Hi friend. 💖💖 First, I hope you're doing well and ok. I hope this is ok for me to send and I'm wondering if you've ever dealt with this. How do you feel about writing fics for a fandom that is practically non-existing or is fading away? I know the most important thing is to write for yourself, but at the same time I would love to have feedback. I almost feel discouraged not to continue writing at this point.

first - of course it's ok to send me questions like this ! happy to give some feedback & hope it will be helpful. I will try my best.

I've written fics in the past for some characters, movies, & shows that are either a couple years old since they've been around, or not as well known in the fandom spaces. Falling in love with a story sometimes is inevitable & the daydream inside your heart & mind just needs to be put down on paper !

Surprisingly, some people out there have found those fics & were happy to have seen them. Sometimes the one thing you're looking for to read, doesn't exist yet, & the moment you make it, guaranteed there will be a kind soul just like you who's been waiting for it.

I tell everyone the same thing all the time, write the stories that make you feel something, & that you've always wanted to tell. Something that elicits an emotional or visceral response. A work that lights up everything inside you.

Sounds like a real hippie thing to say, right ? If you made it this far ... I say some really weird s*** later 🌸

Try not to feel discouraged or stressed about doing something creative, because at the end of the day, things like this are supposed to be fun & for your own enjoyment. Forget everything else.

If you feel comfortable sharing your work, you can even just show a small group of friends or post anonymously. That way it might take some of that pressure off.

I think because of this brand new social media age, people are often concerned with gaining validation or public recognition, & that isn't truly a measure of your self worth. You have to believe in yourself first.

Please continue with your writing, when the feeling strikes - whenever that may be, don't give up. Try a short 10 min free writing exercise. Use a prompt for a head start or boost. Keep a journal or notebook for ideas or random thoughts throughout the day. Set your intentions & keep them positive. Go outside in nature to rest & recharge. You need the good energy placed in the universe now more than ever. 💫

for the moodboard: my absolute fav comfort character tommy miller. favorite season is autumn and what brings me comfort is rain and cloudy days, Greek history/mythology and last my fav color is like a terra cotta color. (Only do this if you have the time and you have the right space for it) 💖💫

I don't have a PS5 (yet) either so I feel you on not being able to play! 😭

😭 ! I honestly don't think I'm going to buy the ps5 (I'm just a casual gamer) & for me personally it's just too expensive !

I just wish they would have made it available for ps4 also with a ps5 digital option like some of these other new games have. 🤦‍♀️

all the fanboys commenting about it are telling people 'cal sucks anyway' which is just a complete trash opinion

also the ps4 looks so sleek & minimal, I prefer that simple design better, it doesn't take up alot of space

hi hi 💌 he is definitely so swoon worthy in that movie, very beautiful singing voice. I think in the role of Christian he just expresses every emotion through his eyes, his movements, even with his smile. It's like one of those things where love is shown so naturally that there doesn't need to be words at all. 🌼💫

I've been thinking about this moon knight fic I've been really wanting to do right now ? But idk where to start.

Ofc is friends with Steven & they play a video game together online

Steven's character - 'moon guy' is based on the alter ego super hero baddie he turns into irl

But he doesn't realize that his moon guy on the game, is really in fact himself

He doesn't know where the idea for his custom avatar even came from - avatar being the key word here

Ofc knows about Marc when encountering him one day by accident, when he shows up for their inevitable date instead of Steven

She accepts him unconditionally but isn't sure whether or not her own mental health struggles will get in the way of their happiness

What if she loves them both ? What if she's too vulnerable to allow everything to happen ?

What happens when Jake appears to drive them home ? Steven doesn't have a license because of his sleeping condition. Marc might have had his suspended in a prior dust up ...

Idk I'm weird ! Just some thoughts. Haven't even written this yet & don't know if I will ? But what are your thoughts ?

Oh! Oh! I saw your tags and if you're interested, pick up The Wolf Den by Elodie Harper. I found it to be so addicting and incredibly good. I wanted to give a warning that due to the topic of the book, it is a bit devastating and the author does a really good job on describing what life was like for these women working in a brothel in Pompeii. (I understand if you're not interested at all!)

Also highly recommend Circe by Madeline Miller.

bears are adorable, majestic animals & my favorite one of all time is winnie the pooh, silly ol' bear 🥰

I wish it was safe enough to be able to pet one up close.

also, random side note, back in Nov I read a children's book called The Grizzly Mother about a mother grizzly bear showing her cubs how to survive & share the land & forests with other creatures. the illustrations are beautiful ! it should be available for free from the library (but if you have a kindle paperwhite the ebook version is not the best). it was really nice if you or anyone else is interested ! 💛
