“Montana. Big Sky Country. The Treasure State. Folks got a lot of names for it. Me? I just call it home.”
This year marks the fifth anniversary of one of my favourite games of all time, Far Cry 5. This game is an absolute comfort, and I always find myself returning to it. I know Hope County like the back of my hand, but it always manages to surprise me.
Over the years I’ve created and recreated a number of props and other items from the game, and I see myself continuing to do so for years to come.
I went as Majima and my husband as Nishida, like last year. I wanted to go as Okita (from LaD: Ishin! best game, Ishin haters DNI), but only thing I was able to make was haori I was wearing on Sunday (I'll post better pics of it next time).
I brought you some photos - I was on extra lookout for fellow Yakuza cosplayers and found a few. Shout out to Kiryu cosplayer with red shirt and a card "I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. R1 + ▲", who was collecting signatures from "True Tojo Clan loyalists". I'm out of my secret Yakuza stickers and soon I'm gonna make brand new set (as a treat).
I also left some drawings on the walls, drank C.C. Lemon (it was good) and bought myself a ton of sweets.
Eddie dying but able to be brought back as either a shell of who he once was or a demon, and Steve expected the decision to be a lot harder than it was but the moment he saw demon Eddie he caved
Hi, I went to Fan Expo Portland and met Grace Van Dien and Joseph Quinn!
Grace truly is an otherworldly, kindhearted human being. All giggles and bounces with each other. Meeting her was the top of my list, and she was just incredible! I told her she was a bad bitch and she said that I smelt good 🥹
Joseph was v soft spoken (and I was an awkward lil duckie). He was very gentle, professional, and kind. I laugh because he’s not touching my back in the photo, but did give my back lil soft pats 😂
Such an amazing time, and everyone at the expo was so friendly 🫶🏼
Here's Part 2 of Joseph's photoshoot and the last shot at the end is me devastated by the news that Tango Gameworks who made this game has been shut down. TEW has their ups and downs but the story, the characters, the settings in general still allured me and I will always love that series. Here we had hope for the third game and for others a chance to see Joseph again like I do. Thank you for coming into my life The Evil Within.
