〔 2:17 A.M 〕

there are a number of people known to be awake at 2am and unfortunately, you're one of them. tonight had to be the day where you finally let go of your guard and break down into tears. you're not exactly sure why but luckily, you knew one person who would always listen to you rant at this time of hour.

you quickly dialed his phone number, hoping he would answer but at the same time you hate to disturb in such given time. what if joshua is sleeping and you decided to interrupt his slumber? opting to end the call, a voice interrupted your loud thoughts. everything fell back in silence when you heard him speak through the other line of the phone. his soft voice glazed over like honey but dropped down a few octaves ever since you woke him up. you froze into place, mouth shut making him think you were out. you need to answer, you have to answer.

"i-i'm sorry josh... this won't happen again."

"no, no, wait! don't hang up. i'll come over now."

you wanted to tell him no but he hung up. after a few minutes you heard the door bell rang and there stood the man you wanted to call so bad. you felt guilty. but all thoughts were pushed aside when you decided to give him a hug. his eyes were tired, ready to knock out cold from the energy he used earlier that day but he refused to show.

"tell me everything that happened. i won't let you go."
