Devotions for the Month of April – The Resurrection and The Blessed Sacrament
Devotions for the Month of April The Resurrection and The Blessed Sacrament The Month of April is dedicated both to devotion to the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ and to the Holy Eucharist – the proof of the promise of the love of God and of ETERNAL LIFE. “My brethren, when was it that the Lord made Himself recognised? — When He broke the bread. — So, we ourselves are convinced, too,…

Jesus wept.....
How many times have I read this verse..... John 11:35
Really think about this... Lazarus died 3 days before.... Martha knew what God can do.... She knew nothing was impossible for God.... She saw all the miracles...
I am thinking why did Jesus wept... Lazarus was so dear to His heart. Jesus knew for 3 days that Lazarus died....maybe... The heartache of 3 days must have been so heavy to carry... Maybe... Jesus was talking to Elohim showing His heart for Lazarus.... There are so many maybe's...
Jesus wept..... Broke my heart... Look at this world today... So much hate... So much killing.. So much evil... So much abuse... So much rape... So much.......
What went wrong..... How did we loose our compassion... Our love for our neighbours, our joy, our sense for peace, our sense to care, our gift to love unconditionally...... and and....
Jesus wept....
I think Jesus must be weeping... So many lost souls... Rebellious souls.....
ADONAI I PRAY FOR SALVATION OF THE LOST!!!
Just if you do not know... Lazarus was raised after 3 days!!!! This is My Jesus...

Jesus' Compassion and Power The Raising of Lazarus John 11 Explained
"The Power of a Word: Jesus' Command in John 11"
In the Gospel of John, we encounter a powerful moment where the spoken word of Jesus brings a man back to life. John 11 recounts the death and resurrection of Lazarus, a narrative that not only reveals the compassionate nature of Jesus but also His supreme authority over life and death. The climax of this chapter is found in Jesus' simple yet profound command: "Lazarus, come forth" (John 11:43, KJV).
Tumblr media
When Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus had been dead for four days. The situation appeared hopeless; the mourning process was well underway, and the finality of death was evident. Even Martha, who expressed great faith in Jesus, was hesitant when He ordered the stone to be rolled away from the tomb, concerned about the odor of decay. Yet, Jesus had a purpose that went beyond the immediate grief—He intended to reveal the glory of God through an extraordinary miracle.
Before performing the miracle, Jesus prayed to the Father, not for His own benefit but for the sake of those standing by. He wanted them to believe that He was sent by God. Then, with a loud voice, He called out to Lazarus, who had been lifeless in the tomb. The power of Jesus' word alone was enough to reverse the decay, restore life, and bring Lazarus out of the tomb, still bound in his grave clothes.
This command, "Lazarus, come forth," is a powerful reminder of the authority of Jesus. Throughout the Gospels, we see instances where His word alone heals the sick, calms storms, and casts out demons. But in John 11, we see the ultimate demonstration of His power—His word brings the dead to life. This event not only confirmed Jesus' identity as the Son of God but also foreshadowed His own resurrection and the promise of eternal life for all who believe in Him.
For believers today, the story of Lazarus serves as a reminder of the life-giving power of Jesus' words. When we find ourselves in situations that seem beyond hope, when we feel spiritually dead or bound by circumstances, we can take comfort in knowing that Jesus' word is still powerful. He can speak life into our dead places, bringing hope and renewal where there was none.

HER STORY: Leaders in the Cause of Christ, Mary of Bethany
Mary said few words, but her passion and practice made a deep and lasting impact on Jesus’ heart and our understanding of discipleship. #MaryofBethany, #John11, #John12
Martha, Lazarus, and Mary were all disciples of Jesus, people who loved and followed Jesus, opened their home to Him, shared their table with Jesus in fellowship and enjoyed Jesus’ friendship as well as lived by Jesus’ teaching. Each had their own unique relationship with the Lord, yet together, as a family, they displayed all the aspects of a church. Especially the sisters, Martha and Mary,…

ULTIMATE CARE DEVOTIONAL⛪ OCTOBER 3,2022.

Today’s Theme: ⛪️ THE ESSENCE OF CHRIST’S DEATH
"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil "
Text: Hebrews 2:14
MESSAGE🍎
Essence is the intrinsic nature or indispensable quality of something, especially something abstract, which determines its character. Essence is something you cannot do without.
Christ death was indispensable. Our theme suggest why Jesus had to die?
The Bible says that “through death, Christ has destroyed him that had the power of death, that is the devil” (Hebrews 2:14).
Christ’s death has given us new life. Christ is the living and the true God.
“But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, an everlasting King, at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation” (Jeremiah 10: 10)
O child of God, death hath lost its sting, because the devil’s power over it is destroyed because our God is the living and the true God.
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”
(1 Corinthians 15: 55,57). Then, cease to fear dying. Ask grace from God the Holy Ghost, that by an intimate knowledge and a firm belief of thy Redeemer’s death, thou will be strengthened for that dread hour. Living near the cross of Calvary thou may think of death with pleasure, and welcome it when it comes with intense delight.
It is sweet to die in the Lord: it is a covenant-blessing to sleep in Jesus.
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me. Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; Yea saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them” (Revelation 14:13).
Death is no longer banishment, it is a return from exile, a going home to the many mansions where the loved ones already dwell (John 14: 2). The distance between glorified spirits in heaven and militant saints on earth seems great; but it is not so. We are not far from home—a moment will bring us there. The sail is spread; the soul is launched upon the deep.
How long will be its voyage?
How many wearying winds must beat upon the sail ere it shall be reefed in the port of peace?
How long shall that soul be tossed upon the waves before it comes to that sea which knows no storm?
Listen to the answer in 2 Corinthians 5: 8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” So, once absent from this sinful world means present with the Lord.
Yon ship has just departed, but it is already at its haven. It did but spread its sail and it was there (Jonah 1:3-5). Like that ship of old, upon the Lake of Galilee, a storm had tossed it, but Jesus said, “Peace, be still,” and immediately it came to land (Mark 4:35-39). Think not of a long period intervenes between the instant of death and the eternity of glory. Once the eyes close on earth they open in heaven. The horses of fire are not an instant on the road. Then, O child of God, what is there for thee to fear in death, seeing that through the death of thy Lord its curse and sting are destroyed? and now it is but a Jacob’s ladder whose foot is in the dark grave, but its top reaches to glory everlasting (Genesis 28:12). Thanks be to God.
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE ESSENCE OF CHRIST’S DEATH
1. Jesus, God’s son came to earth to make our reconciliation with God possible. Romans 5:10; Colossians 1:20-21.
2. Jesus, God’s Son came to earth to reunite us with God through the ultimate sacrifice; his own life. John11:52; Acts 17:26; Jeremiah 3:18; Romans 6:5
3. Jesus came to save the world of sin. John 3:17
4. He came to destroy him that has the power of death, that is the devil. Hebrew 2: 14
5. Jesus came to redeemed us from the curse of the law. Galatians 3:13
6. He came to give us new life in Christ Jesus. New life in Christ is the best gift we can ever receive. Romans 6:4; 2 Corinthians 5:17. 1 Peter 1:3
7. He came to deliver us from the power of darkness. Colossians 1:13
8. He came to give us everlasting life. Romans 6:23b
PRAYERS ♨️
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of Jesus. I thank you for the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary.
Father, by Jesus’ death on the Cross, whatever is not of your glory in my life, I curse it to die right now in the mighty name of Jesus.
And any good thing that was dead in my life and was for your glory in my body, soul and spirit, Lord by the Spirit of glory, I command them to resurrect right now in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
The God of restoration, restores peace, love, fruitfulness and glory in my body, soul and spirit in Jesus mighty name Amen.
Heavenly Father, empower me today with the blessings that redemption has purpose for me for the fulfilling of God’s will in my life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

HER STORY: Leaders in the Cause of Christ, Martha of Bethany
Martha was a woman of bold faith and blessed service, who was able to leave the conventions of her old life and enter into the grace and freedom Jesus offers. #Martha #John11 #Bethany
Years and years ago, when I was in a high school writing class, we were asked to write our own obituary. I remember us all laughing nervously, it sounded so macabre! But it was the teacher’s sideways device to get us to write about our hopes and dreams. What would we want to be remembered for someday? And it made me wonder what Martha would have wanted to be remembered for? Most of us remember…
