 My last post was a very rushed one wishing Jisoo a happy birthday, but I wanna share my journey as a blink. As someone who has cherished these girls since 2017. But before I start, Jisoo is an incredible, funny, talented and kind person who caught my eye ever since I saw the girls. I’m not going to talk about her mistreatment (even though YG you better watch out, if you don’t treat my baby better, I’m coming for you--), not talk about how less lines she gets- I’m here to talk about the Jisoo I’ve come to know over the years.

I remember As If It’s Your Last- it popped up on my recommended and this was the first K-pop song I ever listened to. I was immediately attracted to Blackpink as a whole. I started watching interviews and watched the girls grow after the DDU-DU-DDU-DU era. I was in a very depressed state and I still am- but these girls inspired me to keep going- not anyone get in the way of my dreams. Not let anyone push me down, Jisoo always stood out to me in every single thing I watched about Blackpink. No, she is not very fluent in English (but she improves every single day and oh my god, I love it) but she had a different aura from the other girls. Her beauty always threw me off guard, but she is not just a visual. Her sultry, strong, stable, husky vocals were so angelic and always made me feel satisfied. She always had a more fun. cute side to herself, but could also be fierce when she wanted to. She had- and continues to be so supportive of everyone, is kind, strong and has been through so much. She is absolutely amazing and I have nothing but extreme love for her. A queen turned 26 today and I can’t believe how far she’s come. She- along with the other pinks- has created a strong fandom for themselves- all of them excelling in dancing, performing, rapping and/or singing (Come on, Jisoo’s rapping is iconic y’all). I couldn’t be more proud of Jisoo, she has come so far as I will support her throughout this journey. Jisoo, you have changed my life for the better, and given me hope to keep going and I am more than thankful.

She is so legendary and gave me hope to continue my dreams no matter how many people push me down, thank you Jichu. I love you.
