More than just a kiss. Canadian-born artist #JoyceWieland's 1970 lithograph 'O Canada' bears the marks of her lipsticked lips as she sang the Canadian national anthem against the surface. A distinctly feminist critique of blind patriotism, this is just one example of the trope of the kiss in a number of artworks spanning the twentieth century. Proving that a kiss can take on many forms — as well as meanings — @LuxembourgDayan's group exibition #KissOff, opening February 23rd, includes a range of work by Marina Abramovicì and Ulay, Vito Acconci, Lynda Benglis, Patty Chang, Urs Fischer, Francis Picabia, and Andy Warhol, among others. #HappyValentinesDay
