Cafe O42 @cafeo42 is for lads, peeps and your boyses!! This perfectly adequate rooftop has a unique ambiance. Situated in the heart of JT, the new eatery offer a lot for its size. The menu was full of scrumptious items, and I ordered the recommended 'the five bistro' burger plus 'platter deal'. Burger was simply top-notch stuff, full of exciting flavours with the right amount of sauces. The double chicken patties were quite juicy & soft and I loved it till the last bite. It came with salsa and mayo + fries on the side. . . . The platter contained a half grilled sandwich, a chicken wrap, a chicken samosa, 1 mint margarita, sauces and fries on the side. Apart from the samosa, everything was on point with the right flavour and I'd say an acquired taste. . . . We also had Doodh Pati at the end and it tasted fine as well. Life has a crush on me, I promise. So, I organised another tour and this time we went to #KumratValley Kumrat is simply ❤️ The place is full of pine trees. The Panjkora river runs through the valley and it is a mesmeric view. The current, the sound of water thrashing rocks on its way down. Everything is just full of nature around there. So, it was @smilesformiles.pk 5th tour and this time we chose #khanpurdam. The place has it's own charms including serene views and heart-warming #haroriver. The water was damn cold and clean on point. We enjoyed jet ski rides, swimming, water sports, fishing, boating, and most importantly cliff diving! // ILYAS DUMBA KARAHI & TIKKA SHOP // A heaven for lamb lovers @ilyasdumbakarahi. This kinda unusual eatery is situated near truck adda, sabzi mandi Lahore. We ordered 2kg karahi and selected our meat cut and saw it being cooked right in front of our eyes. It's a treat to watch all these flames plus the karahi is cooked on wood fire, so the taste is pretty awesome. Our food was full of flavour especially the flavoursome Qeema. Karahi had a bit of that usual lamb meat smell, but it was full of bursting flavours so we almost ignored it. **FOOD REVIEW** 🔸WHAT🔸 ➡️ Lazzat Mutton Karahi, Afghani Chicken bbq, Peshawari Kehwa + Gulab Jamun 🔸WHERE🔸 ➡️ MAALGA @maalgasocial 🔹REVIEW🔹 This place is the perfect blend of desi cuisine, culture heritage and theme restaurant. The usual trucker dhabba style restaurant has got some impeccable ambiance. The sitting arrangement is kinda attractive, all these little huts where you could just cozy yourself up. "Mutton Karahi" was full of flavours, the mutton chops were perfectly blemded into this thick spicy gravy, and I just loved it. It was cooked in our traditional Lahori style with green chillis and yougurt and other spices. "Afghani BBQ" was also a treat to eat. Perfectly balanced with saltand pepper, and it just melted in my mouth. So, the Peshawari Kehwa was so light to stomach, it kinda just digested all those heavy mains. Finally, hot gulab jamuns were served that ended the Iftar in the sweetest way possible. The staff at Maalga is a little untrained I must say, but the manager was hands-on. I think tge menu is fairly priced if we compare it to other eateries. The outlet at Gaddafi Stadium has a pretty decent ambience, open air + indoor both. I loved it. Chicken Karahi was pouring desi ghee and gave a perfect blend of taste. Malai boti and kebabs were average (that's not their speciality). Overall, it was a pretty good experience. *back again with another review* 🔸WHAT🔸 ➡️ Sehri Platter, Chicken Kebabs, Malai Boti 🔸WHERE🔸 ➡️ Quetta Fort 🔹REVIEW🔹 The place has a pretty decent ambience which reflects the traditional Balochi dhaba setup. The best part is you can buy traditional balochi sandals from the restaurant as they've showcased a huge variety of sandals in-house. Okay, so the sehri platter wasn't up to the mark as it was last year. It included a portion of boneless chicken handi that wasn't cooked well, it was dry and lacked flavour. Slices of mango pickles were almost useless. A double egg omelette went well with the paratha as it had that kick of tomatoes and green chilli. The lassi that came with the sehri deal was pretty decent. It was a perfect blend of yougurt and a little bit of milk. We also ordered seekh kebabs and they were fair enough. The kebabs lacked a bit of flavour and were dry but mint chatni complimented them perfectly. The malai boti was exceptional and it was close to the all famous Heera Charga's bbq in terms of flavour and tenderness.
