Let's talk about the first time Jimin visited your office.

It was a bit after the two of you became official. You weren't living together yet but he would visit you often. Home, Office, or simply hanging out, you told him he could visit anytime he liked. being the shy little thing he was in the beginning, he opted for just visiting you at home until one day, he just had this need to be near you. the only problem? he didn't know how your co-workers would take your relationship (if they even knew about it). he tries to not think about it as much but his need outweighed everything else.

he’ll be damned if someone gets in his way.

he walks into the building and steps into the elevator with a couple of other workers. some lustful eyes and others are confused about who he is. no one says a thing. he presses the tenth floor, humming to himself as everyone gets off at their destination.

after what feels like an eternity, the door swings open to reveal his destination. he remembers you told him about what you did for a living on your first date. it makes sense that your name is on the wall that leads to the desk (along with someone else’s). it's a buzz-in front door, leaving you to have to go through security and the receptionist.

he takes a deep breath, not used to being in places like this but honestly, it makes you ten times hotter in his eyes.

“can I help you, sir?” jimin's head snaps towards to the desk, unsure of what to say until he remembers what you told him. “sir?”

“oh, hi. i, um, i’m here to see ms. ___?” jimin turns to glance around the building, people coming and going. it looks busy through the glass door, he hopes you're not too busy to see him.

“you don't sound too sure…” the receptionist is snarky as the security guard snickers. jimin doesn't let it deter his mood. he’s here to see you and that’s exactly what he’s going to do. “well, do you have an appointment?”

“i don’t.”

“then I can’t let you in without one.”

“can you just let her know I'm here.” if he wants to be snarky, of course, jimin can do the same. he turns his lip up in irritation.

“I could but ms. ___ is a busy person and if you don't have an appointment she won-”

“jimin!” you beam, ignoring the way you startled both of them. you're practically running through the door with your arms open for him to run into. "I didn't know you were coming, my love."

"i wanted to surprise you."

"oh baby." you kiss his forehead and smile at the way he giggles, ignoring everyone around you. “did you have trouble finding me?” you ask, glaring at the receptionist. you witness the whole conversation and you’re going to have a word with him later.

“no but can we go? It’s your lunchtime right?”

You flip your watch to check the time and nod.

“how about I order something and we can have lunch in my office? I have something I wanna show you.” You wink at Jimin who only blushes but nods. Your eyes catch the receptionist watching the whole thing when you decide to say something. “remember I said I had a guest coming?”

“y-yes I do but I didn’t have a name.”

You roll your eyes, glancing at the security guard and then the boy behind the desk.

“park jimin is allowed in without an appointment. I don't care if im in a meeting, at lunch, or whatever- you better send him in. do I make myself clear?”

“Y-Yes ma'am. I'm so-sorry I didn't think-”

“you’re right. you didn't. don't let it happen again.”

“y-yes ma’am… won't happen again.” he stands to bow the moment you turn toward jimin to grab his hand. you don't notice when they make eye contact as jimin sticks his tongue out at him. the receptionist's nose turns up in irritation but jimin knows that look.

the look of longing.

“mine.” jimin smirks when his eyes widen, quickly darting them away when you glance back his way.
