Our sure and God-given weapons is The Word of God. As we consistently and prayerfully spend time with God in His Word, we will grow in faith and discernment ~ and it will also wash us and make us new. God’s Word provides protection for our minds like a helmet., and it arms us with truth like a belt wrapped around us ~ causing us to confidently stand firm. This belt holds a quiver full of promises that are like arrows that powerfully extinguish every fiery dart that the enemy will throw at us, as we take our thoughts captive as we replace the lies of the enemy with the truth of The Word. The Word also provides a shield of faith - because faith comes from hearing The Word - which places a divine breastplate across our chest ~ protecting our heart from sin and keeping us in righteousness as we hide The Word in our hearts. The Word enables us to stand in the shoes of the gospel of peace - because perfect peace comes to those who keep their eyes fixed on Him (Who is The Word.)
Every single piece of our armor mentioned in Ephesians chapter 6 is fully and completely provided by our sword, “which is The Word of God.” This is simply because He IS The Word! His blood, and His Spirit, and His Word ~ together ~ have given us everything we need for life and godliness ~ and everything we need to fight our battles. “And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these for war. The term "trains" here refers to He's walking us through a training exercise to fight the enemy much like a military training exercise. However, this is a spiritual war which cannot be fought with worldly ammunition ~ but know the enemy will try to distract you in a war of flesh - but only the weapon of His Word will ever be able to setus free, pull down spiritual strongholds m, and fight the principalities and powers of darkness in high places.
Our Father's goal is to bring us to the point where we have learned how ultimately trustworthy He is; so that we finally begin to automatically depend and lean 100% on Him as our natural reflex, and instinctive, reactive response... to literally e v e r y t h I n g..
The following are the verses that came to me as I was writing what was on my heart (if you are interested in further study) as well as the passages that inspired actually this post.
Ephesians 6:10-17 ~ John1:1 ~ John17.17 ~ John 14:6 ~ John 8:32 ~ 2 Timothy 3:16 ~ 1 Peter 2:2 ~ 2 Corinthians 10:5 ~ Hebrews 4:12 ~ Romans 10:17 ~ psalm 119:11 ~Isaiah 26:3 ~ 2 Corinthians 4:18 ~ Isaiah 50:7 ~ 2 Timothy 2:4-7 ~ 2 Timothy 2:15 ~ Isaiah 55:11 ~ Acts 17:11 ~ Deuteronomy 8:3 ~ James 1:21 ~ John 15:7 ~ John 16:13 ~ John 6:63 ~ John 7:38 ~ Matthew 4:4 ~ proverbs 30:5 ~ Romans 15:4 ~ 1 Corinthians 6:11 ~ Ephesians 5:25-27 ~ 1 John 5:6-13 ~ Psalm 144:1-6~ 2 Samuel 22:31-37 ~ Psalm 18:26-36

THE LEGALITY OF PRO-CHOICE  BY STEVE FINNELL
Is it lawful to be a pro-choice Christian when it comes to aborting unborn babies? Yes. Is it a sin to kill unborn babies? Yes. (Revelation 21:8 "But....murderers....shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."NKJV) Can the sin of abortion be forgiven? Yes. What sin cannot be forgiven? That would be unrepented sins.
Is it lawful for a believer in Jesus to be pro-choice when it comes to lying about the terms for pardon? Yes. Is it a sin to claim that immersion in water is not essential to have sins forgiven? Yes. (Revelation 21:8 "But ....all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. NKJV) Yes, liars who repent and ask for forgiveness can be forgiven.
Is it lawful for believers in Jesus Christ to be pro-choice concerning fornication, idolatry, adultery, homosexuality, and sodomy? Yes. Is it a sin to commits those things? Yes. (1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. "Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites.......will inherit the kingdom of God. NKJV)
Most sinful practises are legal in the United States of America. Christian are within their legal right to be pro-choice on most sins. All sin is illegal according to God's doctrine.
Yes, Christians who sin can be forgiven, but repentance is required. (1 John1: 5-10, .......9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.......... 1 John 2:1-2.. NKJV)
Forgiveness is available to all who meet God's terms for pardon. Faith-John 3:16, Repentance-Acts 3:19, Confession-Romans 10:9, Baptism-Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16.
DENOMINATIONAL ECUMENISM?  BY STEVE FINNELL
The contemporary movement formed to encourage cooperation between those denominations that believe Jesus is the Christ is the "Ecumenical Assembly"? Regardless of doctrinal differences those with the ecumenical mindset join together to feed and clothe the poor, gather together for preaching God's word, study God's word, and various other joint religious activities. Is that consistent with God's plan? Is believing that Jesus is the Christ the only essential doctrine of Christianity? I do not believe so.
Can you imagine the apostle Paul being involved in an "Ecumenical Assembly" with the Church of Judaizers, the Church of The Resurrection Is Past, or the Church of Knowing Only the Baptism of John?
1. The Church of Judaizers: Acts 15:1-5 And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses you cannot be saved.".........5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believe rose, saying, "It was necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."(NKJV)
The Judaizers believed that Jesus was the Christ. The apostle Paul did not join in joint efforts with them to feed and clothe the poor. Paul did not join in preaching the gospel, church revivals nor Bible studies with them. What Paul did, do, was condemn their doctrine, and point out their eternal abode. Galatians 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified  by law; you have fallen from grace.(NKJV)
Simply believing that Jesus is the Christ does not qualify anyone as a coworker in Christ.
2. Church of The Resurrection is Past: 2 Timothy 2:17-18 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.(NKJV)
The apostle Paul did not encourage the followers of Jesus to join in ecumenical endeavors with the Church of of the Resurrection is Past, he said the opposite. 2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings...(NLKV)
Note: Hymenaeus and Philetus strayed from the truth. They did believe that Jesus was the Christ.
3. Church of Knowing Only the Baptism of John: Acts 18:24-26 Apollos.....25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla head him , they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.(NKJV)
Apollos was not permitted to continue preaching false doctrine, he was taught the truth. Simply believing that Jesus is the Christ is not good enough.
The apostle Paul came upon some of the men Apollos had taught incorrectly. And taught them the truth. They were baptized into Christ. John's baptism was no longer valid. (Acts 19:1-5)
The apostle Paul did not engage with ecumenical activities with the Church of Knowing Only the Baptism of John until they were taught and believed the true gospel plan of salvation.
Why do believers in Christ join "Ecumenical Assemblies" with denominations that hold various and sundry doctrines?
Ecumenical Assemblies include those who pray to the Virgin Mary, those who deny that immersion in water is essential to salvation, those who believe once saved always saved, those who believe only a select few have been individually selected for salvation, those who believe there are many ways to heaven other than Jesus.
Should the Lord's Church participate in feeding and clothing the poor, joint Bible studies, and other religious activities with those who teach doctrine contrary to the apostles doctrine?
The apostle Paul was not an advocate for "Ecumenical Assemblies". Romans 16:16-17.....The churches of Christ greet you. 17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned and avoid them.(NKJV)
Simply believing that Jesus is the Christ is not enough, Satan and his demons believe that.
What Do We Know Of Mary Magdalene?
GEORGE L. FAULL
1.       After she had seven demons cast out of her, she ministered to Jesus with many women.Luke 8:2-3, “2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.”
2.                 She was at the cross.Mark 15:40, “There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;”
John 19:25, “Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.”
3.                 She saw Him buried.Matthew 27:61, “And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.”
Mark 15:47, “And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.”
4.                 She and other women were approached by angels at the tomb and they went and told the Apostles.Matthew 28:1, 8, “1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.”
Mark 16:1, 7, “1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. 7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.”
Luke 24:8-10, “8 And they remembered his words, 9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.”
5.                 She told Peter and John that the tomb was empty and went and showed them.John 20:1-10, “1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.”
6.                 Jesus appeared to her.Mark 16:9-11, “9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.”
John 20:11-17, “11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”
7.                 She told the disciples she saw Jesus.John 20:18, “Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.”
8.                 She is not mentioned in Acts or the Epistles.
In light of the above, it is pure evil conjecture to advocate as the Da Vinci Code and others do, that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were lovers and had children.  To say so is the same evil doing of those who have Him have a homosexual relationship with John because it calls John, “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” (It is John who calls himself that in humility rather than using his own name.  John 19:26, 20:2, 21:7, 20)
In my judgment, hell is not hot enough for those who slander Jesus as a homosexual or a fornicating secret lover of Mary Magdalene.  Likewise Joseph Smith, the fornicating prophet said that Jesus was married to Martha and her sister, Mary.  Isn’t it interesting that men seek to paint Jesus  with the same brush they themselves are painted?

[8]He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
[9]That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
[10]He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Note: The Light refers to Christ Jesus
The Darkness also refers to Satan. This represents the two (2) main Kingdom in this Universe
And This Kingdom are not in the same standard simply because they have different Kings and the how they act and operates

The Invisible things refers to the HIDDEN things.
Clearly Seen means The Revelation God Almighty have revealed or shown.
Without general revelation, special revelation would lack that basis in the fundamental knowledge of God as the mighty and wise, righteous and good maker and ruler of all things, apart from which the further revelation of this great God's interventions in the world for the salvation of sinners could not be either intelligible, credible or operative.
Psalms 119:105
[105]NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

CALVINISTS & THEIR PRIVATE INTERPRETATION OF SCRIPTURE  BY STEVE FINNELL
Calvinists believe the Bible as long as they can practice their private interpretations of Scripture.
Example: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJV)
Calvinists Private Interpretation: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever God selects for salvation shall not perish but have everlasting life and whoever God selects to burn in hell, will not have everlasting life.
Example: Acts 2:38 Then Peter said, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.(NKJV)
Calvinists Private Interpretation: (Acts 2:38) Then Peter said, "Repent for the remission of sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ because you sins have already been forgiven. You received the gift of the Holy Spirit the very minute you believed.
Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God  and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they shall fall away, to renew then again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to open shame. (NKJV)
Calvinists Private Interpretation: (Hebrews 6:4-6)  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift to fall from grace, because once in grace always in grace. Those who have appeared to have fallen from grace were never saved.
Example: Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. (NKJV)
Calvinists Private Interpretation: (Ephesians 2:8-9) For by grace you have been saved through faith. Salvation is not the gift given by God. God give certain individuals the gift of faith so they can believe and be saved. Being baptized in water, by another person, is a good work; therefore it is not essential to be baptized in order to be saved.
Example: Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,(NKJV)
Calvinists Private Interpretation: (Titus 2:11) For the grace of God brings salvation only to the elect that have been selected by God. God will choose those who will receive grace. There will be no free-will.
The only cure for private interpretations of Scripture is to have pride removed from a person's heart.

1611 KING JAMES ONLY   BY STEVE FINNELL
The position that the original 1611 King James Bible is the only accurate version of God's written word is an opinion which is neither supported by fact nor by practice. The original 1611 King James Version included the 14 Apocrypha Books. Most Bible translators do not consider the Apocrypha Books to be Scripture. The 1611 King James Version found in most book stores is actually the 1769 Baskerville Birmingham revision.
The following is an exact copy of Genesis from the original 1611 King James Version. Do those who claim that the original King James Version is the only accurate translation read from the original. No, they do not.

There are 60 plus English Bible translations which contain the gospel plan of salvation. Not understanding the Bible is not a translation problem, it is a pride problem.

ONLY GOD FORGIVES SINS    BY STEVE FINNELL
Contrary to what men believe, only God can forgive the sins that have been committed against Him. Joseph Smith nor Brigham Young can forgive sins. Catholic priests cannot forgive sins. Lutheran ministers cannot forgive sins. There are no men dead or alive who can forgive the sins that men commit against God.
ONLY GOD FORGIVES SINS!
Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.
ONLY GOD FORGIVES SINS!
Micah 7:18 Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity...
Only God pardons iniquity. Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, Catholic priests, nor Lutheran ministers have the authority to pardon iniquity.
Daniel 9:98 To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him;
Mankind has rebelled against God and He alone can grant forgiveness.
THE SCRIBES UNDERSTOOD ONLY GOD COULD FORGIVE SINS!
Mark 2:6-11..the scribes...7...He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone? ....10 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins"---He said to the paralytic, 11 "I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home."
The problem with scribes was they did not realize that Jesus was God in the flesh. Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, Catholic priests, Lutheran ministers, nor any other men, are or were, God in the flesh.
DID JESUS GRANT THE APOSTLES THE AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS? NO HE DID NOT.
Acts 8:18-22 ....20 But Peter said to him....22 Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.
The apostle Peter did not grant forgiveness to Simon, he told Simon to pray to God for forgiveness. Note, Simon was already a Christian.
THE PROOF TEXT.
John 20:19-23 ....23 If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain  the sins of any, they have been retained."
Jesus was not giving Peter and the rest of the apostles the power to grant forgiveness of sins to men on an individual bases, Jesus was not ordaining them as priests with that power. Jesus was giving Peter and the apostles the authority to proclaim the terms for forgiveness of sins. Peter and the apostles did just that on the day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:22-41...36 Therefore let the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ---this Jesus whom you crucified. 37...Peter and the rest of the apostles....38 Peter said to them , "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.)
Peter and the apostles did not forgive sins on the Day of Pentecost nor on any subsequent day. They declare God's terms for pardon.
FAITH: John 3:16
REPENTANCE: Acts 2:38
CONFESSION: Romans 10:9-10
WATER BAPTISM: Acts 2:38
Christians are not asked to confess to Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, Catholic priests, Lutheran ministers, nor any other men, in order to have their sins against God forgiven!
Christians are to confess their sins to God in order to receive forgiveness. (1 John1:5-9 ....God is light... 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from unrighteousness.)
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between men, the man Christ Jesus,
The only priest standing between men and God is the high priest, Jesus Christ.
NOTE: Confessing sins and asking God for forgiveness is only available to Christians. Non-Christians must have FAITH, REPENT, CONFESS JESUS AS LORD, BELIEVE IN HIS RESURRECTION AND BE BAPTIZED IN WATER IN ORDER TO THEIR SINS FORGIVEN.
ONLY GOD FORGIVES SINS!

Shalom!! ** The Gospel and the Promise in it* John1:29)-The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said ,Behold the Lamb of GOD who takes a way the sin of the world. (Isaiah 53&4-6)-Surely our griefs He Himself ,and sorrow He afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our well being fell up on Him,And by His scourging we are healed ,All of us like sheep have gone astray .Each of us has turned to his own way .But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. (Luk 24:46-47)-And He said to them "Thus it is written that Christ Jesus would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nation's begging from Jerusalem. (Acts 5:30-32)- The God of our Fathers raised up Jesus ,whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a Cross." He is the one who God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savoir to Grant repentance to Israel and forgivenes of sins:And we are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obeys Him. (Acts 13:38)- Therefore let it be know to you ,brother that through, Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. (Hebrews 9:28)- So Christ Jesus also ,having been offered once to bear the sins of many ,will appear a second time for Salvation without reference to sins,to those who eagerly await Him. (Romans 1:16-17)-for I am not ashamed of the gospel ,for it is the power of GOD for Salvation to everyone who believes ,to the Jew first and also to the Greek. for in it the righteousness of GOD is revealed from faith to ,faith as it written, But the Righteous man ,Shall Live by Faith. (Romans 8:1-4)- Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the laws of sin and death for what law could not do,weak as it was through the flesh ,GOD did sending His own Son In the likeness of sinful flesh and as a offering for sin,He condemned sin in the flesh. (1Peter 1:23-25) Will continue on next page (2)
