So it’s currently 3:04am and I was just thinking about the Jr/Sih timeline. It’s safe to assume that if we take into consideration that they use up to date phones in newer chapters, that they’re both set in present day. So 2021, or 2020 at the very least. Based off of that logic, Misaki and Usagi have been together four years, so they would’ve initially met in 2016/2017, (Misaki then being born in 1999 and Usagi 1989).

With that being said, to my knowledge, the first time we see the countdown to Ritsu confessing his love to Takano is ‘364 days’ which is of course just under a year. But it’s also safe to assume that currently in sekaiichi hatsukoi Misaki is also working part time Marukawa.

That point in mind, there is then a chance that Ritsu began working at Marukawa in 2019, or at least 2020 at the very latest.

I know this doesn’t mean much but it was just interesting to me to look at Jr/Sih from the perspective that they are set in the current year.
