3. have you seen my hoodie? no. you're wearing it, aren't you?

12. am i your lockscreen? you weren't supposed to see that.

jj is the one who calls and kiara is the one who answers at three in the morning. it's not a video call, for once, probably because jj finally remembered that she hates turning on her lights, even if she's awake.

'hey, blondie,' she says. 'what's up?'

there's some shuffling on his end. 'have you seen my dark white kildare hoodie? i've been looking for it for ages.'

kiara turns the light on, checks what she's wearing, and puts a hand over her mouth to stifle her laugh.

'it's grey, jj, not dark white.' her voice somehow doesn't betray her smile. 'and no.'

the shuffling ends, and he snickers. 'you're wearing it, aren't you?'

'no,' she says, only this time, the smile is evident in her voice. jj laughs harder and she hears him plop down on his bed, and it only makes her bring the fabric to her nose - it still smells like him. 'okay, fine. i stole it. but it looks good on me.'

'oh yeah? show me.'

it's a bait and she know it, but she still puts her phone at an arm's length and takes a selfie, bed head and all.

she sends it quickly, turning off the light.

'am i your lockscreen?'

'what?'

'i think you sent me the wrong picture.'

it is now that occurs to kiara that she sent sarah a screenshot of her lockscreen about an hour ago, and her finger must've slipped when she tried to send him the hoodie selfie.

embarrassing. she groans as she checks her phone and sees that's exactly what happened.

'you weren't supposed to see that.'

he laughs. 'it's okay, i like that picture of me, too.'

it's jj on his bike and kiara is the one who took the photo, a few weeks before they started dating. he looks goofy and sexy in it, and it's kiara's favourite picture of jj in existence.

'you better not give me shit for it.'

jj gasps. 'i would never! besides, now i know we're matching.'

he sends her a screenshot of his own lockscreen, which is promptly featuring a selfie of hers, where she also looks goofy and cute.

'you're a softie,' kiara tells him, but it's her own heart that's warm now.

'heck yeah. now send me what you actually meant to send. it better look good on you because it's my favourite.'

(in the end, she gets to keep it. they both like it on her better.)

Ok but I definitely think Jiara (especially JJ) would have a cutesy pic of the other as their contact photo… I just picture when Kiara calls JJ he gets this goofy smile on his face looking at his phone because of her photo…maybe the caller ID says my girl or something 😍 I definitely could see some cutesy Instagram pics of the couple too…and then their pics to just one another are a little steamier

LOOK I LOVE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE CUTE NAMES FOR EACH OTHER ON THEIR PHONE

AND THEY WOULD HAVE PRETTY GOOFY/CUTE PICS ON INSTAGRAM TOO

I’m obsessed with the idea they’d have cute photos of each other as their homescreen or lockscreen

However, we say JJ’s contact photo for Kie and it was all goofy and I just love that because it’s so Jiara abahsbsbsbsb 😂
