She had seen his razor sharp teeth as he had spoken to Heleen, the unnatural sharpness of his bones and the way his fingers seemed just a bit too long. She knew what he was– damned by the Saints. But she was not afraid of him; an escape damned by the Saints was better than no escape at all.
