I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to be part of this Purple Book Class. (The first session has started, and there will be three more sessions). Being established in faith with sound doctrine and teaching through God’s Word, truly will have a great impact on your Christian walk. This book has helped me to go specifically to a particular book in the Bible and study it and enlightens me more about God. (I know that there are so much stuffs out there that might help to understand the Bible, but I just want to express how grateful I am for this book 😊). The topics are actually the basics of Christianity (but I was surprised that there were certain things that I had believed that they were the truths about God. They were trivial, though, but thank God I was enlightened 😂😁) So anyway, going back, as I was saying, the topics are basic. But what is so great about it is it brings me back to the very first time that I accepted Jesus in my life. It relives(yeah, that’s the right word) the moment I understood that I was a sinner and will never ever be reconciled to God unless I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. And it is really such an amazing experience to encounter Jesus for the first time, and how God worked to made me realize I needed a Savior in life. For most of the Christians, because we are so used to keep ourselves busy with how we will grow as God’s children, we actually often forget the very basic- the Cross, and how it brought radical change to humanity. When I was answering some of the questions in the book a while ago (with reference, of course the Holy Word), the basic that Jesus’ death on the Cross and Resurrection, and God’s mercy and grace, I just realized how God’s redemption of mankind through Jesus’ blood, how His loving kindness and unconditional love, can bring the desire of loving Him and stay connected to Him moment by moment and keep that desire burning inside, and how that magnificent story of sacrificial death for our salvation can bring the compassion to reach out to the lost people, who are perishing from sin, be it spiritually or physically, without encountering Jesus. And I believe that if I will just always go back to that same “old” story, 2 000 years ago, everyday, and remind myself for what God has done out of His great love for me, I will be more willing to embrace real growth no matter what it takes, and the “new” creation that the Word is telling about us who are in Christ, will make sense more in us. And I am also convicted that I will be renewed daily to run the race that was set before me in order for me to finish it and to reach the goal- to win the heavenly prize that is in Jesus Christ ❤

I just hope and pray that I will be reminded by the basics and go back to it. May God give me the perseverance to finish the Purple Book Class, heehee. And ultimately, may He always give me the desire through His grace to love Him more, study His Word more and know Him more , until the day I will meet Him finally, face-to-face. That will be one of the three “sweetest of the sweetest” things (for me) that will ever happen to me, eternity with my God ❤
