded out look as he paid for both of your coffees. The two of you walked towards the library where you were meeting Colt. As the two of you noticed Colt, he was already sitting down waiting for you. 

Jean immediately put his hand around your shoulder as Colt look up to the two of you. “I’ll be waiting upstairs with Eren and Connie.” Without realizing what he was about to do, he went in for a kiss. You tried to remain as calm as possible as Jean pulled away. “Try not to take long.”

You nodded as you sat down on the chair in front of Colt. Without noticing what Jean was doing, Colt was glaring daggers at him. All Jean did was give Colt another smirk before going towards the elevator. 

“Since when have you and Kirschtein seeing each other?” You had to think and think fast. “We’ve been dating for a month and a half.” 

Colt nodded. “That’s cool.” You nodded as you took your planner out of your bag. “Yeah but that’s not any of your business so how about we plan out the days we have to meet up so we can leave.” 

Colt felt a bit taken back at the sudden change of subject but he ignored it. The two of you planned to meet up three more times before the presentation was due. While the two of you had only been together for no more than a half hour, Jean, Connie, Eren, and Armin were already walking downstairs wondering why you were taking so long. 

“Are you done?” Jean asked as he sat down next to you. “Everyone wants to get breakfast and I want you to come with.” You nodded as you started to pack your back. 

“I’ll see you next week for class.” Colt nodded as he wanted to hold your arm to ask you to stay but from the looks of it, you were more than excited to leave him.

For the days the two of you met up for the presentation, Jean made sure he walked you to the library. At first, it was only for show but as the days progressed, Jean actually met you after class and the two of you ate lunch together. 

Both you and Jean were catching lunch together, went to the mall a few times, went to get drinks together and while both of you were oblivious to it all, everyone was able to see that the both of you were actually starting to like each other. 

The last day you were supposed to meet up with Colt finally came. Jean wanted to make sure that today would be the day to tick him off the most. He knew that you would be comfortable with anything he did as long as he kept it respectful and Jean fully intended to make milk it as much as possible. 

Both you and Jean walked inside the library to see Colt already waiting at the table again. The only thing the two of you had to do was look over everything for the presentation and that was it. Your hellish days would finally be over with Colt. 

“Hey, I’ll stay with you. Everyone doesn’t get out of all until later and I don’t mind sticking around.” You laughed as you sat your bag down. “That’s fine. Just sit there and look cute and I’ll be done before you know it.” 

Colt was surprised. “He’s staying?” You nodded as you gave Colt a look. “Yeah, is that a problem?” Colt for the time being shook his head no. Jean knew that Colt was either too afraid to say anything or maybe he didn’t know what to say. 

“So, I’m presenting the first half of the presentation and you’ll do the second half. We have to wear business casual so make sure you don’t wear anything too casual.” Colt nodded. “Is he gonna be there?” 

You gave Colt a confused look. “Why would he be? He isn’t in our Philosophy class.” Colt shrugged. “Since he seems to be following you everywhere I figured he’d be in the class too.” 

You gave him a look as Jean put a hand on your should to indicate that you should calm down. “Listen Grice, whatever is up your ass with my girlfriend, you should drop it. You’re the dumbass who broke up with her and I’m allowed to be with my girlfriend whenever I want to be.” 

“Yeah, that doesn’t mean you have to be up her ass 24/7.” Colt retaliated. “You’re so much more clingier than I was and I know for a fact that she’s annoyed by it.” 

“Colt, shut up. Seriously, just do me the favor and be quiet.” You tried to say as you seen both of the boys get up. “Since you’re a man all of a sudden, how about you act like one instead of say snide comments.” Jean threatened as Colt laughed in a sarcastic manner. 

“Like you could ever give her the love we both had for each other.” Colt said back. Jean gave him a look. “Yeah and look at where that got you.” Jean said with a smirk playing on his face.

Colt felt himself about to blow up. “I didn’t break up with her on purpose! School is hard and I didn’t want to put her in the back burner.” Your eyes widened with anger. 

“You could’ve told me that instead of just breaking up with me, dumbass.” You growled. “We were dating for years and that was the reason. Jesus Christ, Colt. You’re a bigger dumbass than I expect.” 

As Colt was about to talk, you stuck your finger up. “You know what, I don’t care. We’re done with the relationship and the conversation. From now on, don’t talk to me and after we’re done with the presentation, don’t even think of talking to me.” 

Colt remained silent as he watched you chuck your book bag over your shoulder. “I’ll see you on Tuesday. You grabbed Jean’s hand and walked towards the exit of the library. Jean turned around to give Colt one final look. 

Jean gave him what felt like was the 100th smirk of the week. But this smirk was different. The smirk signified that he won. Jean had won your heart and Colt lost it. While Colt was heartbroken, what Jean said was true. He was the reason why you were now dating Jean. Colt wasn’t man enough to give you a reason for the break up and now you were in the arms of another man and there wasn’t much he could do about it.

❥ notes: after talking about this for like an hour with my friend it had to be written.... someone had to write is smh

it was probably jean and connie who started streaming separately first, then because they’re obviously friends occasionally collabed together

eren who already spent so much time playing video games by himself started doing it for fun— playing with jean & connie too who also began playing with sasha and convinced her to make a channel herself

eren begged armin to stream with them too a few times who reluctantly agreed. streaming makes him a little nervous but when he submerges himself in the game he forgets people are watching and falls into the whole gaming thing comfortably

jean, connie, eren set up accounts and began to post content, sasha and armin only made accounts to stream with their friends but gained followers and subscribers on twitch & youtube even without posts / streams

sasha still doesn’t stream much or ever unless it’s with some of the others (mainly mikasa, who we’ll get into in a second), and armin streams when he wants some wind down time because when he’s on his own stream he finds the company of the viewers relaxing 

mikasa, a little while after armin and sasha began streaming too because sasha and eren both begged her. like seriously eren got on his knees at one point, told her he’d set up her system and everything and she gave in

everyone loved her, she set up her page all the good stuff but she has little to no content up, as a matter of fact what she does have up isn’t even really ever her playing games but it’s her just talking to her viewers. occasionally her and sasha hanging out & just chatting 

they are all really versatile with their game plays, it can range from shooting games (mikasa, armin, connie take the crown here), to minecraft (armin and sasha’s personal favorites), to battle royales (eren, jean, connie, mikasa dominate), to little fun games like gang beasts / among us (sasha, connie favs)

if they all aren’t streaming together, which became rarer the more popular they got the usual groups you’ll see streaming together is; armin, eren, mikasa / jean, connie, eren / jean, connie, sasha / sasha, mikasa / mikasa, armin / sasha, connie / jean, eren / eren, armin 

one of their most popular streams when they all stream together ends up being minecraft. they’re just so chaotic. you have connie constantly trying to kill people, sasha collecting ingredients for her cake, armin helping jean build their house, mikasa collecting flowers / fighting mobs, and eren fighting every mob in sight (armin told him to stop killing random villagers.)

another one of their really popular streams are anytime they play multiplayer scary games (see friday the 13th, pacify, etc.) because they’re an absolute mess.

eren saying he isn’t scared every 5 seconds, jean getting frustrated because he’s actually trying to play the game right, sasha messing around and continuously screwing the rest of them over, armin actually strategizing and solving puzzles with mikasa’s help, connie screaming. (literal youtube compilations of him screaming)

as a matter of fact there are so many compilations of all of them on youtube. they all get shipped too, yes, that’s in every fandom: mika helping sash jump people in gta for 4 mins straight, every time armin solves a puzzle and says “i did it.”, jean & connie killing each other in minecraft compilation, whatever it is— you name it because they are a MESS i tell you.

people constantly talk about sasha and mikasa because they’re so cute when they stream together + people think they’re 10x hotter than the boys like duh

as a matter of fact that’s one reason the whole group is so popular is because not only are they funny with every element of a friend group, they’re also insanely hot.......
