ty for the question, anon!! sun isn't aware but it was a request put in by moon who still acts as night security and likely has some sway over where employees are/n't around the plex (probably citing random reasonings like conflicted interests and whatever boloney) he specifically had Starbright (y/n) put into DJMM's section so he could indirectly keep an eye over them (selfishly mind you) moon lies to sun's face over what occurred with y/n every day and sun knows he's lying but isn't sure what to do about it bc moon is moon it all comes from a "we do not want to be hurt by the inevitable" and the ever-favorite "we do not want to inevitably hurt you" so in short, yes they care, yes sun asks, moon wont tell and would rather keep you a dirty secret for him to go to the scrapyard with /j

Okay so you said when Sun finds out y/n is working somewhere else in the plex, he didn't have a reason to check if his programming let him leave the daycare, "up until that point at least :)"

Does this mean he tried to leave the daycare to see y/n? Did it work? Did he ever get to find them?

Moon lost his rights of taking patrols alone one evening after the kids left for the day and has since lost those rights. While Sun can climb, he's definitely not the spider that crawls about like Moon is, so your "reunion" with him is much more direct, if unintentional. -

You've finished up the last of your duties for the day, cabinets disinfected, wires repaired, unused sockets finally got those protective covers.

"Well, I think that's the end of it, what do you think, Lil' J?"

The little spider-like, cymbal possessing animatronic however doesn't respond with its usual jingle, the mini DJ Music Man has their sights locked onto something towards the dance floor...

You hear him before you see him. It's Sun talking animatedly to the big guardian of the arcade, DJ Music Man himself, who responds with clips and reels of other audio, giving you a nifty but cursed remix of varying songs.

Before you can think to hide behind the cabinet, instinctively picking up your companion on your way to stand as he otherwise likes to tail after your shadow, Sun turns towards you... And waves.

It's just a wave, nothing more, nothing less. Though his smile seems to soften a great deal upon spotting you.

You don't quite recognize what he's saying but the solar daycare attendant leaves not long after that, you think Lil' J waved to him in place of you. It didn't hurt as much as you thought it would, seeing him again, but frankly you thought it would have been Moon you saw first. -

Moon also gets a thorough reminder that Sun is not and was never a pushover, there's probably some paint missing here and there between the two But hey, at least Sun finds out! ...Eventually!
