This is the church, this is the steeple, open the doors and see all the people. The church, the steeple, and all of the people…Repeating that forever as one’s oath. Protecting this church, dying on our steeple, locking the doors to sly evil people. There is an alter being made here, an idol to be praised, a witch to be set ablaze.

A temptress who has corrupted the heart of a girl in the convent. A young girl stolen away by sin; Karako took a vow that she would protect all that is righteous and holy in this world and that is why she kneels here. Head craned down until it hurts, neck strained, at this alter, praising an idol, setting a witch ablaze, with her shoulders baring the weight of what could never be considered a sin.

Gospel being sung in the hushed choir for exactly one as Karako on her hands and knees takes communion. She savors the taste of flesh too divine to be unholy, swallowing down her own saliva in greedy gulps one after another so there is more room to consume more. It’s almost similar to the rhyme as before, or similar in within its intent. Her fingers pry back two petals gently and within this metaphor Karako laps up the nectar from ovary to pistil.  Karako won’t tire from this because she’s used to working until her hands calloused and tendons aching.

For once though her tongue and digits can be used for more than just violence in the name of God.

Karako, second born and second to none in terms of physical ability, blessed by Our Heavenly Father, bred to be one of his brides. Veiled with a habit, christened in her coif, baptized with a wimple, veil long and black like her hair. Karako was born for this, surrendered to the church with the rest of her sisters, all wrapped in tunics from the moment life was given.

There was a wicked witch who once was Karako’s most cherished friend. She had been seduced by the black arts and Karako had been told Bibi’s soul was damned for eternity. When Karako heavy with armor, anchored by chainmail, dragging that ornate sword behind her she expected for there to be a tell – one sign to prove that what the priest had said was true. That there was a sin to be repented for.

Instead Karako found herself on her knees praying this witch will set her ablaze with her tongue next.

Karako: Well what I did was start out simple, I started with doing 10 sit ups then worked up to 10 sit ups and 20 push ups then 30 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on cycling
