Un film de Edoardo De Angelis Avec: Pierfrancesco Favino, Luca Chikovani, Johannes Wirix, Johan Heldenbergh, Mario Russo, Lucas Tavernier, Massimiliano Rossi, Silvia D’Amico, Giulio Greco, Arianna di ClaudioAu début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, Salvatore Todaro commande le sous-marin Cappellini de la Royal Navy italienne. Par une nuit noire d’octobre 1940, alors qu’il navigue dans l’Atlantique, il tombe sur un navire marchand armé naviguant toutes lumières éteintes. Il tire ses canons sur le navire et le coule. Ensuite, le Commandant prend une décision destinée à entrer dans l’histoire : il sauve les 26 Belges naufragés qui autrement se seraient noyés au milieu de l’océan et les débarque au port sûr le plus proche, comme le prescrit le droit de la mer. Pour leur faire place à bord de son sous-marin, il est contraint de naviguer à la surface de l’eau pendant trois jours, visible des forces ennemies et mettant en danger sa vie et celle de ses hommes.

Un film de Lise Akoka et Romane Gueret, avec Mallory Wanecque, Timéo Mahaut, Johan Heldenbergh….

Quatre ados de la cité de Picasso, à Boulogne-sur-Mer, sont choisis pour jouer dans un film qui se tourne sur place. Des gamins aux passés et aux présents difficiles. Prix « Un certain regard » lors de la dernière édition cannoise, « Valois de diamant » au Festival du film d’Angoulême, ce premier long métrage raconte la rencontre de deux mondes aux antipodes l’un de l’autre. Le regard que posent Lise Akoka et Romane Gueret sur les personnages et leur environnement est bienveillant sans être naïf. Elles trouvent le juste ton et la bonne distance, leur approche se refusant au misérabilisme grisaillant comme à l’esthétisation grossière. Coloré et solaire, « Les Pires » brille autant par ses qualités d’écriture que par son interprétation. Carburant à l’énergie de ses jeunes comédiens épatants et parfaitement dirigés, il est d’une remarquable intelligence, progresse sans posture ni imposture en soulevant des questions éthiques qui le concernent lui-même.

Les températures s’étant bigrement rafraîchies à Paris ces derniers jours, encore une fois Marina n’avait pas envie de sortir, JM y est allé tout seul. Mais surtout, avouons-le, elle n’était pas très intéressée par le sujet. Elle se réserve pour le film du japonais Hirokazu Kore-eda, « Les Bonnes étoiles », que nous irons voir très prochainement. Nous avions bien aimé ses précédents : « Tel père, tel fils » et son avant-dernier « Une affaire de famille ».

Vous vous doutez bien qu’un jeudi après-midi, avec une promotion quasiment inexistante et un petit 5 degrés dehors, il n’y avait pas grand monde dans la salle. Et c’est dommage car, dans son genre, c’est un très bon premier film… mais que JM ne recommanderait pas à tout le monde.

Peut-être faut-il avoir eu un jour à « diriger » un enfant (sur une scène de théâtre, un plateau de cinéma… ou dans un spectacle Mini-Club au Club Med) pour se rendre compte du travail remarquable accompli par les 2 réalisatrices. Les gros-plans des premières séquences (un parti-pris de mise en scène qu’on retrouve tout au long du film…) sur les jeunes acteurs sont époustouflants de vérité ! Waouh, le talent brut de ces comédiens non-professionnels !

JM lui a donné ❤️❤️❤️,5 sur 5.
