In asking these questions, David communicates that no matter where we might go, the Lord is right there with us. What’s more, He wants you to remember that the darkness is not dark to Him (Psalm 139:12). He knows what is up ahead and will be with you as you face it.

The Holy Spirit, your best friend here on earth. I can testify to the truth of that! Once you have the wonderful, kind, sweet Holy Spirit in your life, you will never want to be without Him. “Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, Standby.” Who else do you know that is all these things?
