Raheem interview with Music Industry Magazine.

From super model to singer and songwriter, Raheem Peters seems to have it all. We sit down with him today to ask of his newly formed band 'Slipknot'. Not all the members are known to the public. Only two of them have been seen without a mask, Taeyong and Raheem.

wMIN interviewer: Raheem Peters, welcome to our offices here in Lion's Arch. How are you doing?

RP: Hello, thank you for the warm welcome. I'm doing pretty well despite the heavy rain currently outside. How about you?

MIN: Doing fantastic now that we finally get the chance to sit down together and talk about your band. Do you want to tell us something about it, in general?

RP: Of course, we're a band of nine people, interested in the same thing- Bringing across our music and our stories.

MIN: You say people, does that mean you have not only men in the group?

RP: I'm not inclined to disclose that information.

MIN: We had to ask, you understand. Alright so nine people. Why the masks?

RP: Our faces don't matter. We could be just about anyone you pass on your way to work or school. We could be your elderly neighbor or even your parent, everyone has a story.

MIN: That's almost a romantic notion, if it weren't for the scare-factor in the masks. How did you get the idea to stop being a solo artist?

RP: When I was solo, I felt a little lonely. The band was just that-.. They were there to provide the music I wrote but if one couldn't make it, I'd get someone else. I was missing a more secure.. safe feeling in the studio so I reached out to Taeyong. He said he was good at drums and said he'd like to keep me company.. So that was that. We auditioned other people and before the end of the week, we had a band.

MIN: End of the week! That's really quick. And you just wanted to play in studios.. But now? Is the stage calling your name?

RP <Amused>: Not just mine, and we're coming to The Stage in Divinity's Reach in three weeks.

MIN: You're the mystery gig! Now I'm sure sales of the tickets will go through the roof.

RP: It's already sold out as usual with the mystery gigs. But, I managed to secure a few tickets for close friends and relatives.

MIN: Can we be privy to who those people will be? For your curious fans.

RP: My father Christian, my brothers Rylar and Philip, and of course Philip's girlfriend, Camilla.

MIN: What about your boyfriend? He doesn't get a ticket?

RP: He doesn't need one. He's my VIP guest.

MIN: That's disgustingly romantic. Is there anything else you want to share before you go back to practice?

RP: Yes, with this interview, we're releasing our very first band song, written by all of us. It's surprise to even our families and loved ones. I hope you'll all enjoy it.

MIN: Thank you so much for your time, Raheem.

RP: Pleasure is all mine.

Vous êtes nombreux à attendre la sortie du troisième volet de la saga utopico-banlieue du CLUEDO. Patience, ça vient…  En amuse-bouche et pour calmer vos passions du ragot, vous trouverez dans cet enregistrement une compilation des meilleures interviews donnés par le collectif. Des anecdotes en rafale pour les gourmets, du tac-au-tac absurde mais aussi toute une réflexion approfondie autour des grands enjeux sociaux de demain comme les Besancenot-baleines ou l'Underground Java Pop… Autant de sujets incontournables qu'abordent ici plusieurs grands noms d'H.A.K. sous le regard médusé des petites mains des mass-médias (les Drucker et consorts).

Des making-ofs du making-of, un best-of de ces derniers et nous voilà catapultés dans la galaxie du nombril-gyrophare. Comme le dit monsieur San-té que demander de plus à part un pied dans le nez ? Enfin, en cadeau bonus, les fans auront le bonheur d'écouter sur une deuxième piste messieurs San-té et Fang-Shih-Yu se surpasser au jeu du Trivial Pursuit Acteur, un jeu réputé difficile chez tous les égotripés des banlieues.
