hi olivie! want to always say thanks so much for sharing the beautiful worlds inside your mind. i aM SO EXCITED for you about the short film screenplay! it was so funny when you mentioned in your latest video that no one needed your help last week bc it reminded me of a question rolling around in my brain about motivation/resisting fatalism, so I thought i’d reach out and ask about your thoughts! this is kind of gratuitous personal info (to borrow your phrase) but I recently got some bloodwork done (my first time as an adult!) and my primary wrote me saying my thyroid and vitamin D levels were below normal… so i googled (lol) symptoms of low TSH/vitamin D, and found they’re linked to fatigue, weight gain, irritability, issues focusing, depression, etc. and at first I was relieved like “FINALLY. now I know why I have all these problems!” (maybe like your 20/20 hindsight with equinoxes?) ACK sorry this is getting really long. But basically my question is: as someone who works really hard, how do you prevent yourself from falling into a thought-pattern of excuses? I’m so often tugged around by impulses/feelings/“i would prefer not to” moments and I don’t want these numbers/hormones to give me something to blame like “there’s an imbalance in my body so I’m going to give myself a pass today. I tried but I guess the ‘trouble-focusing’ symptom is acting up! Too bad.” thanks so much❤️

Dear Diary, 

lol This basically is my diary. I chose this blog, which I don’t mind others reading, instead of my very personal blog (which only 3 people have access to). Not many people know about this one, actually. It used to post the Facebook when i’d blog. But that feature somehow disappeared long  time ago. It does still share to Twitter, though.

This cough is lingering. I should be completely over this sickness by now. I’ve been so sleepy lately. I wake up, and within 1-3 hours i’m asleep again. Getting bad dizzy spells, and achy. I found out yesterday that i’ve not been on my thyroid meds, a few weeks or so now. That is probably the cause of my issues. 

It snowed yesterday, a fairly light snow. First snow of the season. I like a little snow every now and then. :)

This room...........Will it EVER get clean? Had it half way there, just a few things I need to find a place/put away. Things get piled up, overwhelming and I just have this dread when I think about trying to organize everything again. I need to fold and sort all this laundry, first. It’s getting in the way. 

I need to be able to wake up at  a decent time and STAY awake throughout the day. Then, I can get things done and get into a routine.

Sleep problems is aggravating. Fell asleep before 8pm last night. Woke up a around 5, a little before. Was asleep again by 7, woke up again at 8 and it’s 9am, starting to feel sleepy again. Impossible to get anything done like this. :( 

I haven’t felt great this week, so I didn’t donate plasma. There goes the $80 for the week. I’m start over Mon and Wed.. Just fairly broke until next week.

Was planning to have a short game night Friday and then a regular late night get together Saturday night. But the way i’m feeling, it might be best to skip this weekend and save it for next weekend. Just got a new game though.... I’ll see how I feel tomorrow. 

Ugh, I hope I don’t have to go back to sleep again.

So I call the police to come and take a report but of course there wasn't enough officers on duty to send one out so I wake up my brother to get a ride to the station. Keep in mind this is between 2:30-5:00am and the last time I actually saw my car was Sept 13, 2011 at approx 11pm. I arrive at the police station where I make a report, they take down all the info and send me home with the report. Approx 1 hour later they call me and say my vehicle was recovered in a nearby city and they gave me the number to that police station. So I hurry to call them but of course they were closed until 8am. At 8am I call them they said bring my ID and insurance info to recover the vehicle. I go down there and ask questions but they told me they weren't allowed to disclose any information about who, what, were, or when the incident occurred because of confidentiality. They told me I would have to pay the towing and storage fee to recover my car from the impound. So I left and went to the impound paid $218.00 to discover that my vehicle had been totaled. So I had it towed to my house where I called the insurance company to report this. After I reported this incident they took a recorded statement and gave me a claim number. I waited for 2days for my adjuster to call me back and he never did. about 2 weeks later my adjuster calls and leaves me a message saying he needed another recorded statement and to call him back. I call back and got his voice mail. I spoke to one of his colleagues and they said they would send him and his manager a memo to call me back..well that never happened. 1 week after that I get a packet in the mail asking for my cell phone records, keys to the vehicle, and a notarized affidavit. I sent these things back and then a detective from the insurance company calls me and said there were red flags and he needed to get a video recorded statement. I agreed and went to give the statement. A few days later a detective from the police department where my car was recovered from calls me and tells me that my youngest son's father was with some friends at a nightclub were a drive-by shooting occurred and my son's father wasn't shot but the young man he was with was and as a result of them trying to escape the scene my car was crashed. As they arrived to the scene and asked questions about what happened my son's father would not admit he was driving the vehicle, and because they didn't actually see him driving or pull him over they could not prosecute. The detective asked me did I know anything about this incident and I replied hell no! The night of the incident my son's father had came to my house around 3am but never mentioned anything of course because he knows I would have tried to kill him. He also knows I would have been pissed because I never let him drive my car for the 3 years that I have known him, he has never had a license. She ask me was it ok to list him as a suspect and I told her Yes! I let her know that he did not have permission to drive my car under any circumstances. The very next day the detective from the insurance company called me and ask me what was my son's father name and what where the numbers that where called on my cell phone records. He asked why did he call me at 2:54am, I explained he wanted to let me know he was on his way over which wasn't out of the ordinary for him to do. So then the detective tells me my story stinks and I need to withdraw my claim because on my interview I didn't disclose that my boyfriend had come to my house. I told him why did I need to disclose who was sleeping in my bed if it had nothing to do with my car. I mean we know now he had something to do with it but I didn't know then. He told me the police detective also had the keys to my car which was a lie. It clearly states on the impound record that they had no keys. Not to mention the car has broken locks and loose wires I guess he didn't read that part of the report. He also told me I was trying to cover for my son's dad to get the car covered. I told him he could arrest him for GTA for all I care. My car was stolen and no matter who stole it I'm the victim and of course I want my car covered. He then said he was denying the claim and sending the case to the Department of Insurance to see if fraud was committed. Im beyond frustrated because I have nothing to do with what my son's dad did. Should I sue?""

Woke up with a terrible headache this morning. Never happens. Wasn’t gonna go to work. But anxiety about the job sent me in. Now though...

But I found out he published another article (not peer-reviewed) but I knew nothing about it. And that’s one reason I hate this guy so very much. I’m supposed to help him but he won’t let me. He literally only gives me time to chastise me with a laundry list of things I’ve done wrong. He saves them up. So in 9 months, he’s met with me twice, the sole purpose being to criticize me. But how can I do my job if that’s the only time you’ve given me? In 9 months, I think I’ve spent maybe 10 hours with him total. Also, he’s a bad manager and a hypocrite. But whatever. The point is, it’s killing me that I can’t do my job as well as I could.

But my anxiety has kept me from getting any job apps out too.

Hopefully my new laptop comes today b/c I started trying to catch up on Black Mirror. First of all, it was a bbc show before netflix. Those netflix and hulu originals lies irk me. Second, I read something (not that it wasn’t already shoved in my face on netflix) that talked about season 4′s’ star trek episode is really awesome and deserves a spinoff. I’d gotten stuck on a season 3 episode b/c it was so uncomfortable. Yet, I hadn’t gotten past 5 minutes so I had no idea.

It was the one with the kid that gets blackmailed into running errands so no one sees he jacked off. That was a fucked up episode. Need to cover the camera on the laptop and use vpns and shit. Saw the one after that too. I’m not sure about a world you can live in forever, even after body death. Esp b/c that world seems so small. And it sounded like after a while people stopped *living* even there.

Earlier I went for a walk. Not trying to time myself, just get out of myself. It was a good, but emotional walk. I love that I feel things so much (hypersensitive, I think it’s called) but I hate it. Basically, the things I think are my gifts are also the things I think are my curses. I spent quite some time wondering. This morning I had a different take on the same wondering. Perhaps, psychiatry wasn’t as advanced when I was a child? Or more likely, my mental shit was the same as my physical shit. Like when my PCP, the one who saved my life, wouldn’t address anything else until we had my thyroid levels settled b/c the thyroid has so many important functions that mimic other issues, or vice versa. Maybe we couldn’t get to this point in my mental health issues until I’d gotten this far? I don’t know. It just seems so fucking obvious now that I can’t understand.

So what would I say? Major general depression, anxiety, abusive (physically and emotionally) childhood, neglect (I was trying to look up the one that blew me away on Rizzoli & Ives. Can’t find it, but there was a lot of different types of neglect apparently, including abandonment, in my childhood), hypersensitivity, avoidance personality disorder (apparently you have to have a personality disorder to have these subtypes of things), etc etc... Social awkwardness, lol. Fear of hypochondria. Dysfunctional executive function.

I think there’s more but I’m not going through my old posts just to summarize how fucked up I am. On the one hand, I feel like beyond fucked up. On the other hand, I’m looking at that list and it seems a bit much. I mean, am I really *that* fucked up?

I feel pretty normal and rebel against the list. On the other hand, I have no friends and no one has ever loved me. So... I guess I really am that fucked up.

I also decided yesterday not contact that chick. I mean, apologizing would make me feel better. “I’m sorry that we were both going through rough times and I wanted to fix yours and you wouldn’t do what I said and my life started getting a little better and I didn’t want to hang around someone who appeared not to want to fix her problems. Clearly, this all boils down to me a) not recognizing that being a good friend doesn’t mean fixing people’s problems for them, b) I didn’t know how to communicate what I was feeling and c)bottom line, I was a shit friend.’ But what then? Do I want to try to reignite a relationship? Not really. Right now I’m just trying to get out of bed every day. I just want her to be happy, and to know I know I was wrong (and have known for years). But I don’t need to open a can of worms, so I should just leave it alone. For now at least. Maybe in the future...

I hate when I think about how much good music I’ll never have heard. How much has been lost to the ages, too.

I should stop avoiding work now.

Oh, but I was thinking the last few weeks that maybe (if I can fix myself) I want a relationship again. Although I’m not sure if it’s spring fever or hormones or whatever. I mean, I swore off love in, I think 2012. Actually that’s not that long ago. Feels longer. I know it was within a year after my mother died. I mean, it hurts when you lose your best friend/mentor/research faculty/her animals/her kid. But also, she wasn’t really capable of giving me much of anything. So should I swear off any kind of emotional intimacy for the rest of my life b/c of one person?

Also, yes I recognize how ridiculous I sound from the top of this post to the bottom. I don’t know what I want. I don’t know what I’m capable of. I don’t know what I deserve.

it’s been a while since i posted a picture of my dog Rocky, and i’ve never posted a pic of my cats Kisa or Wind, so I thought i’d just do that while i’m booping around on tumblr xD give you guys a break from kpop :’D 

I’m gonna talk about all my pets and stuff, and it’s gonna get loooooong so feel free to ignore it xD imma put it under a cut~

Kisa is my baby <3 she was born next to me and i’ve had her the entire 12 years she’s been on this earth ;u; she’s nuttier than a kitten and climbs the walls when she’s had a whiff of catnip. She can also jump 6ft straight up and can jump about the same horizontally, haha! You would never know she was 12 years old if you saw her running around being her crazy self xD

I haven’t had Wind her whole life, only about 15 years or so! (only 15, haha)  She’s deaf now, but she still gets around surprisingly well and loves to be petted and brushed (which is a good thing because she’s decided in the last 6 months or so that grooming isn’t something she needs to do because she has people for that OTL) she also likes to yell at me when i’m not getting her food to her fast enough :’D she’s a little underweight atm, but we did bloodwork at the vet and her bloodwork looks great???? no thyroid issues o: she did have a slight heart murmur tho so she’s on meds for that now :’D i do everything i can for her and she seems to be doing good! noisy old lady cat pfft

I’ve talked quite a bit about Rocky on here <3 he’s also my baby! I rescued him from being put down at the shelter when he was about a year old, and i’ve had him almost 5 years now ;u; he’s been having some problems in the last year or so with his spine and hips, but we’re managing it pretty well. Some days are better than others :c i’m just trying to keep him as happy and healthy as i can for as long as i can, and it seems to be going okay so far!

The cat pictured above was Callie.  I think i’ve mentioned my other cat Callie before? Not sure, haha~ Callie was a cat i found as a kitten up in the mountains close to where I live.  She was living in a feral colony in the woods that was being fed by an older lady in a trailer :’D it was my 7th birthday and I asked my parents if I could take her home, since our previous cat, Sweetie, had had to be put down due to a fast growing cancerous tumor in her throat a couple of years before, leaving us cat-less.  My parents finally agreed and we loaded Callie up and took her home.  She wasn’t actually the kitten I wanted, but she was sick, and i think that’s the only reason the lady could catch her xD it worked out well, though, because we got her all doctored up and had her for 16 interesting years.  She wasn’t always a friendly cat.  Most of the time she’d rather bite or scratch than be petted, but I loved her anyways.  She was my fat, grumpy old lady, and she mellowed out some as she got older.  about a year ago, though, we noticed a lump on her belly... this lump progressively got bigger and ended up being a tumor.  We really let it go on too long and I regret that, but I finally got the tumor removed.  Callie, despite being 16 years old, made it through the surgery okay and healed up great.  i was very optimistic about her having a few more years in her, and was fully prepared to do whatever I could to keep her going, but a few weeks after we had her tumor removed, she started having trouble breathing :c we took her back to the vet and found out she had fluid around her lungs.  They drew the fluid off and it turned out to be lymphoma.  I had the fluid drawn off once a week for several weeks, and she managed to make it through new years, but more and more problems started popping up, and she was in so much pain I decided to have her put down.  Even now, months later, I still tear up looking at pictures or videos of her.  16 years of my life I spent with this grumpy cat who wanted to be on your lap every time you sat down, but didn’t want you to touch her half the time, and suddenly she was gone.  I still miss you, Callie :c it took a long time for me to stop looking for her when I came home, and there’ll always be a Callie-shaped hole in my home that no other animal will be able to fill

...moving on to less sad things, i also have a few more pets that you guys have never seen on here :’D i have two gerbils, both girls, named Kaipo and Orin! Kaipo is a nutmeg, and Orin is a polar fox <3 they’re super cute and sweet and i love them lots ;u; i also have a russian dwarf hamster named Mama Dragon that i brought home from the pet store where i work because she was too mean to sell, and i love her to bits <3 i won her over with treats and we’re buds now LOL 

recently i’ve added a couple of betta fish to my family as well! the first one is named Bubbles, and i brought him home from the pet store because he was so small he couldn’t eat the normal sized betta pellets! I’m thinking now that he was just young, because he’s grown a LOT and is definitely big enough to eat them now xD he’s beautiful and such a sweetheart <3 

The other betta is Lotus, and i brought him home because he had some pretty bad fin rot and swim bladder disorder, which caused him to float at the top of the tank and list to the side like he was dead :c within a few weeks, though, I got him swimming normally and now he’s a happy lil guy <3 working on getting his weight back up and his fins grown back out! I love him so much ;u; he’s super pretty, i’ll have to post pics/videos of him and Bubbles sometime <3

april: week four

24: i felt bloated in the morning and my body woke up at 6:30 am. i laid in bed for a bit and then got up and did 30 minutes of cardio. it was a good session. i felt much better after. then i showered, ate breakfast, and said goodbye to kevin. i caught an even later train at 8:45 am and i still got to the office at around 9:15 am LOL. is it worth going early anymore...? it’s nice not to rush too much in the morning. i shared the pocky i got yesterday with everyone. charles hated it, cole liked it, and steve said he liked it too. steve never had original pocky so i will definitely bring him some! it’s still too grape-y imo. we did a bit of work and then charles, cole, and i walked over to the gogi on the block food truck at around 11:15 am and got rice bowls and yuja smoothies. mmm. the rice bowl with bulgogi was yummy! i would get it again, but it wasn’t like amazing. it’s definitely something i would recommend though. :) cole and charles really liked it too! i had lunch with the dev guys and then headed back to the office for a 12 pm call.

i worked real hard for the rest of the day. i made sure to get what i wanted to get done before leaving the office. i got to leave a bit early too because i was so productive. yay me! i walked to south station with cole and he actually wanted to get food from mcdonald’s. so we went and we stopped by the coin souvenir cranks and cole gave me 50 cents to get me a boston tea party one! thanks! :) two homeless guys came up to us during our visit to south station. i think it’s because we stopped walking. anyway, cole ate and we talked for a bit. then we caught our trains. cole got pulled over by police for a random bag check? i didn’t know they had those in boston??? still confused about it, but i got home and then chilled for a bit. then i did my exercise, showered, and cooked dinner! it’s been such a long time since i’ve made dinner. of course, i made the kale coconut stir fry and then kevin got back from climbing, showered, and we ate dinner while watching black mirror. this episode was about social status via likes and ratings and it was lulz. kevin didn’t like the episode because all the characters weren’t likable. then we called it a really early night. we both went to sleep at around 11 pm. kevin was tired from staying up and gaming LOL.

25: both kevin and i woke up at 7 am. well, i woke up and i went back to sleep...and kevin stayed up listening and watching a game in the dota tournament that’s going on. i got out of bed at 8 am and then did 30 minutes of hip hop cardio. then kevin made us breakfast, we ate, he continued watching games, and i went to shower off and then we were out the door at 9:10 am. my doctor is now located 3-5 minutes away from the apartment and we drove there and got lost because it was a large suburban company area... we found the tuft’s branch at the end of the long road. i was a bit late because we did get lost but everything went smoothly. i got blood work done again just to make sure i don’t have any deficiencies, thyroid problems, etc. she guessed that i may have celiac disease? but i’m not allergic to gluten? hmmm. well, the blood tests will let me know. kevin picked me up and then we continued our work day from home.

the day went by pretty quickly. i got all of my work done. kevin and i had a spontaneous nap session for like 10 minutes or so lol. then i went to exercise. i’m noticing that regular pilates and focused ab workouts don’t tire me out as much anymore. i did about 40 minutes of just abs and i felt like i wanted to do more cardio. x__x; kevin started cooking because we were just so hungry throughout the entire day? i’m guessing kevin was hungry because his body wasn’t used to waking up at 7 am. i was hungry because... i don’t even know... well, i showered and then we ate while watching black mirror. my favorite episode is still ‘white christmas.’ this one was interesting and scary af though. kevin went to game and i took this extra time (it was only 9 pm!!!) to play ‘bravely default’ and look at my finances, ahha. i brushed my teeth and went to bed at around 11 pm. yay. go me!

26: it was so dark outside. i thought i woke up at 5 am but it was 7 am... i got up and then did a hiit workout and it was intense af. o__o i think it’s because i haven’t been pushing myself enough this week (i think i overdid it last week though). i felt really good afterward. it’s all about finding the right balance. i showered, ate breakfast, said goodbye to kevin, and then got on the train at like 8:45 am and got to the office at 9:17 am. mathew was there but i was the second one in...LOL. notice that i’m taking the train later and later. x__x; anyway, i thought i would be super unproductive because of the weather but i got pulled into dave and mathew’s brainstorming session and then got to catch up with phil and got new work to do. it was exciting! haha i’ve been on that video and tutorial grind for too long now. we broke for lunch and dave had to get into a call. i microwaved my food, ate it at my desk, and then took a walk outside. i got rained on the last minute and ran back in. then i had a good long call with phil about moving forward.

i worked on some tasks left to me in the call for the rest of the day and then left work a bit before 5 pm. i was the last one out (besides michelle who was on a call). i thought kevin was supposed to go climbing today but he didn’t and i got to south station way earlier than him. i took it home because he still had some work to get done. :< i was a bit sad because i love taking the train home with him. i got back, picked up a package (which was the mug replacement that kevin got for me <333) and then chilled and waited for him to get home. he was feeling sick and tired and we ended up napping on the bed for about 1-2 hours LOL. we woke up a few times and one of those times, i just forced him back to sleep with me HAHAHA. we got up at 8 pm and then i was a bit grumpy but i exercised it off while kevin cooked salmon and bok choy for dinner. we ate and watched another episode of black mirror. ugh, all of the protagonists are so unlikeable right now. i liked yesterday’s episode more than this one. then kevin got on a call with haoqi while i played some bravely default. i stayed up a bit after kevin finished his call and went to sleep before 12 am.

27: i did a tabata workout this morning and then decided i should curl my hair because it was looking odd and flippy this morning. i still made it to the 8:45 am train, ate my breakfast, said goodbye to kevin (he was wfh today), and got to the office at 9:12 am? what? then cole and i headed over to kane’s donuts and got the office half a dozen doughnuts because it was a beautiful thursday :) we got a(n): apple fritter, butter crunch, old fashioned glazed, snickers, honey blueberry pie, and boston cream doughnut. the butter crunch was delicious and i didn’t like the pie one that much. we got the last apple fritter, huhuhu. i talked to steve and cole about real estate, food, and then the lakes? haha. then i went and started my day. i had a quick customer call that went well and then i worked on finishing up something from yesterday and continuing with tutorial stuff. we had an odd standup that wasn’t an actual standup but it the actual standup got canceled? haha. then i spent some time ordering my mom’s mother’s day gift on the phone (this thing was sold out online, not in the closest store to me, and was the last one in the store i called to order it).

i signed up for book of the month club (so excited) and i also took a short 10 minute walk to enjoy the warming weather. cole got real angry at the business men today because they mistook him for the pizza delivery guy in the rudest way -__-’ anyway, i had lunch at my desk and watched some youtube videos. then i went back to work. i felt that food coma coming on but i just kept going. i finished all of my work early and then me and cole walked over to south station. he went to meet with his sister for dinner and then i took the train home to kevin :) kevin finished cooking and then took a really long nap. i think he napped from 6 to 9 pm. i did my workout, showered, ate by myself because he was still sleeping LOL, watched the newest episode of jane the virgin, and planned things with hillary and daniel for their weekend in boston. then i woke kevin up, he ate dinner, and i went to bed while he stayed up playing some games. i don’t think he stayed up too late though.

28: i forgot to set an alarm for myself this morning but both me and kevin woke up at 7:30 am! i did my work out at 8:30 am and then started my day. kevin made me breakfast -- he took a sick day today because he wasn’t feeling well. then i did some work and played a bit of bravely default. today bae and phanpy are flying over and i can’t wait! it was a really chill work day. although, i did miss out on connecting with phil at the end of the day, which made me feel bad. x( kevin and i had to meet up with hillary and daniel to get their luggage though so they could make it to the game on time. so we hopped on the train and waited for them (their bus was experiencing some rush hour traffic). we met up with them and then sent them right off :) kevin and i took their luggage back and then i exercised and kevin cooked. then i showered and kevin continued gaming. i spent the night just chilling and gaming and then preparing the bed and towels and stuff for them. they came back at around 9 or 10 pm and then i just talked with them until 1 or 2 am. lol i got real tired though. kevin hit the hay real early too. zzzzz.

29: daniel and hillary woke up hella early and worked out. i woke up at around 9 or 10 am and then did a 45 minute work out while hillary did some homework. daniel left to grab breakfast with his friend in the morning. we waited for kevin to get out of bed (this boy woke up at 4 am and watched a dota game until 6 am). then we headed over to the sowa open market and met up with daniel there. the moment we got there, we realized all of us were pretty hungry so we yelped a place and found out that ‘area four’, a place that hillary looked up earlier in the morning for brunch, was nearby! so we walked there and got the best freaking service ever. the decor was also bomb and so was the food. i loved it there. :) hillary and daniel got the hong kong waffle and breakfast pizza. kevin and i got the deep fried apples and caramel and a hot mess skillet. yummm. daniel got the swipe right drink, which was an orange vanilla flavor mint drink? it was pretty delicious. the owner didn’t charge us for kevin’s oj and daniel’s beer. so nice! they also let daniel sample beer! wowow. i can go on and on.

after we paid, hillary and daniel got a lyft to fenway and then kevin and i went back to the market to see if we could get any produce. turns out there’s no produce at the market but we got a loaf of sun-dried tomato and garlic bread from when pigs fly. then we headed back home. we relaxed for a bit and then planned meals for the week and then drove over to lucky fortune grocery store where we kinda figured that the produce there wasn’t better than kam man but they just had a wider selection. i got a bit grumpy because we had to make a stop at kam man anyway but i apologized and we worked it out. ><” sorry about getting mad about the little things. i just wanted to be efficient. we only spent $15 or so on our groceries this week ;D haha. hillary and daniel came back at around 8 pm and then we drove to shaking crab only to find out that it was hella packed O_O so we went to fat cat and ordered out. i feel like it was a win-win situation. ;P

i got the ahi tuna wrap and kevin got the lobster mac and cheese. daniel got the lobster mac, hillary got the thai mussels, and they shared calamari. they devoured everything O_O omg, so impressive. kevin and i called it a night pretty early? i had trouble sleeping because of all the salt and food in my tummy, but i felt super sleepy a couple hours after eating. daniel watched some streams on his phone while hillary did homework.

30: we all slept in LOL. hillary and daniel headed into the city at around 12 pm to explore and get pastries and kevin and i left for worchester’s vegfest shortly after. the drive was interesting because we experience super warm and sunny weather then cloudy weather then slight rain and then pouring rain LOL. it was so cold by the time we got there. T_T but we got there and it was packed af. we got some delicious italian ice, tried some kombucha, bought some vegan cheese :O, and realized that we hate being in crowded busy places LOL. i saw people eating fomu ice cream so we tried to track it down but it was too late. they were packing up when we found them. i also went into the bathroom and it was disgusting and people are so mean. :( the lady that got out of the stall before me clogged the toilet with toilet paper and didn’t even bother to tell me so i went in the stall and came out and told the lady after me that the toilet is clogged and not to go in there and she just assumed that i did it and said “gross.” wtf. anyway, we decided to get into the long af line to the vegan treats bakery booth and also got a carrot dog on the wait there! lol it was literally a carrot in a hot dog bun lawls. it was really good with the sauce and toppings though! the hot dog bun itself was delicious.

i got a hazelnut notella cheescake, coconut rice pudding, chocolate-covered cannoli, and chocolate chip cannoli for $28 T___T LOL the french pastries were super expensive, but eh, yolo right? the cheesecake was my favorite and the cannolis were pretty good. kevin never had a cannoli but he has now and he really likes them :P we drove back in time to park and walk to hojoko. we had an argument on the way back about how i make him / other people feel dumb when asking questions (lol he asked a very inquisitive question) and i responded negatively, but we’ve talked about this and i really did try to bring the conversation back, but at that point, kevin was just frustrated at me, but it’s okay, we talked it out and i will continue trying. :) we ordered the wasabi roulette, kimchi fried rice, uni toast, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba to share. the portion sizes are small for 4 people but still yummy! i was the one who got the piece with 2 grams of wasabi T__T but the horchata baby bottle was A+! haha.

daniel got the dahk n’ stormy and a beer. i got the tokyo tea -- it was good but there was so much tequila in there! lol i am definitely off my game permanently from drinking now. it was fun eating and chatting with everyone <3 hillary and daniel went off to the game and then kevin and i drove back home. we showered and relaxed and then kevin gamed while i did some exercise (had to hit 10k steps) and then i just brushed my teeth and went to sleep at around 11 am. kevin let daniel and hillary in after they came back from the game.
