I looked at every image I could find of Jungkook recording. Do you notice the difference?

They've never covered his face before.

Their photogrophers are professionals who know them very well and see EVERYTHING. They know EVERYTHING. And the fact that no unsanctioned images have ever surfaced means these guys trust them to protect them.

It's no accident that they've positioned the shot so the pop filter shields his face so perfectly.

Look at his body language too. This was big.

Jimin and music

Jimin is very good and quick at the song/melody which was shown in the doc. It is the written word that comes hard for him. So I think he’s very musically creative just not with the lyrics and it may be because he wants each word to convey/contribute meaningfully to a thought and/or emotion.

Throughout the doc, he was constantly making music by humming and singing, just sitting there he was vocally making music and Pdogg sat there and captured those notes and recreated them with computer instruments and synthesizers.

It was so fascinating to watch them put the melody together out of nothing.

But watching them was also interesting because Pdogg is like a music nerd and Jimin is his own kind of nerd and I wonder how did Jimin end up being in such an image heavy/visual heavy career because his personality is so not like that. He is so incredibly self conscious of himself.

For some reason that hair color looks SO MUCH BETTER in this pic than it did during the live.

I KNEW we needed to be careful what we wished for when we manifested blonde Jimin because during the live, that color was identical to those cheeseballs sitting on the table in front of him. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

His gorgeousness still shone through and I love him no matter what color his hair is. I do have to admit though that before this moment, I was all settled into having dark haired Jimin from now on but look at him. He looks amazing. Thank you, Jimin, for being you!

The only times during the live watching the doc when he wasn't going "omg" at himself were when they were showing how Set Me Free Pt. 2 and Letter were written and produced.

His total immersion when Jungkook was singing the background vocals...they are just precious together.

During the live, he posed the question "why did he cut his hair that short" and then he remarked, his mother didn't like it.

Jimin said the reason he didn't want any features on FACE was because the album was personal to him so he didn't want anyone else involved. It was his story so he wanted to be the only one to tell it.

Hi anon. Oh it’s definitely sus. They glazed over it more than a doughnut!! They didn’t talk about the original lyrics Jimin wrote either that made it even more personal. And of course we didn’t see Jimin asking Jungkook to be on the song. And all he told him was that he “wrote a fan song”. Idk but whenever we saw Jungkook in the recording booth and they started the track with Jimin singing “Baby” I felt some type of way. The butterflies type of way. Maybe that’s why we didn’t see much of Jungkook’s face. I bet he was endeared too. And Jungkook is known to wear his emotions on his sleeve.

Oh my gosh, while I fully understand and also have the strongest desire to get to stream letter CONSTANTLY. I don't think it's ever gonna happen unfortunately. Its not just a SoundCloud song or a random release for ARMY like Still with You or other mixtape songs we are now finally getting... it's a hidden track on the album.

Hidden tracks aren't new to BTS and they have performed them occasionally, but they are special hidden gifts to BTS and ARMY and I think they will always stay off streaming services. Unless BH decides to really spoil us one day 😭

I love Jimin's solo album. It was well thought of, it was a masterpiece. Can't wait for mine to arrive. I admire his vocal range, his dancing and everything in it. He truly has worked hard for it, wracked his brain cells to come up with something unique and phenomenal. What's even better is the fact that this solo album is HIS story.

But I cannot, I really cannot help but smile and appreciate the romantic courage of this man. Yeah, the Letter.

It was by far, the most romantic I have seen someone do in this lifetime. The song is so so beautiful, the lyrics heartfelt you could melt, the melody so touching. It has ALL the elements of an excessively sweet and sentimental love song.

It was hidden, and yet it was out in the open. It is a fitting confession to someone who has been with him for a long period of time. It is a promise for the future no matter what.

Not including the Letter for streaming makes it more intimate and special. It does not aim to overshadow his efforts in making his debut album, but he made sure that the one person he loves the most will take part in it. Believing and allowing only the people who truly support them can experience this wonderful moment.

I do not need any grand analysis of to whom this song is for, because, let us FACE it, commissioning the services of the Jeon Jungkook as bg vocals would entail much planning and convincing if the guy will not do it for the sake of something greater and bigger such as the unique and passionate bond that they share.

There are many ways to say I love you, but this one tops the chart Park Jimin. I can only picture in my mind the smugness in JK's face these days. You must be happy Jimin, it is all that matters.

The bond.

I really try hard not to go overboard delulu here on the ol' blog.

But sometimes there are things you just know in your gut, know what I mean?

When Jimin was breaking down during the ending ments of the MOTS7 concert, JK was watching him closely. He was fretting. He wanted to walk over there and comfort Jimin. But the cameras were rolling, He wanted to allow his Jiminie a chance to pull himself together and finish saying what he wanted to say. Also, he was respecting the situation and the other members. And there were probably dozens of staff surrounding them trying to do their jobs. Kookie stayed put as long as he could resist. In that moment he knew Jimin was capable of handling himself but it was JK who was struggling to control his own impulse as he watched Jimin break down in front of god and everybody.

And when he felt he could not hold himself back any longer, he left his spot in the line and stepped over there to check on his Jiminie. Helped with some soothing touches and words. Just like Jimin has done for him in the past. And Jimin... seeing his Kookie right there had to be the split second he snapped out of it and gathered himself together. The instant relief is palpable. He was in the process of self-soothing with his own little tummy rub but then Kook was there by his side and he was able to get it under control again.

My gut feeling is this: During the time leading up to that moment, the shitty year before and with everything that Jimin shared about his struggles which turned into songs for his Face album... he was leaning heavy on JK to get through it all.

JK is the type to roll with the punches and go with the flow, more capable of adapting to the pandemic shut down because his re-charge situation as an introvert is free-form alone time. Downtime wouldn't be something he would struggle with as much.

However, Jimin's core being is structure, a schedule, preferably doing an activity. Yes, he has said when he is home, he is down on the couch. But his personality thrives on constant activity. Jimin is a strong person, but as we now know, the whole situation was A LOT for him to take on and deal with in his "I live and breath to perform for Army" workaholic lifestyle.

My gut feeling is there were many similar moments between the two of them when Jimin unleashed his frustrations and emotions and Kookie was there to hold him up.

I imagine it wasn't easy for Jungkook either. Everyone struggled. But his outward demeanor was less frenetic and therefore had a calming affect on Jimin.

Besides Jimin's reliance on us, Army, to support him... Jungkook is also one of the reasons we have the song Letter.

I know many have already speculated why Letter is also for JK. The fact he sings background vocals and it is a "hidden" track. Jimin showed us that the original lyrics were a little more specific.

And being reminded and seeing this moment during the MOTS7 concert after everything else that's transpired is another reference as to why it would be.
