Okay, I got bored and stared thinking about the Onibi Series, the thing that got me interested in Vocaloid. It's basically about the curse Akari Oborodzuka (played by Hatsune Miku) inflicted upon the Shishikusa clan after she was tortured to death by Ryou Shishikusa (played by GUMI). I love the traditional sound the songs have, plus how creepy the series is. Though, I wish Masa used more Vocaloids to portray the various characters in the series. So, I ended up casting some of the Vocaloids that I'm familiar with and the ones Masa have used to the characters! ~ GUMI as Mai Shishikusa ~ Mai is one of the only ones that hasn't changed, since her being Mai is fitting and I also ship GUMI with Miku. ~ Hatsune Miku as Akari/Zhu Li Oborodzuka ~ Like Mai, Akari's portrayer hasn't changed. I ship Miku with GUMI, so her being Akari just fits. ~ Kagamine Rin/Len as Shikyou the Amanojaku ~ Shikyou is an amanojaku, a malevolent kami/demon. I like to headcanon that they're agender, since they think the human concept of gender is meaningless. They appear as both male and female, not only because they use these two forms to help persuade mortals to give into their deepest, darkest desires but also because they like switching forms to confuse humans. So, having Shikyou be both Rin and Len is quite fitting. ~ Megurine Luka as Emi ~ I always saw Emi as being older than Mai and Akari, but younger than Ryou and Tomonari Shishikusa. Luka's voice sounds more mature than GUMI's and Miku's, so I thought she would be a good Emi. Plus, Luka with Emi's long, purple hair would be perfect. ~ Sachiko as Ryou Shishikusa ~ I adore Sachiko's voice with all my heart. She's much more mature and realistic than most female Vocaloids, who tend to have more anime-esque sounding voices. Her being Ryou would be perfect. Can you imagine her singing GUMI's parts in "The Demon Spider and the Kitsune-like Lion", "Demon Child in the Clear Mirror", and "Will-o'-the Wisp/Demon Fire"? It would be HEAVENLY. ~ Yuzuki Yukari as Kaori Onidzuka ~ Masa has used Yukari in the past, but I couldn't find any song of his that features her. I have only heard one song of hers, but I think her voice would be perfect for Kaori the Demon Child. Plus, Kaori having Yukari's low pigtails would be adorable! ~ Hiyama Kiyoteru as Tomonari Shishikusa ~ I dunno why, but having Kiyoteru be Tomonari seemed right to me. I don't really ship him with Sachiko, but the only two other male Vocaloids I like/know of don't really fit Tomonari that much. *le shrug* ~ Camui Gackpo as Daiji Masaoma ~ The only reason Gackpo is Daiji is because he's a samurai and I totally see Daiji as one of the many samurai Daimyo Tomonari has under his control. That's it. ~ KAITO as Kanishiro Oborodzuka ~ I always saw KAITO as Miku's brother/cousin, so him being Kanishiro was no debate. ~ IA as Shizune Shishikusa ~ Like Yukari, Masa has used IA in the past. She's already in Maha's Story (I think???), so why not include her in Onibi?
