De ploeg van Dave Vos wist in de halve finale met 2-0 te winnen van PSV, waardoor Ajax in de finale uit zal komen. Daan Reiziger hield met uitstekende reddingen meerdere malen Ajax op de been, terwijl voorin het vizier niet op scherp stond. _____________________________________________________ Na rust was Ajax echter heer en meester op het veld. Het kreeg ook een hoop kansen en uiteindelijk volgde in de 71e minuut de beloning dankzij een treffer van Ki-Jana Hoever. Ki-Jana Hoever impressed on his Liverpool debut (Picture: Getty)Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for debutant Ki-Jana Hoever after the defender’s first team bow against Wolves in the FA Cup. The 16-year-old became the third youngest player to appear for the Reds when he entered the fray after seven minutes in the Reds’ 2-1 defeat at Molineux. Klopp made nine changes to his side but was forced into another when Dejan Lovren limped off with a hamstring strain. Hoever joined Liverpool from Ajax’s academy and is highly thought of on Merseyside and Klopp was impressed by the youngster’s display.
