If he asks for fish, do you scare him w/a live snake on his plate? You wouldn’t think of such a thing. You’re decent to your own children. So don’t you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better? . Matthew 22:18-22 - Early the next morning Jesus was returning to the city. He was hungry. In the spirit of #ShirleyChisholm, I have the #faith to go after my “God dreams!” The dreams that God places in our hearts & spirits takes faith, drive & discipline to bring to pass! For God knows what we will be up against as we seek to manifest our “God dreams.” God knows that tremendous opposition shall come our way along w/great disappointments, failures, obstacles, challenges & heartbreak. For it is the things that we want most that will test our faith most! But it is our faith that we must lean on in these trying, testing times. For it is your faith that will literally pick you up & stand you on your feet when you do not feel you have the strength to go on or do not even want to go on. It is your faith that will cause you to declare to yourself & the world who you are at a time when what you are saying sounds absolutely preposterous or seemingly impossible for you. It is your faith that will release your soul mate to you in God’s perfect timing for your life, after you have suffered much heartbreak. It is your faith that will push & propel you to your destiny.... driving you towards it as you encounter all types of hazardous & frustrating road & weather conditions, while simultaneously demanding your discipline & faith to bring what God has for to pass! In the last couple of days or so, God has been pushing me to do some things that are connected to my Purpose and Destiny that I have been unmotivated to do in recent months as well as some things that I have been uncomfortable doing. As a result, I have become motivated again, as it relates to certain aspects of my #PurposeAndPower. It is as though a fire has been rekindled in my heart and an urgency to “do” has been reignited in my spirit! Additionally, I received a “yes” to something I have been waiting and hoping for...desperately hoping for... Truly, what is motivating me to act is a faith and a trust in God’s Promises on my life as it relates to my #PurposeAndPower and Destiny. . Being motivated by God’s Promises for your life requires a faith in what is not seen as well as a courage, boldness, commitment and tenacity to look foolish as you work with God to manifest God’s Promises to you and for your life. The Bible is full of people and their testimonies that involved them looking foolish to woman and man, as they trusted, believed, had faith in and pursued what God Promised for their life. . . At the risk of looking foolish, in our #KerseWords #PurposePromisePowerYear, we must be motivated by God’s Promises to us. This is the way that we receive and achieve all that God Purposed, Promised and Powered for us this year! #PurposePromisePower .
