I will never be normal about the fact that all the times Law got involved with Luffy, it's on his own accord. He stayed back in Sabaody, and I'm sure he should know how that's going to look like. Then in Marineford, he saves Luffy when there's virtually no reason to... Then in Punk Hazard, it's him who suggests they form an alliance (friendship!!!) to take down one of the Four Emperors (BIG ADVENTURE!!!!).
Law willingly walked right into Luffy's orbit, looking straight at him. He counted on Luffy to be insane and strong enough to go along with him in taking down an Emperor, but he couldn't have imagined that Luffy could love him that much, that quick for the latter to not let go in Dressrosa.

Honestly, how am I supposed to live normally with the knowledge that Luffy's flower is sunflower while Law's is Queen of the Night?
#I'm not usually insane over sun and moon things but#they can have it#And looking into Law's flower has been very fun and productive#gave me much to think about#this may seem like a jump but all I can think is that Luffy would absolutely treasure Law#I wish I can articulate my thoughts better but we know Luffy very much treasures what is currently in front of him#He thinks of the Law that's in front of him#Not the one who might not be there tomorrow#Sending my brainwaves to fellow mentally ill people#lawlu#lulaw#jeiyu txt#No because the sad connotations of Law's flower is the part that HE would focus on#But it's okay because Luffy is different#And has always viewed him as a good thing in his life ever since Law saved him in Marineford#Their reunion in Punk Hazard is insane btw because Luffy was really so happy to see him again I'm gonna cry

I have a lot of marinating Doflamingo thoughts at the back of my head. I wasn't super crazy over him before, I just didn't doubt his character to be interesting when basically everyone was saying he is, and I know some spoilers from his backstory. Just really waited to see for myself to form my own thoughts and god, he gave me a lot to think about.
It's fascinating to me how a character could be so doomed into a path of evil.
