You missed school for three days, now that worried Eddie. He used the excuse of you missing tutoring but the truth was that you unknowingly had become a drug for him. How did it happen? How was it that in a few days he became obsessed with you, for God's sake you! The girl who never spoke or threw herself out there, he never had you on his radar until now.

"She is not your type get over it." He said to himself when he walked into class expecting to see you, but only another empty chair.

"Munson, where is Y/n?" Miss. Em asked also worried about your disappearance. Eddie shook his head and shrugged his shoulders. Acting as if he isn't having a fit that you aren't there.

"I don't know." He said and walked to his seat.

'Did they argue?' She thought and began feeling sad because of the partnership.

"Well you should find out. You two owe me two sheets from that packet." She said and left to her desk.

'That should give him the push.' She told herself and kept an eye on him. She noticed how he would glance at the door, probably expecting you to come in. He didn't even have the motivation to finish any work. She felt a but sad for him. She secretly hopes that you come to school on Monday.

Eddie felt like a zombie again, all he thought was about you and nothing else. His classes felt long and useless he just wanted the day to end.

"Fucking brain rot." Eddie said as he sat with his club. The campaign distracted him from you for a while until he remembers that you aren't here for him to tutor. He needed to find out what happened to you.

"Campaign has to be canceled today." He said giving them all a shock. They seemed as if he said that someone died. They all began throwing questions at him.

"Shut up!" Eddie said and moved his hair out of his face.

"One at a time..." he let them talk.

"Why? This is the cult of Vecna! You even said it!" Gareth said earning an agreement from the whole club.

"Yeah well, sometimes, there are other things important than The Cult Of Vecna, alright?" Eddie said and this time didn't argue with himself. He felt guilty about canceling, they have been working for it for months and they are a close to it.

"Look, I'll make it up to you all. I don't know how or what, but this is something that I have to do, because if I don't it's going to slowly eat the soul out of me as it already is!" Eddie made a fist and bit it trying to control his anger. They all silently agreed and changed the subject trying to lighten up the mood.

Dustin could see that you had a huge impact on him. He has seen Eddie with polar opposite girls than you and he wasn't this bad with them as he is with you.

"Eddie, is it about y/n?" Dustin whispered. Eddie always found a different, in a good way, friendship with Dustin. Eddie knew that he isn't the type of friend unlike some of those bozos to go and pick on him because of a girl. Eddie nodded and picked at his nails.

"She hasn't come to school at all and I'm getting worried." Eddie mumbled and Dustin heard it loud and clear.

"Is that why the campaign is canceled?" Eddie nodded and Dustin left it at that. He knew that if he asked more questions it would cause a problem for Eddie.

Soon as the end of school bell rang he was out of class and running to his van. He felt like a creep for memorizing the directions to your house but at that point he could deal with it later.

Eddie drove up to your house and noticed that truck from the other day there. He parked in the driveway and brought down the packet if work. Maybe he could try and put in some tutoring while he checked on you.

'You got this' he told himself and took a deep breath. It felt like if he was going to go to war with Vecna and his demobat army. He hesitated but knocked on the door roughly. A few seconds pass and he was close to knocking again when the door opened. He expected to see you but a man around his height maybe taller opened the door.

"What can I help you with?" The man had somewhat of a southern accent. He kind of intimidated Eddie.

"Hi..." Eddie awkwardly waved and gripped the packet tight. He snapped his fingers and pointed at Eddie while nodding.

"You must be the boy who helped my babygirl." He looked at him up and down, before moving of the way and let Eddie in.

"Name is Joel, Joel L/n."

"Eddie Munson." Eddie introduced himself and shook Joel's hand. He began walking and Eddie followed like a lost puppy. Eddie looked around the house and found pictures of you looking cute smiling or just looking like a child. He figured that you got your style from Joel, but joel was more tucked in plaid and neat looking. Somewhat of a modern cowboy.

"You're lookin' for my daughter I assume.." Eddie nodded when he looked back at him.

"She is getting washed up... her- monthly, it knocks her down. Sometimes it comes unexpectedly and she's in pain." Joel talked while walking towards a room and opened it.

"This is hers. You can wait here. I'll try and hurry her up-" Eddie didn't mean to interrupt him but he was feeling jittery.

"No sir. I'll wait, she needs her time." Joel smirked and leaned in to tell him something.

"I didn't expect her tutor to look like you, hope you don't take it up the ass." He lit a cigarette and blew smoke away from Eddie.

"No sir. I'm used to the people judging me." Joel laughed and pointed at your bed.

"She'll be out in a bit, have a seat." He closed the door half ways and Eddie sat on your bed looking around. You had posters up of many things and stuff that Eddie liked. He got up and looked at a photo you had on your desk, it was you and Joel. You looked like a toddler and have the same cute innocent face that he saw on Tuesday. Joel was holding you up and looking at you lovingly.

Eddie placed it down and moved to your stereo and turned it on.

'Five to one baby, one in five~' Eddie let the song play and became interested in what you music you liked. This was new to him, or maybe he had heard something similar.

"Sound like something uncle Wayne listens too." He said and smiled brightly.

"Get together one more time!~" Eddie heard Joel sing and quietly laughed.

"Whatcha singing at old man?" Eddie heard your voice and he felt as if his world stopped.

"Oh nothing babygirl, Just some of the tunes we like." You laughed. Eddie heard your footsteps get closer and held his breath until you pushed open your door still looking at your dad.

"You got a guest!" Joel yelled when you turned and looked shocked when Eddie was standing awkwardly in the middle of your room.

"Thanks for the heads up old man' you mentally said.

"Hey" Eddie waved and you turned to close your door half ways.

"Hey" you quietly said and cautiously grabbed a hair brush and began brushing your hair. You sat on your bed and pointed at the end of the bed for Eddie to sit.

The two of you sat quietly listening to the music until Eddie spoke up.

"You where gone for a few days..." he said looking you with puppy eyes. You chuckled and became confused with his sudden change. Eddie was being nicer than the last time, he gave you whiplash.

You got up and placed the brush back in its spot. Eddie looked at you and noticed the long tshirt that came to above your knees and the pink shorts with sheep on them. Your legs were out and in full view just for him. He felt himself move uncomfortable trying to hide his flustered face.

"Yeah I haven't been feeling great." You quietly said and began taking stuff from your backpack. You moved back to your spot and brought out one of the pages from the packet.

"It took a minute but I finished one side." You handed it to Eddie, he cleared his throat and he began checking it until the next song began playing.

You began asking about the last few questions that you had a hard time understanding. As much as Eddie didn't want to do school work he had to because the two of you were behind. Every once in a while you would grab your back and frown with pain. You sat straight and moved forward a little to stretch.

"You feel okay? " Eddie stopped mid sentence and asked, you shook your head.

You felt embarrassed that Eddie knew why you're in pain, but he saved you from making a fool out of yourself.

"My lower back hurts." You honestly said and began massaging the area. Eddie moved to your side and sat behind you.

"Can I trust you two?" You both understood what he meant and nodded.

"It's just school work. I'm behind as it is." You said and he felt comfortable with that. He walked out leaving you two alone. You felt your cheeks warm up and looked at Eddie, before he got up and sat on his original spot.

About a very late answer to your question (My family has COVID, which is shocking to hear, or so I'm told, but they're recovering and they fortunately had a mild case and no one has any history of disease so they're going to be okay! That's what the doctor said and I'm praying), Taco hell made me laugh really hard when I read it and really lifted my spirits because I remember being in not a great place when I started it but it made me smile which was like, a thing for me, and don't judge me but I think The three way was probably my favourite and I don't want to think about what that says about me but it was really because I love works that are that long (around 50k is always my sweet spot). I'm not sure if I'm remembering right and I'm so so sorry if I'm getting the title song wrong but that one Jamilton fic with uh, Gucci and fendi in the title was really fun to read ;-;
