♡ How did you meet?

we met as students at the akademiya! and our love for each other was something that happened over time (years, actually). we’re very slow burn kadjnbgkfdbhnj

♡ What was the moment you both realized your feelings for each other?

hmm it’s hard to say bc our trope is friends to lovers, so everything we thought was platonic kinda blurs into romantic feelings and gestures. alhaitham realises his feelings for me much earlier than i do and for him, i think it was bc he found himself thinking about me and wanting to protect me more often than a friend should. it was accepting that i was emotionally unavailable at the time and being aware that .. ouch .. that actually hurts. for me, it was after we graduated. we didn’t go separate ways but we saw each other significantly less, and i started missing him A LOT. then suddenly everything that’s happened over the years just came crashing down on me and i realised i was in love w him :(

♡ Was there ever a time your relationship was tested? How did you overcome it?

honestly the slow burn leading up to becoming official was the test. it was literally years in the making. for more context, i get isekai’d into the genshinverse so another reason why im so uninterested in dating is bc i’ve lost my sense of permanence. i had a ‘there’s no point’ mindset. i mean, i literally lost my family, my home, MY WORLD. the last thing on my mind is a relationship with a man whom i could lose just as fast. we both overcame it bc we just went … fuck it. our love runs too deeply and eventually, i found a new sense of home through him :( he really filled in that big hole for me and actively tries to make my former world feel less out of touch

♡ What song, quote, or moment perfectly sums up your bond?

mouth of the eden — sabrina jordan. wahh im so excited to share this bc i think this is the ryuhaitham song. it’s such a beautiful track. the melody just makes me visualise greenery, adventure, fantasy, longing. the part about the river meeting the sea is almost like alhaitham and i being able to cross paths even though we’re from two different worlds <3

OH MY GOD YES !!! 🙏 Bestie, I’m literally relieved to know I wasn’t the only one thinking about this... 🙃 ever since we’ve been seeing more of Jace in S2, and the new trailers, posters, pics, etc— I haven’t stopped thinking about how Luke would look.

1) i also have to mention willemijn's that's the way it is !!! it's just BREATHTAKING !!! i've heard it several times now and it just never loses its power?????? i can't even describe it ahh !!

2) i really love may & frankie's duet whataya want from me like that is soo heartbreaking 😭😭

3) i really like the part where she talks really fast and is so sassy to william hehe so "nicht in einem satz erwähnt er mich, nich die kleinste art von anerkennung" etc and her "hey das hier ist ein monolog" iconic !!

4) i really looved the slowed down version of problem last night!!! chiara is so good!!! like all of them make you totally forget these are pop songs you've known for years

Whenever I imagine being married to Lucerys, or write for a reader married to him and I mention her wear jewellery — this is exactly what I imagine. The thought of it drives me mad because I imagine he would always pamper you with sweet jewellery, either dragon or seahorse themed and it would be SO pretty! 💗

Or maybe even some necklace like this? Either way, with Lucerys I can imagine you being married to him, and wearing rings, brooches, earrings — all sea related, or with pretty little seahorses. Wouldn’t that be such a sweet thing?! 😍
