Hi Bee!! Now that we’ve had a few days with folklore, what are your favs/skips?
Okay, here’s where I THINK I am, at present*:
(*please note even while typing this I had to change it a dozen times THIS IS HARD*)
1. Betty
2. August
3. The 1
4. Exile
5. Invisible String
6. Illicit Affairs
7. The Last Great American Dynasty
8. Peace
9. Cardigan
10. My Tears Ricochet
11. Seven
12. Madwoman
13. This Is Me Trying
14. Mirrorball
15. Epiphany
16. Hoax
I feel like I should also add the my only real skips right now are Epiphany (just not emotionally there enough to listen to that song repeatedly, no thank u) and Hoax (just hasn’t clicked??). I also feel like I may be missing some things with Madwoman and This Is Me Trying, which I feel like I’ll start to like more at some point, but I LOVE the others SO MUCH that I just can’t put them higher. But it’s not a diss to them.

I took advantage of my holiday by re-reading the princess diaries series in it’s entirety. It’s been YEARS, but they’ve always had a special place in my heart, for obvious reasons. It was SO fun to re-read and recognize where you drew inspiration for Comm (i.e. the Tina/Emma romance novel obsession), but mostly how you ultimately made your story wonderfully original. Just here to say that I desperately love Mia and Michael, but I’d pick your Lily and James over them every day of the week.

SACRILEGE not to pick Mia and Michael...butomgthxxx. ;)

A bit disappointed there has been no mention of boyfriend by molly raesly (2009!). Or tears on the balcony—I think those were my two first multi-chapter loves. I started reading around 13 and now I’m about to graduate uni. old habits die HARD, I guess :)
Yes, @mollyraesly! I definitely imbibed some Boyfriend. I never read Tears on the Balcony, but I think it was probably a lot of people’s first too!
