Love the idea that the Symbiote had abandonment issues after being rejected by so many Hosts

Venom Symbiote is very easy to fluster over the even the vaguest of compliments, but only from Eddie, everyone else is an ego boost but like. That’s its Host, the one that happily lets it live within himself? I think that finally having a Host that loves it so much does something to Venom

They try to flirt with Eddie by doing the whole “let’s measure our hands��� thing, but tries to brush it off like “haha your hands are so small and cute-“ Then Eddie interlocks their fingers together and they just freeze.

Like they raised Sleeper from the moment it spawned and it became a calm, non-murderous Symbiote from the get go, and Dylan is literally a Codex taken half-human-half-Symbiote form, biological son to Venom as a whole, and they’re just chill about it???? No way

Ofc not in a particularly unhealthy way, the last thing Eddie wants to do is make his kids upset with him, but Venom 100% is the type to take photos of every moment and spend hours rambling about their kids to any poor soul that brings them up- they’re just very doting parents I think
